I stayed in an apartment on Vaclavske Namesti for a week and visited this busy Starbucks three times. I was always greeted by a guy with a big smile and by the third visit he remembered both my drink(soy chai latte + one shot) and my name! Also, even though my Czech isn’t great and the staff are all fluent in English, they patiently listened to and responded to me in Czech(which is rare when I try to practice my Czech in Prague). This made my Seattle-born heart proud to see an international chain do things so right on the local scene(even if it’s expensive for Prague).

This Starbucks was around the corner from my hotel and it ended up being the perfect place to hang out until my room was ready for check in. Due to the fact that all of the seating is location upstairs, I didn’t feel that weird stigma attached to showing up at a Starbucks at 11am, ordering 1 drink and a pastry, and then planting myself in front of my laptop for the next 4 hours. (It is entirely possible that this stigma is in my head, and that this is typical Starbucks behavior internationally, but I’m glad that I didn’t have to think about it.) Also, they had wi-fi and outlets.

Great place to rest your feet and relax. Lots of seating upstairs. Good location right in new town. Wish there were a few more couch type chairs but other than that can’t complain too much.

Free wifi and lots of seating up the stairs. Wish they had more comfy seats, mostly just wooden chairs and tables. Bathrooms were clean but you’ll need a code from your receipt to get in. Iced coffee was stronger than in the US, more like an iced Americano.
