Storchen- Bar

The Storchen Bar is a tiny little gem nested within the ever so charming Zum Storchen Hotel in Zurich.
The bar inside is quaint, cozy and tiny, but I usually offer to sit outside, staring into the evening nights of Zurich while gazing away at the Lake and all the strollers wandering past the hotels. Romantics, friends, pets, etc… all stroll through and by the hotel.
It’s not cheap and cheery, and not good for people who are looking for action or with more than 2 people.
When it’s chillier, they have blankets outside to cover over you. There is nothing better than to spend an early evening over a lovely glass of champagne with your partner or great friend while gazing into the Lake Zurich and viewing the twin towers of the Grossmünster… all whilst occasionally day dreaming about how great it could be if you could spend all day here whilst you write your next novel.

Ich bewerte hier die Bar, die links der Limmat direkt am Ufer liegt. Man kann hier draußen direkt am Wasser sitzen, mit herrlichem Blick auf Fluß, Altstadt und Grossmünster, bei kühleren Temperaturen helfen die die dicken Felle auf den Hockern. Bier, Weine und Snacks sind klasse.
Wenn ich geschäftlich in Zürich bin, gehe ich nach einem anstrendenden Arbeitstag immer zuerst hierhin, um bei gutem Essen/​Trinken mich bei diesem herrlichen Blick zu entspannen.
