After a week of not having any Unilocal reviews because for some reason Unilocal is still not in Hungary I couldn’t wait to get to Prague and start checking in and writing reviews. Now to be honest I could have written a review or two but Budapest was so much fun I didn’t really even try. Now that Unilocal is fully functional in Prague no excuses remain. We found this Thai and Japanese fusion place down the street from our hotel. We were debating between a pizza place and this one and took a flyer on COA. Food was pretty good and service was on point. We ordered the pad Thai spicy and red curry with prawns and white rice. Prices are all in Czech Kronos and figuring the conversion takes a few but they help you out with a final euro figure. Prague I am guessing is a hidden gem just like Budapest and as soon as the Euro becomes the official currency my guess is prices in both cities will skyrocket so enjoy these places before they become the next Paris.

I have to say I was dissapointed. I appreciated the modern design of the restaurant and I have been expected a lot from the food. I think that the service was quick, however, slightly unprofessional. The waiter brought menu and asked what we want to drink straight away. That causes nervosity and pressure which leads to fast decision withkut thinking. I have been lucky as I ordered a ginger tea and I was content with the service of the tea. The food was really dissapointing. We have tested a pumpkin soup and a chicken Phở bo soup. The pumpking soup was broth because of adding too much water in it which defects the taste and experience from eating. Phở bo was not flavoured enough so you basicly ate noodles with chicken in hot water. To sum up I would not recommend to eat these two meals there and find a better place where you can get much better food for lower price. However there were a lot of reservations and business meetings so maybe there is a special food which is very good.

Such a stylish and at the same time cosy Asian restaurant right opposite Palladium. A great place for enjoying a relaxed dinner and drinks with friends or for grabbing a quality takeaway to go. My favourites include mango curry, fried rice with chicken and of course the homemade ginger ice tea and mango lassi.

I have to say that this place really has very pleasant atmosphere and I really like the design but when it comes to food, I am not that sure. I have been to Coa a couple of times and I did have a few truly outstanding meals, especially their noodles but also some really poor. For sure, do not ever opt for take-away with this place as this was the time when the quality was the worst. In my opinion the place is overpriced and not good value for money. I am willing to pay such prices when the level of service is high and the meals are truly tasty but this is not the case. I believe that they are charging higher prices because thanks to its central location and really attractive exterior people feel tempted and come in. For me, however, it is not a place I would recommend.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for quite awhile ever since I first saw it across from the Palladium. I arrived around thirty minutes after they opened for lunch(11:30am) and there were actually quite a few people who were already around. I ordered something off of their special menu – fried udon with turkey steak for 149kc. The dish was actually pretty good. The noodles were in some sort of sweet and source esque sauce, and the turkey steak was nicely sliced up. Lots of delicious veggies in the dish as well. I was looking through the main menu and most of the things are definitely on the more expensive side. An entrée easily costs at least 200+ kc. So pretty decent food, but not worth the price in my opinion. It’s definitely very hip and trendy looking though. Waitresses speak English which certainly made my life easier since the menu is only in Czech save for a few words that I guess are difficult to translate from English to Czech.

Quite big Asian restaurant located next to Kotva and opposite to Palladium shopping mall. The menu consists of several typical Asian dishes including Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese soups, rolls, noodles and meat with rice. However, the selection isn’t big. Choice of sushi is even smaller and in my opinion overpriced looking at what they offer. But the prices in general are average, and the food is tasty and served pretty fast. The waiters are friendly, too. The place is nicely decorated in modern style, you can choose between long tables with benches next to the big windows facing Revolucni street or comfortable sofas with pillows further inside the restaurant. There’s also a good energetic, but not annoying music playing from the dynamics.
