Great Czech food for a decent price! Wait staff was a bit curt, but that seems to be the norm in Prague. We had the Schnitzel and Goulash — both were great!

Really pleased with the service and food! Our server Martin was attentive and great at recommending beer and chatting with us about Prague! Will definitely be back next time we come to Prague!

3.5 stars. Very traditional Czech restaurant. It feels more like you’re in a Czech grandma’s home than a restaurant right down to the old school table settings. The beef goulash was good as was the traditional homemade potato soup. I thought overall it was a nice introduction to traditional style Czech food. It will also fill you up. Water is additional and the liter we purchased wasn’t enough for two because as you might know, Central European food is on the saltier side. It is also open late which was perfect for us because our flight got in late. The location is a bit obscure but it is right near the Clarion hotel. If you’re in a pinch and would like to take a solid foray into Czech food, I’d give U Cerveneho kola a try.
