This place is fantastic. Might not have all of the food some people want, but the lounge is huge, modern, clean and a true oasis for layovers. This is the only lounge I have personally been to with an outdoor terrace — you get to watch all of the airport action, and they even have several binoculars for use. Tons of outlets, tremendous drink selection, and not to mention a quiet section with reclining lounger chairs. Great job, Swiss.

The new Swiss lounge at gate E is amazing! Love the space and design at the senator lounge. We arrived here for breakfast and there is a live counter where you can choose different types of ways to cook your eggs. There are fruits juice from innocent(a brand) and great coffee machine where you can choose from caramel, vanilla latte machiatto iced or hot, chai milk, coffee and chocolates iced or hot. Not to forget whisky club 28⁄10 which is on the left hand side when you enter the senator lounge, of course it is closed during breakfast hour :). The space for relaxing is spacious and the bistro seating is as well ample. Watch out for the various charging possibilities, normal power plug and usb as well in every seats.

That’s almost generous in comparison to other airports, but it’ll do. Food-wise, not much selection. Just a chicken salad, but was good. And the fruit here weren’t fresh, most of the apples were bruised. At least they had prunes and bananas. Drinks selection was good, and cute that they had Halloween-size treats like Mars & Snickers. Very crowded seating area and from the brief time there(under 15 min., had to take the shuttle to the gate, one of those, urgh so be forewarned). Not a place to relax and chill — isn’t that the whole point of paying for membership lol. I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re in a rush.

Swiss Panorama Lounge at Terminal E during breakfast time was sad. The only thing that save the experience might be the nice selection of alcoholic choices but sadly at 7 am after a 10 hour plane ride, I just could not get myself to enjoy any. Breakfast choice was minimum aside from some breakfast pastry. But at least the espresso machine made decent drinks. There is no separate wifi log in at the Lounge so you are still limit to the free 60 minute access from the Airport main wifi log in. That is just kind of disappointing! For such a big lounge, there is no washroom facilities. I would not recommend to pay a per stay charge but if it is include in your Priority Pass or other airline program then would be fine for a visit.

One of the most disappointing lounges I’ve been in. Food and drink selection is meager. Hardly any sockets to plug in and recharge portable devices. However, it does have a lot of space and huge windows along one side.

Surly front desk staff. Internet access limited to one hour. Very few electrical outlets. Layout is okay but can become quickly overcrowded. Not sure how this place is called an «executive lounge». Better off at the Starbucks on the main floor.

As airport lounges go, you’re better off avoiding this spot. It’s crowded, harsh and free. The service people are all nice, but that’s about the best I can say about my experience. We had a beer and then went to our gate where it was less crowded and more comfortable.

Airport lounge access in the E gates on the 3rd floor. Bit of an odd setup. The important information you really need to know about the lounge. Food is fine, drink is fine, nothing spectacular, but plenty of espresso and breakfast(when we were there) was good. Quite busy. What is lacking? Not enough seating while we were there. There is a serious lack of usable electrical outlets. Wireless Internet access for just *ONE* hour is provided. You can get a second hour via your mobile phone, but only if you have a mobile phone that you can have a code sent to.(Hint, order a code a day ahead, they are good for two days, if I remember correctly and you can get a new one every 24 hours.)

Meh! It serves as a place to rest your feet, get something to drink, and access wifi between your flights. Other than that, it is pretty basic. It is also called Panorama Lounge in case you see a different name to it. Pros: Good enough wifi and close to the gates. The view is great. You get to see all the planes coming in and flying out. You feel like you are in an open space, unlike the dungeon that United Airlines call a lounge in the Dulles airport. Cons: Bland, below-mediocre breakfast. I find myself at ZRH usually in the morning on my way from Chicago or DC and before getting on my connecting flight to an African destination. There is usually a short layover — 1 to 2 hours — and I try to eat breakfast and have a nice cup of espresso before getting on my next flight. Most European breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Not in this lounge. Stale croissants, miserable dinner rolls, and fruit is all you get, plus some juices. No hot breakfast? Even crappy United Airlines lounges in the US serve cereal. However, the espresso always saves the day. No privacy. The lounge is open floor plan and you can pretty much see everyone and everything. Not that it matters to me, but some people like to find a corner and sleep… no such luck. However, the view is nice… you can see the planes come in and leave on the landing strips. I like that. Bathrooms are outside the lounge. You have to leave the lounge, go down a flight of stairs and come back. What the what? Oh, and no shower facilities. As I stated in the beginning, it is a pretty basic lounge, no frills, no pleasure… just rest yourself for an hour and get on your way. It is hard to give this lounge anything more than 2 stars after being in the Star Alliance lounges in Bangkok, Istanbul, even Frankfurt. ZRH and Swiss, you need to do better!

