Only came here for wine and a few tapas. Everything was delicious. We had a sampler which included different types of ham and Manchego cheese. The croquetas were amazing! We had a bottle of their house wine which was only 18 €. They did charge us for the bread basket they brought which we didn’t even eat. This is definitely a tourist trap but it is a great location to people watch at night time. The tapas we had were very good. Our main server was very attentive(can’t remember his name but I know he was Dominican). There was another gentleman who was much older and bringing the food to the table. He was not as efficient as the main waiter. We asked him for water about three times and nothing. He didn’t seem very enthusiastic to be working there. Once we asked the main waiter, he brought us out a pitcher of water in a few seconds.

I have never been caught so utterly blindsided by a tourist trap. We stopped by while waiting for our train to grab a quick plate of pasta to satisfy a craving. The pasta was fine, the paella was mediocre(though it took the traditional 40 minutes), the veal was mislabeled in English simply as beef steak. However, this was all ok. The server was even great. The bill, though, was terrible. The beer which was not on the menu we assumed would be the customary 3 € or so as at other places in the area… nope…try 7 € each for a medium sized beer. This made our bill astronomically higher than expected. Clearly this was intentionally hidden to gouge you severely. It hurt my wallet… but it also hurt my heart to be so deceived.

Lovely location in the square and the food was ok. It’s reasonably priced so can’t complain. I enjoyed some tapas dishes for afternoon lunch.
