We didn’t try much from the menu, but were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the service. The host went out of his way to show us the tables he had available for us since we walkes in without reservations. The cashier was sweet and they made a big deal it being my cousin’s birthday. This was my fourth flamenco show in Spain and it simply blew me away. We had the sangria which was like nothing I have ever tasted in the States and we had beef jerky with almonds and oil, very unusual but tasty. The arroz con leche was more soupy than I’m used to. Our server was funny and very charismatic. Definitely will recommend for flamenco show.

I went there knowing it was a tourist place, but I had a really great time. The flamenco music and dancing were amazing and they accommodated my dietary needs(Celiac) better than anyone in all of Madrid. The service was great.

The traditional Madrid stew(Cocido Madrileño) here I found really good, served in the traditional way: pouring off the meat/garbanzo broth and eating first with vermicelli noodles, then having the meat and chickpeas as a second course. Liked the complements of skinny little pickled peppers and the regular table visits with the plates of cooked veggies. Sometimes in Madrid this dish is just served as one-bowl. It was about 26 €/person, including beers and drinks, on a Saturday afternoon. This means we didn’t get to see the flamenco show, but this also allowed us to save cost, too. We did make reservations for our group a few days in advance.

This place was suggested to us by our hotel concierge. We asked him to get us a reservation for flamenco dancing at 10pm so I’m sure he was limited in options. We arrived for our 10:30 reservation and had a pretty decent table, but I think most tables were not bad. The show itself was 28 euros. If you don’t want to pay € 3+ each for the bread, don’t eat it when they bring it out. Also, water is not free. The sangria was good, as is most places in Madrid. The calamari was also very good, but about € 20. We also had the crispy suckling pig(€ 20 – 22), which we also enjoyed. The bread, whether for free or € 3, was terrible so I suggest that you just not take it. Our final bill was € 128 for only 2 people. Overall, the only complaint I had was the limited service, and feeling that they were just trying to take advantage of tourists. I had a checkin offer from Unilocal that our server didn’t recognize and just ignored like I never showed him. The dancing was great, but take my opinion with a grain of salt since this was my first experience. I would absolutely recommend going to a tablao flamenco, but I’d probably suggest finding a different one to go to.

The show was the main attraction when we went as a group of 30. The guitarist were quite good and overall show was entertaining. As far as food, it was awful. There are better places where you can get Tapas and paella. Go for the show, eat some place else. Reservation is must. and getting there on time is necessary. Also walk rather than taking cab, traffic is bad in the evening and the cab drivers take advantage of driving around. We could have just got down and crossed the road to get to this place but cabby did not tell us that. He was stuck in traffice just so that he could make a U turn and take us back in other direction for 1KM.

i heard a lot about flamenco bars so this was on my to-do list while i’m in spain. this place opens at 8, i thought the show was going to start right away but we had to wait a long time after being seated because a large tour group didn’t arrive till 20 to 9. it was kind of annoying. our seat wasn’t the best either, reservations are definitely recommended since seating is limited and we sat at the corner so it was really hard to see the dancers’ foot work(which was the best part). the performers overall were really good! nice music, beautiful outfits, energetic dancers. they charge 25 euros a person, and you must buy a drink per person. their menu’s pretty overpriced as well. overall 3 stars, show was awesome, restaurant sucked.

We came here on our last night in Spain as a recommendation from our concierge. He hooked us up with a table right near the stage and we got there right on time. The atmosphere in this place is great so was the service. The food and sangria was… aight. We ordered the paelle(of course). But then again, that’s not why we were there. The show was so fun to watch. The Spanish guitar players were great. I’m sure this was very touristy of us, but I never felt so Spanish-y in my life haha.

The food was so so. The show was great. There was hardly any room to move around in. The staffwas kind of rude. Would i go again as a tourist? No. This is your typical tourist trap. The show was pretty good though. The guitarists and dancers were very entertaining. OLE!

Bodrio.
