Open 24 hours! My boyfriend and I both had burritos. You get to pick and choose what you want on your burritos, all the usuals and guac is extra. I had chicken, it hit the spot. My boyfriend had beef, with everything spicy, he was sweating a bit while eating it lol. We’re from California, so we know Mexican and spicy, we’d definitely come back to this spot. There’s not really anywhere to eat there, we took it back to our hotel. Close to the old town square and surrounding bars.

Coming from Phoenix, Arizona and traveling throughout Europe for five weeks, I definitely missed my Mexican food! This place was HEAVEN! The«kick ass burrito» was better than some burritos I could get back home. WAYBETTERTHANCHIPOTLE. Cheap drunk food, quick and delicious. I have eaten here three times in the three days I’ve been here.

Amazing localisation straight in the front of one of the busiest clubs in Prague. Good burrito, reasonable prices.

Burrito Loco, you get a gold star and a pat on the back for trying, but oh man, your burrito needs some work. I know that you may think that more/bigger is better and us silly Americans are all gluttons, but scale it back a little bit, guys. Balance is key and I was presented a fat, wide, soggy bomb just waiting to bust wide open — not balanced. The salsa juices and the beans didn’t appear to be drained, which left the interior watery and quickly tested the integrity of the tortilla. Three bites in and BOOM, I was sent scrambling for a fork with juices running down my hands as the burrito burst in several places. Not only was it messy, it just wasn’t good. Bland, chewy and capable of inducing homesickness. Burrito Loco itself is small. Very small. If you show up when we did(around 3am), you’ll find every drunk in town lined up and waiting for their fix. Any food is decent food at this point and I give them credit for not only for trying, but also for simply being open in a time of need.

How this place have 4⁄5 stars I will never know. When we approached the guy who later made our burrito was standing outside smoking. I thought he was a customer. So imagine my shock when he walked inside after us and asked me what I wanted. There was another guy who wasn’t wearing gloves who was mixing cheese in the back. Rude customer service. No English speakers. And the burritos didn’t even taste good.

Wow! I couldn’t believe that I would discover a hidden gem from Prague on a late night in the city center. Right across from M1 lounge, this hole-in-the-wall place has a really good offering for a country with a Tex Mex deficit. Tacos are cheap and burritos are massive. If you’re a westerner and are harking for Burrito or Chipotle then you must make a stop here! I would absolutely recommend this great find to anyone visiting Prague looking for a taco, even though that’s probably not a very large crowd.

Living the Prague as an American, I crave some good Tex-Mex… to be honest, Burrito Loco became a Sunday ritual for a while and kept me surviving through the winter. This is like a Chipotle, but with Prague’s Mr. Glen’s nice touch. He did a great job with these. My favorite fast food, but take a seat an enjoy place in town! Killer guac!

I’m Loco about this Burrito! Or about the quesadilla actually. Lovely place, perfect for a ‘midnight snack’ or for lunch of whatever. Fresh guac, fresh pico de gallo, fresh salsa’s, everything. You can watch your food being prepared while you wait, the cook is a friendly guy who takes great care in assembling your order and making sure you get everything you need to perfectly dress and enjoy your mexican bite to eat. We went back before leaving Prague to take some quesadillas to go :)

Wanted to get some take away not involving breaded, fried things in Prague and stumbled across this small store-front off Dlouha. Inside there is a counter where you watch your food assembled, 2 – 3 stools on one side and a friendly guy to take your order. My expectations were not high and I was especially skeptical about the salsa since it looked orange, not red. Fortunately it wasn’t mainly made of carrots or anything and actually had a nice flavor including small whole cumin seeds. Everything was of a standard somewhere above Taco Bell for sure, but less than Chipotle. The guac was the highlight — very fresh and tasty.

If you have read any of my other reviews on here, you will learn I am a total snob when it comes to Mexican food. I mean, I practically grew up in the Mission in S.F. and have been eating Tex-Mex since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It maybe one of the huge perks of being home. But I digress. This place isn’t bad. It falls into my «it will do in a bind» category. I mean I will eat there if I am craving something resembling Mexican and am not in the mood to make it myself, but it is really nothing to write home about. The beans are a weird paste like substance, the meat is bland, the guacamole is alright and the pico is actually pretty decent. On the plus side, you can get the makings to make your own at home, which is why it gets three stars. Also they have a lovely variety of Mexican beers. SCORE!!!

Bueno
