I really enjoyed experiencing the culture in Sitges — the pinxots! It was a little overwhelming, but fun to try something new. You«pinch» the little comestibles, and then they count the toothpicks when you’re done. The sangria was good, but it was better at other places we tried a later. The men behind the bar were very friendly, as well as the patrons. All in all, we found the different snacks to be a little salty, but it was fun to try this eating adventure.

This place is fantastic. Hands down the best place I tried all week. The assortment of different foods was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. Tonight is my last night in Sitges and I am definitely spending it there!

As an American I wasn’t familiar with«pintxo». I foolishly thought everything was tapas. Last year some local friends took me here. It’s an awesome place but can get crowded, only in the main part of the restaurant but there is an adjoining room with more tables. Pinxtos are foods that you pinch together with your fingers. You start by going up to the counter and filling your plate of the mass variety. Every pintxos contains a toothpick so when you are ready to pay they count the toothpicks on your plate. There is a cold section of foods and warm section. If you speak Spanish you can ask the busy person behind the counter what the item is but I don’t and I prefer being adventurous and tasting new things. Last night I gave up a rare table to family and sat at the counter enjoying my sangria and smörgåsbord of pintxos. 11 toothpicks 2 sangria € 23. Great deal. Eating here is like eating Hors d’oeuvres at a cocktail party. It does get crowded.

Very nice place popular among locals I think. I just couldn’t figure the difference between tapas & pintxos. So, I had those small treats on bread although I’d rather prefer them without. But I’m not sure they have it. Need to go back & check. Not expensive, too.

I found this place by error, I walked down the wrong street looking for a clothing store. I have been to Sitges a dozen times, during this 2 week trip after 2 weeks in Barcelona, after eating here once, I went back 2 more times. The hot and cold tapas and pintxos are on counters for one to take, when done they add up your wooden sticks that hold them up. There was so much good to eat, I had 8 the first night I was there. They are about 1.40 euro each. The glasses of wine are 2 – 3 euro, they have cava, beer and hard liquor too. Mostly locals but a smattering of tourists. Everything was so good, I had doubles of things I liked. I could not say 1 bad thing about this place. It’s a must for any visitor or local. They have tables in the back you can bring the food to sit down at.

Our favorite tapas and Pintxos restaurant that we went to in Sitges. Each bite was only € 1,50 and they had glasses of wine for € 2 – 3. What we liked was the high turnover rate of the Pintxos so there were fresh ones coming out. This place was conducive to vacation good eating while not breaking the bank. While it may be fun to sit outside and people watch, that would mean sacrificing a good spot near the food.

Locals definitely go here, off the beaten path of the beach. Great tapas for cheap, nice cold beer and cider. This Unilocal review was spot on which lead us there in the first place. Serve yourself to some delicious treats.

The tapas place where the local eat and drink. Broad selection of the best tasting tapas ever and the price is cheap too. No matter how big the price is only 1.50 euros per tapa. Amazing selection of both hot and cold tapas and they keep ‘em coming! Must try when in Sitges/Barcelona

My friends have visited Sitges every year for the past few years and they know a lot of the local places. They recommended this Tapas bar to us so we decided to give it a go. You go in and grab a table if one is free. You head up to the counter, take a plate and choose your own tapas. You can order drinks at the counter. You bring up the plates at the end– they count the cocktail sticks, add in the drinks and give you the bill. Its simple really. It was quiet the night we went in as Spain were playing in the World Cup and they dont have a tv screen. It did fill up after the match. We chose a lovely red and white wine. There were loads of cold tapas to choose from. When ourselves and a few others arrived, they started making some hot tapas which were excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The front room is very relaxing. I have passed it before and its normally rammed with locals and tourists. I will be back.
