this place is all about the meat! don’t expect a fancy restaurant, it’s paper plates. but the beef is too quality parma grass fed from Argentina. Tastiest, Leanest, healthiest meat you can eat. really enjoyed it and prices are very reasonable. very popular with the locals.

Great spot. Had an excellent meal here with 7 of us. Steak and sausage. All very good. Service outstanding. Wine was top shelf.

Went here for lunch. The sausages were ok and the empanada was ok too. But the filet steak was pretty bad. Couldn’t eat it – very gamey taste and smell. Returned it and wasn’t charged. Service was very good and the place seem clean and hospitable — but to me if the filet ain’t good this ain’t the place.

Simple menu, very tasty tapas based on Argentinean beef delicacies. Yummy! Marcelo is the best!!!

This is probably the best thing we tasted on our 10-day trip to Madrid. We got some Malbec and asked the waiter to bring us what he thought was good and boy, did he deliver. We got a little bit of everything to try, but the more expensive cuts of steaks were the star as it was nicely seasoned and melted in your mouth. This place is tiny, but our group of 7 was able to get seated after a little waiting. Service was excellent and we are looking forward to coming back. Do not hesitate if you like your grilled meats.

Very disappointed to have wasted a meal here. Small portions, over priced, extremely salty and literally the worst Sangria of my life — there was about 2 centimeters of sugar in the bottom of my glass. The beef was okay but certainly nothing special. Can’t wrap my mind around the positive reviews.

A lovely little place. Everything we ordered was delicious and made of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The solomillo(a tender sliced fillet garnished with sea salt) was exceptionally good. The service was excellent: personal, attentive, and clearly committed to making this a better-than-average dining experience. The manager came to check on us during our meal. The waiter brought us shots of Bailey’s on the house. And none of it felt disingenuous. Highly recommended!

So I think I should start this by saying that everything was worth about 4 stars until the owner came by and started talking to us. We had a great dinner, it was our second tapas bar of the night and it came highly recommended by trip advisor. The meat was amazing. Some of the best beef I have ever had, it literally melt in your mouth. It tasted fresh, no aging or anything, just quality beef with no need for seasoning. We had the house wine, a corn empanada, and a baked potato. Everything was great, worthy of 4 stars. Then someone came over and talked to us… it was the owner of the restaurant. His English wasn’t very good but with our broken Spanish and his broken English we were able to make it work! Awesome guy, born in Argentina now living in Madrid. Such a great guy and a great convo. The place is small, we went in a Sunday night after we saw that all the reservations were full and it was super busy Saturday night. We say at a bar facing the wall, lol, but it didn’t matter. Well with a visit if you are in the mood for beef tapas!

Good meat in small portions. The restaurant is on a popular small street but the establishment could improve on their marketing. For example this is an environmentally friendly place but this was written in small print on the menu so we didn’t realize this until we got plates made of sugar cane and cutlery of bamboo. Meat was good. Tried a solomillo for 11 €, the chimichurri was a very nice touch haven’t tried that before. They make their own farm bread — actually very nice bread compared to the other places we went to around Madrid. Always white bread :) Only three tables outside while all the other restaurants on this street off of Calle de la Cruz has at least five. Almost always an empty table while we were sitting there on a Thursday evening in late October with +22C outside. About 5 – 6 times an hour some street salesperson wanted to sell us some hats/flying things.

Amazing service, better food. It is very small and the owner greets you as you walk in. The servers are extremely attentive which is rare in Spain. The place is very authentic and not cheesy. The steaks cooked and sliced perfectly, accompanied by a home made fresh chimi churri sauce. To die for. Very cheap. Whole meal 25 with wine and two entrees and starter

In short, not that great. In long, portions are small and prices are high. There are only a handful of tables inside, so be prepared to sit outside in the cold or whatever weather is currently being forced upon you. Service is good but the«Duo» for 22 or 25 € or whatever it was was too pricey. The beef was overcooked and there simply wasn’t that much of it. The bread was leaning toward being stale. My husband and I split the Duo and were left hungry. One mozzarella bite and one cherry tomato on a skewer was a bit little, considering there were two of us who split the dish. The first two mojitos were good but the third was bad. I am baffled with the high ratings for this restaurant. Would not return. There are so many other places in Madrid which serve better food for less money.

let me start off by saying this was hands down the best meal we ate on our entire two week trip in Spain, Paris and Rome. I ordered the Solomillo sandwich and it was GREAT. Truly wonderful beef. All the other people in my party agreed that the food was excellent. The girls ordered Sangria and LOVED it. Nothing else on our trip compared to it. The chef and other cook in the kitchen were very nice and speedy. The food was made in a timely fashion and they kept coming over and talking to us. Very very nice people. The owner also came by and we had a conversation with him. Very nice man who chatted with us for quite some time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and I would love to go back!

By Macnolo Nos Vemos en otro check in!
