Das Preisniveau für die Zürcher Innenstadt ist akzeptabel. War sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort!

We went there with our Chinese guests/​friends after not being able to impress them with Swiss and Italian food prior to the visit.
Our Chinese friends organize what to order with the hostess of the restaurnt in Chinese. So unfortunately I cannot really tell what we had (ordered alot) but they were very good and tasted quite authentic and spicy, although our guests said that it would have been just an average in China. For Switzerland this is categorized very good.

Everything in life can be somewhat relative.
This restaurant has some great dishes. I love the location near Paradeplatz… And they have some very special dishes that you can get made to order in advanced.
The gem of this place is the water boiled beef. Amazingly cooked and the seasoning is perfectly done here. The best in Zurich. Their other dishes are really good too — they make very nice Cantonese dishes as well! (They specialize in Shanghainese food) I haven’t had anything here so far that I wasn’t happy with.
In the meantime I have also found another gem that also specializes in mainland Chinese dishes that cooks a comparable water boiled beef/​fish dish, called Restaurant Ach’i; which specializes in Northern Chinese cuisine. It’s near Helvetizplatz so a different neighborhood but it’s a cheaper competitor if price is a huge issue for you… Given the location of this place their dishes can be a tad higher than average but the tastiness of the dishes sure make up for everything else. The service may feel a bit aggressive if you get the boss… My friend and I feel am not sure if she’s trying to be helpful by recommending more dishes or trying to push us to order more. But whatever it is, she is certainly not short of good recommendations!

Ich mag China-​Food so gerne — es ist einfach so würzig, so geschmacksintensiv und es hat viel Auswahl. Egal ob Rind, Poulet, Ente oder Scampi — es gibt es in den verschiedensten Varianten. Ob mit Naturreis, Kantonesichem Reis oder mit gebratenen Nudeln, einfach herrlich!
Hier betreibt die Familie Liu-​Min ein gutes China-​Restaurant, welches von Aussen fast etwas unscheinbar wirkt. Der gelbe Schnabel macht aber durch die gute Küche auf sich aufmerksam und alle, die schon einmal da gefuttert haben, werden es auch wieder tun und weiter empfehlen. Hier hat es viele chinesische Gäste, was ja eigentlich immer ein gutes Zeichen für eine «wirklich chinesische» Küche ist.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich wirklich — das Restaurant an der Zinngasse freut sich auf neue Gesichter!
