I wanted so badly to like this place because I love bagels, but even two stars is a stretch. I got an everything bagel with Ham and havarti, lettuce and mayo. The bagel itself was just okay. I’ve had better everything bagels at most area grocery stores or chain bagel places. The sandwich was dripping with mayo and the ham and cheese would slide right off. I was hoping so badly this place would be like the east coast bagels i grew up with, but it wasn’t even close.

We paid $ 22 for a bagel sandwich, a breakfast burrito, a small coffee and a large coffee. I had the New Yorker on the works bagel and it was just ok. The bagel was a bit hard and the cream cheese overpowered the rest of the ingredients. My bf had the breakfast burrito with ham but I didn’t try it so I can’t give a review on it. They serve java gold coffee which is a family owned brand so kudos to Goldstein’s for supporting family businesses. The staff is friendly and courteous and they offer free Wi-Fi.

This place at first seemed promising. I’m always in search of a place that can serve a good sausage breakfast burrito. I mean, how hard can it be, people? Eggs, sausage, taters, cheese, salsa, and tortilla. Not complicated. But, hardly no one can get it right. And the main crime practically everyone commits is that they are just too lazy to cook it well enough. The usual violation is that the sausage is barely cooked. People trying to kill me. However, here they decided to serve me a sausage burrito with hash browns that were hardly warmed up. I mean, still stiff and cold. I went through the drive-thru and was even asked to pull over in the back. Meaning, they could have taken the time to cook it right. I’m in no hurry. Never coming back. The search continues.

Fresh bagels made in house and a real kitchen(proper griddle and proper grill) for a well done bagel sandwich or even non bagel hot dishes. Helpful service that can quickly answer questions and make it right.

I drive to Goldstein’s bagels all the way from Hollywood because their bagels are absolutely fantastic. They remind me of the quality bagels I had when I was in New York years ago. Always fresh, delicious and satisfying. Funny enough, I always go for the New Yorker on a Works bagel. They’re in a word, SUPERB! I realize there’s a closer location to me, living in Silver Lake in La Cañada but I choose to visit this location because the staff here, I think their names were Karen, Nancy and Jackie were very personable, very friendly and made me feel like a long lost friend. That right there, has kept me loyal to this location although If their other location is as good as this one, loyalty is the least of Goldstein’s problems for sure!

I always drive by your place — today I thought I stop by and get some bagels. As much as I love to support the local small businesses, I felt these bagels I bought were small, very rubbery and not very tasty at all. They did not slice my baker’s dozen bagels(and instead gave us a few plastic knifes). Its impossible to cut the rubbery bagel with these knifes. The price for the bagels was also very expensive. Honestly, choose Panera for better bagel, better service and cheaper price.

I was in town visiting family this past week. And we stopped by to grab some breakfast before the airport Saturday. This place is awesome! And the workers were so helpful. I believe the guy helping us was ian. He was so helpful and when my husband couldn’t figure out what to get, Ian told him that he would make him something good and to trust him. Boy was he right! Best bagel he’s had! Love this place. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

Fresh bagels made daily. They also have a full kitchen for customer to order food. Whether if it’s a toasted bagel with cream cheese to a full service breakfast & lunch menu, they have it here. Tons of varieties for you to choose from. Free wifi for customers to use while dining in. Love this place.

Tried this place for the first time today. Always heard these are the best bagels. Ordered two egg sandwich bagels and a strawberry sweet round. There was nothing spectacular about this sandwich. It was okay and I’ve had better from other places. What really disappointed me is that my boyfriend had egg shells in his sandwich. How can you serve food that has shells in it? Haven’t yet tried the sweet round, so nothing to comment there.

Goldstein’s is now an Einstein’s bagels. The bagels are good although not outstanding. Nice choice of cream cheese«shmears». The fruit salad was comprised of tasteless melon and what appeared to be canned pineapple. Cookies were good. My biggest complaint is about delivery service. We ordered a pre-packaged assorted of bagels, shmears, fruit and cookies. Delivery scheduled for 1245−100p. Arrived at 135p AFTER we called to inquire at 105p. No call to let us know. No real apology — just we’re running behind. The delivery was a little over a mile away. Catering should be delivered early, not 30 – 45 minutes late.

My little one wanted bagels so we went here. They have a wide selection of bagels and flavored cream cheese. Besides bagel, they also serve breakfast plates, french toast, burgers, fries, sandwiches, and wraps. I’ve ate here twice, today, I ordered via the Drive Thru. After ordering, one of the staff asked me to park in the back and someone will bring the food out. I was happy we didn’t wait long. :Drinks: Two Orange Juice please … I thought I was getting freshly made Orange Juice but I didn’t. Instead they gave me a bottle of Ocean Spray. :Food: I got the Egg Sandwich, I choose Egg Bagel, it comes with two eggs, cheese, and bacon(choice of bacon, ham, sausage). The bagel was hot but very bland. My daughter wanted toasted Plain Bagel with Cream Cheese. While opening the wrapped bagel, it was messy and they put a lot of cream cheese; it was oozing out. The bagel was not fully toasted as well. If I do come back here again, I’ll remember to say light on the cream cheese. I also ordered two Egg Bagels. The bagels were hard so I didn’t even eat them; I threw it away; I was disappointed. ( ) ( ) :Rating: 2.5 Stars and rounding it to 3. I ate here before but I forgot what I ordered. My first visit wasn’t as disappointing as my second visit. :M’Notes: ~Drive Thru ~Parking lot ~Inside seating ~Catering available

Accessing this place during construction is difficult as they have no signs pointing to the access roads out back. I was craving a bagel this morning and searched Unilocal for a good looking bagel joint and this appeared to be my best option. I waited at the counter for almost ten minutes before I was even addressed. They took a piecemeal order from a group of three. This took several more minutes and could have been handled in much less time. When they finally got to me I was told they’re out of bacon for the day. The bagel sandwich place is out of bagels.

