The John Lennon pub is a very nice pub to grab a quick drink of absinthe and continue on with your sightseeing adventures with a little bit of liquified courage. This pub is actually very nicely done and the service is above average especially considering the location. The pub is an extremely quick walk away from the John Lennon wall and usually boasts a significant amount of people grabbing drinks. Overall, not a bad spot to throw down a couple and enjoy the ambiance. Pros– Drinks Absinthe Service Ambiance Beer selection Burgers and sausage Cons– Can get crowded

This place was a lot of fun! The server was very attentive and answered all of our questions about different beverages. We ended up doing three shots of Absinthe and the rest is history. No joke, three shots of that stuff and we were set for the night! If you’re near the John Lennon Wall this is a great spot to pop in for a drink or two. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the drinks were good.

I had a great goulash soup in a bread bowl. Lovely outdoor garden which was full when we visited for lunch. Homemade sausage was also great. And if it couldn’t get any better, some kind people paid for our meal before we went to pay! Well executed café/restaurant and not just a place for John Lennon fans!

Dining date August 12, 2015 for lunch. Good burgers and sausage dishes for a quick lunch. Beer selection includes the usual Czech beers, plus a good choice or English and American bottled beers. The place is loaded with Beatles memorabilia and is only a few steps from the Lennon Wall. Service was timely and friendly. I wish they had air conditioning!

The wait staff is amazing. The food is pretty good but nothing special. A must for any John Lennon or Beatles fan

Easily the most underrated pub and restaurant in Prague. Visited in the end December between the holidays, every venue is pretty packed and staff is usually running on E. Talk about under promising and over-performing. After spending 3 days in Prague this was the first place that had a very friendly and accommodating staff that was happy to see you. Besides the staff the beer was cold and the food was great. Ordered the specialty skewer for 2. Was expecting a simple BBQ shishkabob but was blown away by the presentation. I’d highly recommend not only the meal but the restaurant to anyone. Plus who doesn’t need a little more Beatles music in their life?

What a cute pub! This little hidden away pub was delightful. We sat outside in the ‘yellow submarine’ and enjoyed a couple beers. They have several local beers available, but we had the Gambrinus, which was good. Give this place a try, I think you’ll like it.

Down the street and some from the Lennon Wall lies the John Lennon Pub. This placed housed a lot of cool art work a la the Beatles, John Lennon, as well as London/UK type things such as a red telephone booth. The waitress was nice and very fast with our meal — I had dumplings and duck in a strange type of sweet sauce, but was very good! My friends enjoyed a variety of food from pasta to fish’n’chips and all seemed to enjoy it!

Une seule chose à dire: I’ll be back!
