We stopped here one afternoon and cooled off with a glass of chilled ginger lemonade after visiting Prague Castle/St. Vitus Cathedral. This café is mellow, charming and dimly lit which is perfect if you want to relax with a cold beverage. The bistro tables are topped with a cotton quilted placemat and sugar bowls in pottery. All of us sat facing out to watch people and the view on this hilly street. The ginger lemonade was indeed homemade with just the right amount of ginger flavor, not too sweet, and probably good for your health too. My friend liked it a lot and bought another glass to go. It’s on the left side of the street when you head up to Prague castle.

A very nice and cosy tea-room on the way to Prague Castle obviously attracting many tourists. They have a great choice of tea, delicious sweets(honey cake, halva, baklawa and nougat cubes) and a few snacks. They also offer beer and wine. The prices aren’t low, but average. In addition, you can buy there some books and hand-made pottery. The place is small, but wasn’t ever crowded when I was visiting.
