She is very kind and polite and doesn’t scold or lecture but she will provide the needed health info and work with you to meet your goals in ways that work for you. The office itself can be a little slow to refill prescriptions (a couple days to a week or more), but the wait usually isn’t too bad and Dr. Nelson is a pleasure to have as a doctore. On a related note, i have seen some other doctors there when i have been sick and needed to come in and they were all great as well.

— She actually reads the forms you just spent 30 minutes filling out.
— She actually sits down and looks you in the eyes when she is in the room with you.
–She listens to you and does not talk over you.
I have found these things are very rare in doctors. Dr. Nelson is one of the best doctors I’ve met. She is respectful of your time and attentive to your concerns. She is easy to talk to and understand. She does this while still getting you in and out in a reasonable amount of time.
