Didn’t get to try Cantina but this was amazing Mexican food in Prague. I highly recommend the beef nachos, the beef tacos with pineapple, the guac and any of the higher end margaritas

Visited based on reviews and location. Very crowded and a bit of a wait, but employees were all very accommodating despite being extremely busy. Glad we waited as the food was much better than we had expected. Highlights were nachos and tacos al pastor, and the patron margaritas.

Some say it’s the best Mexican food in Prague. I would agree it was good stuff. I didn’t give them a 5 star for two reasons… 1 I don’t like paying for water and 2 I ask for a drink and they assumed I wanted a small… When I asked for a larger size they told me it was to late

First, the service was wonderful. Compared to Mexican in the US, the price was ridiculously cheap. Chips, pico, margarita, 2 entrees… All for $ 20USD. I think that’s extremely inexpensive. Now, the food… It was standard. I wasn’t wowed by it but it wasn’t terrible either. Would I come back again, no. Not because the service and prices weren’t great but because the food wasn’t. I concur with the review of: Somewhere between Taco Bell –and chi chi’s.

Well it has been said they have the best Mexican in eastern Europe, but I guess thats like saying some restaurant has the best borscht in Fiji. I have had Mexican food in Tulum as as well as some pretty good interpretation of Mexican food at home and abroad. This was not even close. The taste ranked somewhere above Taco Bell but below Chi chi’s. The pitch of Margaret’s was weaker the the junk they serve tourists getting off the plain in Cancun at that cheesy bar near the van pickups. The service was slow and awful. We never got several of the items we ordered and they beat our walk out timer by one minute. I am guessing the waitress saw the countdown timer on our phone and got the hint. All and all it was the worst meal we had in Prague. I would recommend staying away. However given that it is in the old town square I guess they will continue to hoodwink tourist into eating there.

Found this place based on a recommendation by a fellow traveler we met in Budapest. Also found them via NYTimes as one of its recommended restaurants in Prague. The place itself is easy to miss as the sign is rather small, and located in a busy area. But once in, you will find a very charming underground Mexican spot. When we visited for lunch, the place was full and smelled amazing — we immediately knew we found the right place. The food itself was good — had the pork tacos and mango margaritas — both amazing. Who knew that authentic Mexican food can be found in Prague, of all places?! Price is also fair given the quality of food. Highly recommended.

Friendly waitress declared the menu and also recommended a dish. Very nice mango-margaritas and the food was delicious! Very tasty and fresh! This is a place I will surely get back to!

Dining date August 9, 2015 for dinner. Sat outside with high expectations after reading the reviews. I must say that I was not disappointed! Not only was the food delicious, authentic Mexican, the waiters were very friendly and helpful. They made menu suggestions to my six year old daughter and she was very happy. They even brought out some samples for her to try before she made up her mind. The waiters also were helpful in suggesting other places for us to try based on our conversion. But it was the excellent Mexican food that will have us coming back again.

Unfortunately I have to say that despite the good food and drinks, the service left us disappointed on our previous visit. We were there with a small group and were ready to pay when a bigger group arrived. The waiters seemed to get very stressed about the full restaurant, and only shoved a pen and paper in our hands and told us to count the bill ourselves as they are too busy now. We found this quite rude and think the restaurant should not take in more customers it can handle. The stressed out waiters and snappy comments don’t create an enjoyable atmosphere.

As with the VInohrady branch, the food here is quite good(I always get the tacos al pastor, which aren’t available at the others place), and while the service is maybe not quite a stellar as at the one on Americka(they do get a crapload of tourists, after all), it’s still a fine place to pop into for some chow and drinks. A bit pricey, true, but what do expect a stone’s throw from Old Town Square?

Margaritas, micheladas, tequila, Corona and Sol cerveza… what more could you ask for??? This place by far is the best Mexican I’ve had in Europe. They have corn tortillas! The menu is also vegetarian friendly and they have authentic salsas. I felt right at home when I walked in! The staff is mostly from Mexico, so it was refreshing to speak Spanish and see a friendly familiar face. Adelitas also has a great happy hour! El mejor restaurante mexicano al cual he visitado ahora que vivo en Europa. Hay como 10 margaritas de diferentes sabores, salsa con totopos, envueltos de papa, pico de gallo, micheladas con cerveza mexicana… que más quieres?!

