If you like beer at all, just do it. Great way to spend an hour in Prague. Make sure to reserve in advance.

WOW! I’m a big fan of this spa! A friend booked us a surprise beer bath during our stay in Prague and it was awesome! It was an amazing experience having a beer bath and being able to drink a nice cold beer while in the bath! The hay bed was also super cool, it’s comfortable and I was able to take a little nap while there haha lol I recommend that to everybody! Note: the skin actually feels softer after the bath!

Such a unique experience! When you are over sightseeing and have had enough of souvenir shopping, I definitely recommend checking out Spa Beerland. It’s something I probably wouldn’t do at home, but really enjoyed doing while on vaycay. Walking in, we were greeted by the very friendly girl working the front desk, and immediately given mugs to fill up with the beers they had on tap. The place was very clean and cute and they have an assortment of beer soap and the like to purchase. Shortly thereafter, our beer hand came to escort us downstairs to a private room where she explained how everything worked, filled up our barrel, set a timer for one hour, and then left us be. In that hour, you get to soak in a warm bubbling barrel of hops, barley and magical beer blended goodness, relax in a sauna, shower off with beer soap and a bucket of cold water, and then lay in a bed of hay… which is comfier than you might think, all while sipping on unlimited beer from the taps in the room. Oh and there was bread and butter. The jets in the barrel automatically stopped after 30ish minutes, so you knew when to distribute your time without having to keep an eye on the clock, which was convenient since I was so relaxed I probably would have lost track of time and spent most of the hour soaking. For the hour, I think it was about $ 150 usd for the two of us which is a little pricey and not something I would have done back home, but… when in Prague… right? We probably actually stayed in there an hour and 15 or so after hitting a mental snooze once the timer buzzed and then getting dressed and cleaned up, but we were not rushed out and there wasn’t even a knock at the door. Afterwards, we hung out in the lobby for 20 minutes or so, taking advantage of the unlimited beer and just shaking off the haze that comes with an hour of mindless relaxation.

A memorable experience with beer! I highly recommend a visit if you are a beer lover(but then you should be if you are visiting Prague). Yes, it is not cheap(around $ 60 per person) but boy, you get the following: 1) unlimited pilsner which was good! 2) two slices of dense bread to eat with your brews. 3) a private room with a jacuzzi tub that contains beers and hops! The whirlpool lasts 25 minutes. 4) 30 minutes post jacuzzi laying on a straw bed(sheet provided). It was very relaxing. Ahhhhh… The only downside is you are not supposed to shower for 5 hours afterwards so the hops soak into your pores. Therefore, you reek of beer and grains get stuck in your clothing. Staff were very friendly, kept the place clean, and spoke English. The location is good, right across from the Sheraton.

For 3000 crowns, we spent an hour in a private suite/cave: soaking in a tub of hop-based bath salts, relaxing in a sauna, and then showering and relaxing on a bed of hay(!) and enjoying beer bread… all with unlimited beer on tap… totally worth it. The place is just across the street from the Sheraton. They also sell all sorts of beer-based bath products.
