So why did I get phở while in Spain for 2 weeks? Because I was feeling a cold come on and couldn’t think of any local hot soups. After roaming around the Royal Palace, I stumbled upon a few Asian restaurants including this one! The owner is Chinese and speaks Chinese and Spanish. After chatting with her a little bit, I learned that she just opened this restaurant last year and does all the cooking herself. I thought the fried flat noodles were great, especially with some Sriracha, but the phở was disappointing. The most important part of phở is the broth and this broth was very bland. almost like it was partially/mostly water based. There was a heavy garlic taste, which was a bit strange. I also am a believer of key ingredients like cilantro(missing) and steaming hot broth to cook the meat at the table. The phở I was served had warm broth and the meat was already well done. So, a decent stop for Asian food because of large portions, cheap price, and decent fried noodles but don’t get the phở. a few pluses are clean bathrooms and strong wifi!

I’m from San Diego and I’ve had my share of Vietnamese food. When I saw this restaurant I was thrilled to have something different from the many tapas places around. We went ballistic in ordering everything. We ordered huge servings of phở, these fried and fresh spring rolls which were to die for, fried curry rice, noodles, and the sauces were on point. It was so good we even went back the next day. The owner recognized us and she such a sweet lady. We’re in the restaurant business so we know the daily grinds of running a restaurant. But I think this lady has something special here in Madrid. I loved the food and the service!!! I want that fried spring roll recipe. Hopefully Spain catches on with Vietnamese food.

I didn’t expect much from a Vietnamese place in a tourist area of Madrid but I was pleasantly surprised! I was sick and wanted a bowl of noodle soup to comfort myself so I went into phở 26 and instantly got attracted by the aromatic smell of the food. I ordered the only phở on the menu and the soup base was well seasoned. Much better than a lot of the ones I tried in San Francisco Bay Area where I lived. The beef balls were very crunchy. The phở noodles were a medium thick kind and not the usual ones but was not soggy at all. The basil and mint on the side were very fragrant and fresh. The only thing to complain about was that the beef was not sliced but more of a thicker cut.

We were shopping around Gran Via and many of its side streets, and saw this restaurant serving phở. Decided to give it a try as one of the many places we have tried and will try for the day. The restaurant is two blocks off the Gran Via, the foot traffic substantially less than Gran Via where today it felt like walking along Nathan Road in Tsim Tsa Tsui, HK. As the purpose was just to try the phở out, ordered their #14 beef phở soup. Generous portions, phở noodles that were cooked spot on, and a piping hot tasty broth. To my surprise, they served up a decent bowl of phở. One thing to note is their basil and mint leaves were making the freshest I have had at a Vietnamese restaurant — as if it was picked right out of the herb garden.

Phở was pretty good and so were the spring rolls. My friend did complain about them not having hoisin sauce and that it did not seem very authentic. I thought it was comparable to the ones in Los Angeles. I would recommend it.

This place was as good as it was going to get with phở in Spain. If the place had hoisin sauce I would gladly change rating. Soup was good.

I got sick of eating Spanish food after being in Spain for a week so I decided to try this restaurant. The first thing I realized when I walked in was that it is owned but mainland Chinese people and not Vietnamese people. I guess that explains why when I was looking at the menu outside it was a mix of all types of Asian cuisine with Chinese dish making up the majority of the menu. That being said I ordered beef chow fun food(which is a Cantonese dish btw) instead of the Phở. It was only okay. Come here if you can’t differentiate between Asian cuisine otherwise go somewhere else.

great phở broth and clean inside. prices are average but worth the meal. only downfall is that there is only one type of phở which includes: tendon, tripe, flank, brisket and fish balls. didn’t like 3 things out of there but still great phở fix for me.

I am originally from Los Angeles where phô is huge! Tons of places to try so I feel confident when I say that this particular place was great! I ordered the only phô that they have on the menu but asked for no meat. It was so tasty! It came with the typical sides of bean sprouts, basil and mint leaves, and a wedge of lemon. The portions are great, the service was wonderful. You won’t be disappointed. I also ordered the fresh spring rolls which were light and delicious. My friend ordered the phô with the beef which of course had a different flavor than mine but it was still good. But it’s great to know that you are able to order it without meat! Oh and they also offer free wifi. Kind of hard to find in the restaurants in Madrid.

When you’re craving a warm bowl of phở on a cloudy, rainy day in Madrid this is the place to go(and even noncloudy cold days)! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The menu isn’t extensive but all you really need is a warm bowl of this phở to fill your belly. Now the phở. Compared to San Francisco phở this phở is equally as good. Portion sizes are great, especially if you’ve spent all day walking around. The noodles are actually imported from France so you don’t get those nasty noodles that you may have encountered if you’ve had phở at some other places. The beef is tender, the broth is filling and the spicy sauce makes your mouth water(if you like spicy, which I do!). This place is relatively new and the prices are reasonable for Madrid. At 8 € a bowl it’s definitely worth your money if you’re craving some authentic phở. I would definitely recommend this place. P. S. the bowl of phở also comes with meatballs but I prefer just the beef. Enjoy!
