Grosse auswahl an fisch und fleischgerichten vom grill. Ich entschied mich für fisch. Ein fehler !! Hier kommt man essen um ein steak zu geniessen. Ambiente und service gut.

me and my boyfriend went here in December 2007 and i loved the place, i had steak fajitas, and there was lots of steak and peppers in the sizzling plate and coming with 4 different kinds of sauces for me to put on them. The place is very busy but the staff are brilliant and full of fun. My boyfriend had a steak and he loved it also. Would definitely recommend this place due to the food, value for money, and staff being fantastic and good fun.

Loth as we are, when visiting Playa del’ to miss out on El Churasco Steakhouse, but we thought, discerning folks as we are, that we should maybe try out the competition, and this was it! It’s not an alfresco venue(so, minus a couple of points there!) but the windows were discreetly open to the evening air, and the aircon took up the rest of the slack. The atmosphere was relaxed and the professional organisation of the whole restaurant stopped my beloved from fretting. A fine selection of classic pop and rock bubbled from the speakers(you have no idea just how fast we can vanish when mariachi bands appear!). The tables were laid up JUSTSO, and the waiters were nicely attentive without being obtrusive(I will drive a fork through the heart of the next waiter who asks if everything is ok before I’ve had a chance to even get a morsel of food in my mouth!!). The wine list was madly impressive, and unashamedly but worthily expensive. The food, however was extremely reasonably priced and melt-in-the-mouth succulent. On several occasions we caught each other closing our eyes to savour the taste. I tried a steak-au-poivre with green peppercorns(yes, I know, it has been the beef equivalent of a Viennetta, but it richly deserves to be re-assessed), and the sauce was gorgeous, the steak again, JUSTSO and delectable. The fries were still hot and sweet and the vegetables didn’t look like they’d come out of a freezer bag! The dessert was well, serves us right for being greedy enough to tilt for a dessert! Nearly all the venues will offer by way of sweet course an ice cream variation of bombe surprise from a catering company, and this was no exception. I think they could have kept us waiting in the vague hope the desserts might have defrosted just a LITTLE, but we nearly broke our spoons trying to gain access. Not their fault, I guess, in a resort where freezers probably have to stay on OVERKILL to stop them from defrosting into murky puddles! I’m sure we will pop back there in future, as the restaurant is roughly halfway between the Yumbo and Citta Centres, and hell, we do enjoy SPOILING ourselves on holiday! Needless to say, we ambled PRETTY slowly out of there, feeling utterly replete!
