Friendly and accommodating staff however food is run of the mill and coffee or anything behind the bar is made wrong or burnt. Pricing does not match quality. Visit was between Christmas and New Years, places are pretty packed and staff is running on Empty despite this staff here was great. Good atmosphere as well with a nice Piano Guys playlist running the show.

The staff is friendly, professional, and accomodating. They were very attentive and showed us true Prague hospitality. The venue is beautiful, yet travelers can sit down to a lunch in casual clothes. After a long day of touring the streets of Prague, Cfe Mozart was like an Oasis! The beef carapaccio and the chicken caesar salad were TODIEFOR.

We sat outside for about 15 minutes but no one came to wait on us so we went next door. The location is great since it is right infront of the Clock.

A friend and I were vacationing in Prague and saw an advertisement outside this restaurant for ‘dinner and jazz.’ Curious o check out the jazz scene in Prague, we paid 1100 Czech crowns each(approx 60US dollars) for this dinner/jazz combo. Not only were the only non-couple attendees, there were only 6 other people in attendance. The musicians were one vocalist and one saxophonist who were both mediocre at best, and the music could be described better as easy listening/lounge music than jazz. Think ‘My Way’/‘Moon River’/‘Fields of Gold.’ The food was just ok. My dessert(the sachertorte cake) was pretty dry. My biggest complaint with this place, however, was the service. I asked for tap water at the outset of ordering, which our water refused to serve us. So I said no worries and proceeded to pour the bottled water I had with me into one of the glasses which he seemed to have no qualms about. A while later, I was refilling my glass with more bottled water when a different waiter came out of nowhere and starting yelling at me loudly and started making accusations like — ‘what, you can’t afford 60 korunas?’ It was seriously out of line, especially when I had asked for tap water which they refused to serve me. I was embarrassed for the guy. He made a scene in front of all the other patrons. Not only should they warn people that their version of ‘jazz’ is not really jazz & is best suited to an over 50 crowd, they should try not to scare off their customers by jumping down their throats for asking for tap water. Geez…
