Had lunch here after visiting the National Museum. Solidly well prepared cafeteria menu. Good draft beer and lemonade. Price is very reasonable. Not a tourist trap and is patronized by locals. Will return for an early dinner prior to a show at the State Opera House later in the week.

A very cool self-service place right next to the Muzeum metro station and close from the Main Train station. Thanks to its location and spacious, friendly interior it is a great place for business as well as casual meetings. It is also a great choice if you just want to go have a coffee on your own in order to study or read.

What a fantastic place for a snack or a simple meal hidden from the crowds! Spacious with modern furniture but it still respects the history of National Museum building. Their trademark is traditional Czech bread with a modern twist. Tuna, ham and cheese, bacon is just beginning. From the spreads you name it, they have it: grilled peppers, blue cheese, herring or ham. I had a small tuna and it was awesome. You can take their bread home per kilo if you like it. It looks like they are paying attention to the detail not only with the bread. Doubleshot coffee, home made lemonade, fresh cookies and puddings all looked amazing. Their prices are also reasonable for this part of town. It’s a canteen style, so you go to the counter to take your food. Both gentleman serving me were very nice and friendly although I came right before the closing on Friday evening. Can’t wait to be back!
