Really enjoyed the selection of beers and the information about each in the menu. Got a 10 beer taster flight and found a couple beers that were fantastic. It’s definitely a spot for tourists but it’s one of few places we found to get a good IPA. We ordered some tapas which were fine but nothing amazing. Staff were generally prompt and if not overly friendly, at least not surly.

Bad choice for non-smoking person. Tourist-oriented, but have a good selection of beer.

This is a really cool spot to hang out at when you visit Prague. They have a great selection of beers, good food and its inexpensive. Outdoor patio is cute and great for a group of friends who tend to get a little loud once the liquor hits the system. And they’re open until 3am. Will be back.

They have a large selection of Czech beer. I had a Lager that was pretty good. At 10.30pm when I arrived and ordered the food menu was very limited. I had some pickle sausages, which were ok, but nothing special. The service was very slow and I had to wait 15 minutes to order. This is most definitely a place to have a beer and not food. In summer they also have a really cool patio/beer garden.

Too many beers to try, but feel free, it’s cheap. Good mix of people, good vibe, good place to start. If you’re not from Europe and don’t smoke, this place is good in short doses.

This place is so much fun if you don’t mind smelling like a pack of cigs by the end of then night. This place is super touristy, but locals can be found here as well. I had to stand awkwardly next to the bar for a couple of minutes because it gets pretty packed at night but I eventually found seats. There is a great selection of beer here, obviously. I couldn’t decide on which beer I wanted so I ordered them all by ordering a flight of 10. The only thing about the beer museum that I didn’t love was that it’s definitely priced for tourists. If you’re looking for a cheap place to hang out with friends you’ll have a better time going somewhere else.

The largest selection of beers I’ve seen in Prague so far! They offer a whopping 25 different tap beers ranging from lager to strout and IPA! The staff is very warm and friendly, the place is usually filled with persons and sometimes can be tricky to get a spot on certain nights out. There is no non-smoking area so if that is a no go for you, it is a shame because they do offer quality service. If you want beers then go there and order the tester so they bring you small doses of different beers at a time allowing you to try all the different local beers from local craft breweries.

The staff was great and the beers were good. If I am tasting beers I like to smell them first, but in this place that is pretty difficult with the amount of smoke in the air! A bitchin high power hepa system would give this place the edge. In all, a great place to try a lot of local beers in a short amount of time.

I regret not having more time here. As a beer lover they don’t disappoint. Great selection and you can get a tasting tray. Place is busy but you can reserve a table. Great atmosphere and service is good. Cash Only so be warned.

I gave this place 5 stars even though person next to us was a chain smoker. It isn’t their fault that I just arrived in Europe and we don’t have this in California. It is my only complaint. The place down the road, Lokal, actually has non smoking sections. I didn’t know it at the time and the smoke doesn’t stop at the sign…(but the beer is better here.) What was here was amazing! They had so many types of beers made here in the Czech Republic. Even IPAs – a number of IPAs actually. We all tried samples and shared, then had a pint of our favorite. That was a great way to experience so many beers. I was told that I wouldn’t like the beer in Europe and I wouldn’t like the wine in Spain and I can say, «oh no my cherie, I do, I do!» I just loved the beer here at the Beer Museum! People say in reviews that this isn’t a museum… hah! I disagree. There were so many beers– along with a book telling you all about each beer as well. Photos too, lol. I love beer museums and in Spain, Jamon museums as well. Food comes from a street vendor down the road, it is bar food if you are really hungry but that is all. Eat first then come for the beer.

Soo not a museum– but we love craft beer and this is the only place we went to that offered anything other than the same handful of beers. They had a huge selection, get a flight to taste 6. The women servers were not friendly, one did suggest a few beers. Go to try some delicious Czech beer. I had a chocolate stout that was really tasty.

The term Museum is definitely not applicable to this place. This is a pub, albeit a pub with a huge beer selection, not a museum. Also, it gets ridiculously hot in here in the summer. If you can’t get a patio seat, think about going somewhere else. There’s a huge selection of beer, so come here to try as much as you can. They’ve got a really good deal for getting 5 beers in sample sizes to taste. Don’t order the food. It’s mediocre, plus the pub doesn’t have a kitchen so it’s all ordered in from somewhere else. The waitress was rude, and our orders were messed up several times. The only plus side was that everything was reasonably cheap.

Came to try some beers during our night out. We had 2 rounds of a flight of 5 beers. The waitress spoke english and seemed very knowledgeable in what we were looking for(a variety of beer). We tried some dark, strawberry, blueberry, honey, light, and etc. For sure strawberry and blueberry smells reminded me of children’s toothpaste but of course they don’t taste like such :) Velen was our favorite, a must-try if you’ve never had it. It was also our waitress’s favorite and I mean, even the wifi password is velen :) Although wifi wouldn’t connect for us, we didn’t mind. There were beers in front of us!

I love this place. It was on my list of things to do after visiting a year ago. They have a HUGE selection of Czech beers from small to large breweries. The beers are cold and the prices are right(about $ 1.50 for a beer!). The staff is very friendly and will help you with any questions. The beer garden out back is perfect In the summer months.

This is one of those places that I think probably depends heavily on the time of day you visit. I see all of these reviews saying that it’s for a younger crowd, but we didn’t find that at all. Of course, we were drinking mid-afternoon, so maybe that’s when senior citizens come to sample some beers. The staff was really friendly and helpful. All of the beers were great. You can choose from their massive binder. Do a tasting flight — it works out to be so cheap, there is absolutely no excuse. If you’re worried about being overwhelmed by a younger crowd, maybe try afternoon. Day-drinking is where it’s at, anyways. We also sat in the smoking section. While it’s not the most well ventilated, there’s a lot more space back there and we found it really comfortable to hang out and drink beer for a few hours. I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone there.

Mostly for the younger crowd! Came on a Tuesday night and this place was packed! My friends and I eventually found a table for 5. I feel like this place is understaffed because we didn’t get help till we flagged a server down. j recommend sampling a few beers(either 5 or 10) and then deciding which one you want. I loved the Ferdinand Sedm Kulí! It’s an amber lager. Highly recommend! I’m not a frequent beer drinker and I would be the last one to be asked about beer recommendations but trust me, this beer is good! They have a good selection of music playing as well but the noise level cancels out the music anyways. If you’re in Praha, you should definitely check this place out!

Total, total, total bummer that this place left more than a little to be desired, especially since it was next door to my hotel… like, right next door. Too close for comfort. The staff was rude and incredibly cranky across the board. From the girl cleaning the display case to the handful of bartenders pouring drinks, the welcome was never warm but at least the beer was cold. Oh yeah, «beer museum» is a term to be used very loosely. Don’t expect to walk into a wrold of history with beer artifacts or an educational journey — the Prague Beer Museum is a pub, nothing more, nothing less. If you have a hankering for a few cold ones served with a lukewarm attitude and the desire to smoke two packs of cigs secondhand style, this place is right up your alley!

Can’t complain except for the smoke. Good selection of beers that rotates every so often. The menu has an exhaustive description of all of the 30-odd beers on tap which is always nice. They offer .15l flights which is a great way to work your way through the menu, provided you have the time. Flights are priced per beer — i. e you get a sampler of each beer eater than just paying a flat rate for the flight. I walked in, sat down and had my beers in front of me in about 10 minutes. The staff are helpful and all speak excellent English. Free wifi is also available for customers. Definitely worth a visit if you have an evening to kill.
