Our first night in Prague, we are wandering around looking for some dinner and a very friendly lady encourages us to come in and eat. We were not disappointed. We tried a variety of Czech food. It was all fantastic and well prepared. Service was great. Staff was very helpful. The building is lovely, looking from the second floor over the plaza. We thought the food was very reasonably priced. Entress with soup and large beers, $ 32USD. Greg’s entrée was a sampling of assorted Czech dishes enough for 2 people. We are glad we stopped In!

I was here in August 2014. Food was not bad but I had a bad experience here from the staff in the restaurant. I sat in the outdoor seating area in the public square but apparently it’s a different restaurant than the actual «storefront» even though they have the same name and logo. (The rude staff was from the actual storefront restaurant.)
Save yourself the hassle; go to another restaurant. There are many in the square. They also automatically added 20% tip which is astronomical in Prague. 10% is considered generous in Prague. I had the waiter lower the tip

I ate at this place two nights in a row! It’s pricey in the sense that there is food cheaper, but considering you are sitting outside with a great view of the Old town Square– I think it’s fair. I can’t remember exactly how much I paid, but I’m sure that it was less than 30 for a soup, 2 beers, a shot of Berchekov (sp??), and the beef goulash with dumplings! I ate here in November, so it was pretty cold, but they have heaters and such outside that make it pretty doable.

We walked by the old town square on the way back to our hotel and there was a huge orchestra concert happening, so we got a seat in this restaurant, which had seats right in the centre of the town square and set to order. I had a pasta that was really delicious, which was surprising considering this place is in of itself a tourist attraction. At any rate, eating good food while enjoying the concert is not so bad. The server was great too. No complaints. Enjoyed the whole experience!