I want to give them a better review, I really do. In the past this was a great restaurant and the one at Namesti Miru is still okay, but this visit was very disappointing. We had a reservation for 7, and we’re placed at a table that would have fit 4 comfortably. We started with 2 beers and a pitcher of margaritas with 5 glasses. The waitress brought 4 beers and 2 glasses. We told her in Czech that it wasn’t right, and we needed 3 more glasses. She huffed at us and wandered off. After waiting in vain for our glasses, we were able to flag her down and ask for the extra glasses, she told us that she had told our server and we had to wait. We were so close to the bar we could touch it and see all the glasses. After another few minutes, they finally brought the glasses. When the food came and again the order was wrong, the server came to the table and fought with one of us about what we had ordered instead of apologizing and just fixing it. I also got the feeling that they were pushing really hard for us to keep adding more thi gs to the bill. At the end they had the gall to add a 10% tip to the bill. I sure miss the old days of Las Adelitas!

I really don’t know if all the people who say this is great Mexican have really had great Mexican. First off, they have no clue how to make margaritas. My sister, mom and I each ordered one. Can you taste the tequila? Sure… Anything else? Nope. Its just tequila mixed with shaved ice. No triple sec, no flavor. Even the flavored margaritas have no flavor and the waiter admitted they just use flavored syrups in them. Also ordered some nachos that came covered in cheese(not bad) and some kind of tomato sauce(which unsurprisingly, had no flavor). By the time you got to the bottom of the plate, all you had were soggy, flavorless chips.

One of my favourite Mexican restaurants in Prague. In summer, you can sit right at Male namesti, sip mojitos and watch happy tourist crowds passing by. The waiters speak Spanish(just in case you need it), the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Due to location, there are quite a few tourists stopping by for a meal every time. The menu offer is quite big, and the food is very tasty. The waiters are friendly, but the service can be pretty slow.

Prague utilize basements very well. This place is in basement but it has plenty of space. Frozen margarita(berry or mango) was very good(around $ 6) but not much alcohol. We had two each but didn’t get much buzzed. Food was very good. Beef taco comes with beans, cactus pickles and guacamole on side. I had enchiladas but I prefer taco to enchiladas. Many people were getting nachos. It seems that all dishes come with similar portion of meat on top of tortilla, chips or inside of tortilla(enchiladas) and nachos might be a bit cheaper and bigger portion due to amount of chips. All are around or under $ 10. Good food, friendly staff and good cold drinks! PS: Check out happy our till 6 pm. Wed is lady’s night!

This is a younger«sister» of the Las Adelitas restaurant in Anglicka street. As it is the case with the other restaurant, you can feel the Mexican hospitality and Mexican touch everywhere. The décor is simple but very typical for Mexico and the food is just amazing! I absolutely adore their Burritos and even though I am a wine lover who usually only drinks wine, when I am here I from time to time also love to have a glass of their Margarita as this is simply amazing! Definitely try out this place if you want to spend some nice, relaxed time among friendly people and want to have really authentic and tasty Mexican food for very reasonable prices.

Mmm yum yum. I came here after a Unilocal event with some friends. It’s located smack in touristy Old Town so it’s definitely on the pricier side, but the food is pretty solid so I can’t complain. I ordered an guava margarita and the salmon ceviche. Marg was good and the ceviche was pretty solid – it had a really interesting fried sweet potato on top? I really wasn’t too clear on what it was but it was pretty delicious so I guess I can’t complain. Salmon was cooked – my first cooked ceviche but then again, as my friend said, you probably don’t want raw fish when you’re in the Czech Republic. Total came out to be 308kC which isn’t unreasonable but is definitely higher than what you would pay somewhere else that isn’t in Old Town.

I’m a regular in Prague for business, the tiny sign caught my attention while showing some guests around Old Town square — this is good Mexican food anywhere in the world. 1. TACOS. Fresh corn tortillas with good toppings. Great beans and spicy salsa. What more could you ask for? 2. DRINKS. The margaritas were good — not too strong and not too sweet. There was a long beer list. 3. SERVICE. The service was great, I loved to hear some Spanish and the staff was very friendly. 4. APPETIZERS. Plenty of selection of guacomole and salsas.

In my ever lasting quest to eat Mexican in every city I go to, if possible, a friend took me here. It is not bad. The portions were decent and the food was tasty. It was a little too mild for my taste, but I like my Mexican muy calienti. The margaritas are good and come in a variety of flavors and the beer is pretty reasonably priced for city center. I will be trying the one in Vinohrady as it is closer to my place, and if it is at all comparable, I may become a regular.
