The oysters are a MUST! I read the other reviews and I think the menu changes often because there were no pasta dishes. Ordered the pink lady«diamond» oysters that are 3 € each(!), but they were so mouth watering. The turbot fish was excellent. So was the tuna tartare. The scallop risotto dish was OK, as was the seared tuna. I think the oysters are a must. The fish def recommend. And the dessert! Hubby has a sweet tooth and ordered a caramel cake… Omg… Best cake ever… Had 3 marcona almonds on top. A really delicious chocolate layer and topped with the best caramel. Anyway, if you’re shopping in the area and want a bite… Try this place. It’s across from moncler.

This place is wonderful! It’s situated on the high-end street, so you can see all the high fashion when getting there :) First of all the atmosphere is exquisite, they had someone playing piano, this just made it so cosy & relaxing. Looking across the restaurant, everyone just seemed at easy & enjoying the atmosphere. The food is very good & with good portions. Thank god we ordered one starter to share because they would have not been any room for mains & dessert! Definitely a must try out !

We asked the concierge at The Hilton Old Town to recommend a nice Italian restaurant, and they booked us here. Located in the Jewish Quarter on the street with all the high end shops, Cantinetta Fiorentina serves up quality Italian fare. Though it looks like it would cost you an arm and a leg, I would say it would cost just an arm. For starters we had the burrata cheese with green and yellow tomatoes, along with the beef carpaccio. Both were very fresh, minimally seasoned, and just perfect. For my main, I ordered the caccavella pasta with a beef ragout. I didn’t realize«caccavella» translates into«one big ass pasta shell». Think of a pasta shell about 3″ in diameter, filled with a meat sauce. Though I wish it was served with smaller pasta, I was still happy with the sauce. Less carbs for my main obviously means we can do 2DESSERTS! There is no dessert menu; instead you get to choose from the pastries and cakes they have at the counter. We went for the chocolate cake and carrot cake. Both were delizioso. If it’s a nice day, I do recommend dining outside, as it’s perfect for people watching(and there are a lot of interesting characters in Praha.) With a bottle of wine our total came out to about € 60 per person. Though pricey, Migs and I didn’t mind it so much, considering the Italian food in Singapore can be a lot more expensive and not as good quality. Definitely a great venue to celebrate a special occasion or for a dinner splurge!