I got the breakfast plate to go. They forgot plastic silverware, forgot the jelly, and my toast was burnt

I stopped by for breakfast since I had some time before work. I ordered the Egg wrap. And first I thought it looked a little greasy but it was very cheesy so It could be delicious! Boy was I wrong. It had a brick of «egg», «Egg product»? Who knows what it was but it was definitely not a scrambled egg like it was supposed to be. The wrap part of it was a bit dry and stale, the cheddar and herb cream cheese had sunk to the bottom of the wrap. It just wasn’t good at all. Not going back that’s for sure.

A location that everyone should try once, at least. next to In-N-Out, this place has seen some stiff competition. Though, because bagels and burgers are different enough(despite the fact that Goldstein’s DOES have a bagel burger) that In-N-Out doesn’t take away ALL of the customers.

I had the Lox and cream cheese in onion bagel. The salmon was so fresh, silky and buttery. The sweetness of the cream cheese and hint of saltiness from the capers and in the bagel itself all complimented one another. I felt like I was eating a birthday bagel cake. Topping it off, the fresh hot coffee washed it all down nicely after every bite of my bagel dessert. Carb goodness all worth it!

Came by here on Saturday morning a little before 10:30 am with my husband for a late breakfast. Luckily we were able to get parking in their little lot in the back(street parking is also available). When we walked inside, there was no one in line so we ordered right away. This is what we got: Fairfax, $ 6.99 prior to tax– The Fairfax is a bagel sandwich with your choice of bagel, that comes with lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, alfalfa sprouts and capers. I opted for the tomato basil bagel, toasted. This bagel sandwich was quite filling and pretty spectacular. The employee who made my bagel sandwich did not skimp on the cream cheese(there was too much for me that I had to scrap some off), nor the other toppings. Wished there was a little bit more salmon though. This breakfast sandwich was pretty filling and I should have just had half instead but it was just too good(but not good for you) to stop eating. Big Breakfast Burrito, $ 6.69 prior to tax– This burrito is made to order and you have your choice of meat(bacon, ham, sausage, chili, pastrami). My husband opted for the pastrami. True to it’s name, this is a pretty big burrito with 3 eggs, hash brows and cheese. My husband only had half of it and saved the other half for the next day. The burrito itself was good, but oily(typical and expected). Nothing really wowed myself or my husband by this burrito and probably would order something else off the menu the next time we come. — — — — — — — — — — — (Total= $ 14.28 after tax) Service was pretty quick, along with wait time. There is some seating inside this place, along with free WiFi. There is quite a selection of bagels to choose from(They also have day old bagels you can purchase for a discounted price). This place also servers more than just breakfast. You can also order burgers and wraps for your typical lunch fare. And lastly, this place is located really close to In N Out if you are looking for this place.

It’s always nice to know the business still does just as great as before. I used to pick up or have them deliver to the office. It was such a change of pace that I can come in and sit down to enjoy my own custom bagel and a cup of coffee. Lox and a cranberry bagel is how I roll. The coffee is not your weak ass Denny’s or IHOP watered down version of dirty water. This is going to be a good cup of coffee kind of taste. That’s if you are a coffee drinker. Otherwise, there are fountain drinks to the right or freshly brewed tea. Everyone zips in and out so plenty of tables to choose from. I would stop here again any morning I need something quick and easy.

I was really intrigued by this place due to the fact that they have a drive thru… and who doesn’t love fresh bagels?! Unfortunately, this morning was a disappointing experience and I likely won’t be back. First off, beware that the check-in offer is BUY3 get 3 free. Of course it seemed too good to be true to get 3 without any conditions, but once in awhile a place will give freebies to promote their business. What REALLY turned me off though was that the girl I was ordering from(at the drive-thru) was not even sure about the deal and we agreed that I would check-in when I got to the window so she could see it. I ordered 4 bagels(I was going to buy 1 and get 3) and a milk. She repeated my order incorrectly so I corrected her… but that happens. When I got to the window and clicked the check-in, that was when I saw that I had to buy 3. Okay fine, no big deal I’ll order a couple more. BUT she also thought I had ordered a small coffee. I definitely I didn’t do that because I don’t drink coffee. Plus, remember when we repeated the order earlier? Too many awkward uncomfortable moments at 7am after an hour commute! BAGELS…I ordered 2 wheat cinnamon raison, 1 cranberry, 2 blueberry, &1 banana nut. The wheat cinnamon raison was a «specialty» one that was HALF the size of the others(see photo) but more expensive! It was also hard/dense, seemed stale and lacked flavor. The others look really good but I haven’t tried them. I like that the bag tells you the ingredients they use. However, I think it is unnecessary to compare themselves on the bag to other reputable bagel brands… seems a bit tacky.