One of the best lounge in terms of layout, bottomless food and drinks and food selection of wine. If you have morning flight, you will be in heaven for freshly baked bread and croissant. Considering relatively small airport, it doesn’t get too busy. Planty of PC to use in case your laptop is low in battery.

This is the slightly more calm lounge as it’s mostly used by Swiss vs the other lounge that gets more users. It’s comfortable and has nice views of the airport and mountains. As is typical in European lounges, the drinks flow freely and there is plenty of food. I will say that the food was a bit lackluster, though you are able to go across the hall to a different food area with some additional options, so I think that might increase the food selections. Definitely a nice spot to sit and wait if you’re stuck in the airport for long periods of time!

You know the old cliché about the swiss: Efficient, simple, and without flair or frill. Yep that’s this lounge. It is called the panorama lounge and it does have beautiful views of the airport and the surrounding mountains. It is very quiet, very comfortable, and private. The bar is fully stocked and gratis. Many beers(I personally do not care for swiss beer), wines, hard liquors etc. The food was very good. The small sandwiches one of pretzel bun cucumber and brie and the other a soft seed roll, butter, and ham were very good and fresh. The chocolate tort was also very good. The food changes hourly so there is nice variation. I will definitely. come back and use the lounge when I am next in Zurich or Switzerland.

Beautiful, beautiful lounge. I had a 5 hour layover and luckily my 1k standing at united transferred over to star alliance. Not only was the lounge beautifully laid out, it was very quiet and everyone was very nice. The food bar had plenty of variety to choose from and the showers were very clean. I was craving ice cream during my layover and I went back about 3 times…

Swiss means business and they do their lounge well too. It is basic but have all the amenities that one needs to take a rest or work before getting into a long flight.

Rude. Arrogant and ignorantly rude behavior of the check-in agent for this lounge. Typical cold/soulless Swiss/Bavarian ignorance of which I’m all too familiar with. We had a connecting Swiss to United flight and were told to go to the Panorama lounge via the Swiss transfer desk. When we came to the lounge the sad excuse of a man«check-in agent» literally scoffed at us and our tickets and told us we didn’t belong in the lounge and to go elsewhere. He was so sh*tty… it was immeasurable. We were never once rude so there should have never been a trigger for this low-life scum to be as blatantly rude. We told this ClausHansAss we were directed to the lounge via the transfer desk and he looked at us with his beady eyes through his shprokets framed glasses and acted like we lied to him. He told us he had to see our credentials before allowing access because our tickets were not enough. We showed him our mileage cards, like he asked, and he still told us to go elsewhere. Man was he flustered. We barely said one word to this jerk and his panties were wedged farther up than anyone can imagine. He told us to use lounges in other gates that would require clearances from immigration both ways, in and out, which is hard to do with time ticking away before the next flight. So we told him that — that it would be worthless to clear immigration twice and take trains to the other lounges. He told us there was a lounge in Terminal D and that we wouldn’t need to clear immigration for that before snarkily waving us away with his flimsy wrists. He said the other lounge was«only 50 meters that way.» A. it was well over 50 meters. It was a fairly long train ride away, we found out and B. we still had to cross immigration. So he lied. And was a capital D ouche. On our return from the unreachable«D lounge» we asked the original transfer desk what the issue was and those ladies actually took the time to research the ordeal and then explained to us that United couldn’t be bothered to pay for usage of the Panorama Lounge. Beware if you’re flying United Star Alliance and land in Zurich’s E terminal. You’ll be treated like you broke up Hitler’s parade, yesterday.

Sehr gut and a half. A well run, comfortable lounge with showers, Internet, decent food and drinks makes for one happy herr(so to speak).
