Of all the bagel restaurants, Einsteins is by far the best. The bagels are always fresh and the smear is delicious. This location is cool because it next to so many other stores. I enjoy getting up on a Saturday morning and heading to Einsteins for for delicious breakfast treats.

Such a great place to come to pick up some unique bagel flavors! Their smears are not like the«whipped cream cheese» in stores! They are much fluffier and flavorful! I recommend the sun dried tomatoes, smoke salmon and onion and chives smear! The location is also really great since there is always parking and it’s not too crowded on weekdays but come a bit early if you have certain flavors in mind for bagels! The apple cinnamon is a unique one worth trying but I personally like more savory bagels.

This is one of my favorite places to go to everyone morning when I am to early for work! Bagels are always fresh, and the staff is really hard-working and friendly. I absolutely love the potato bagel, toasted, with garlic and herb smear! Thank you so much Einstein Bros! You always make my mornings! :D

Go to spot for bagels in the area, Service is decent when the managers working he’s usually pretty friendly rest of the staff is OK but have had some friendly interactions over the past few months… recommend the nova lox on everything!

Terrible experience. We ordered from a reduced selection in the case, waited half an hour, and then were told they didn’t have the items we ordered. Had to demand a refund.

I understand that things get busy, but this was frustrating. My family and I ordered and paid for five bagels. After a half an hour of waiting, we were told that they had sold the bagels we saw in the display and purchased to other people. They were kind enough to refund us for the bagels we never got

I went here on a Saturday morning because I was craving something a little different than my usual Starbucks breakfast run. I was craving bagels and I’ve heard that Einstein’s is the place to go when you have that sort of craving. I ordered an Asiago Bagel with cream cheese. Customer service was good but the bagel itself rarely had any flavor to it. It was apparently toasted, but it wasn’t even crunchy like it should be. Like someone else also mentioned, they stuffed the bagel with so much cream cheese that it was a bit gross to eat. Also, I told them that I wanted it to-go and they didn’t even include napkins. All in all, it was a messy eat and the $ 2.75 price tag is also overpriced. I’ll just stick to Starbucks the next time I’m craving bagels.

I’ve been here many time but no longer. For $ 2.75, they only give a side of cream cheese that cover one half of the bagel plus a bite of the other one. When I asked for more cream cheese, they wanted an additional $ 1.50. Poor customer service as this decision cost them my business.

Nice staff. Pumpkin chai latte was waaaayyy to sweet but they let me exchange it for a regular chai. Bagels and lox were okay the lox were kind of fake tasting. The French toast sandwich was really tasty.

Yum, soggy bagel. I’ve been here a few times. When it’s not crowded, it’s pretty decent if you need a quick snack. However, when it’s busy, it’s a whole different story and you won’t be in and out that fast and you’ll also end up with a soggy bagel. Gross. The staff is really what makes this place. They are super friendly and do the best they can during rush times even though they seemed understaffed. A+ customer service. I’ve been to other Einstein’s and they are great and no problems with the bagels. After this particularly extra soggy bagel today however, I will not be back.

I’m not a fan of bagels, too chewy and too bready; however, this morning at 8:50 a.m. needed a quick breakfast to go and stopped in. Has a florentine bagel, sliced, toasted and spread with cream cheese. Delightful !!! Crispy cheesey, spincachy goodness. Will be back. Fast, clean, and friendly staff.

Coffee is always good here. Their bagels are soft and yummy, variety of good smears. I like their sandwiches too. LOVETHELOX here, nice balance between capers and smear. The staff does its best to deal with the onslaught of cranky«the world revolves around me» Pasadena folk, who seem to always be late for something and want to blame the world for it instead themselves. The staff really are nice here, but it’s not unusual to have to wait for someone to finish changing their minds for the third time or just blaming the staff for being human. So many knuckle heads. They do move the line fast and do their best to accommodate their customers. I like this location MUCH better than the Lake one, where I found a roach in the coffee. This place is clean and they keep brewing fresh coffee and popping out yummy bagels…

It’s funny reading these 1-Star negative comments/reviews because the complaints are so petty. You guys are so high maintenance!!! This place is great! Good selection of bagels and great selection of spreads to choose from. Staff seem friendly enough for me to come back. I’m here to eat, not make friends so that’s not a big deal. Preferred choice: Spicy Nacho bagel with jalapeño salsa spread. AMAZING flavor bomb. They also have doggie bagels do the furry family. Will return again.

This place is always inefficient, but the bagels are decent enough that I put up with it. Today, however, Timothy was so rude, I will not return. He blatantly refused to honor a three week old coupon. He told me if it were two weeks old, he would have, so too bad for me. Clearly he isn’t educated on basic customer service skills when it comes to accepting expired coupons. Considering he is a manager, perhaps that might be good training. It’s bad enough your employees are disorganized and slow, but condescending too? No wonder, their manager isn’t a leader!

I stopped by just a few moments ago to get a bagel with shmear. I ordered a blueberry bagel with shmear — I asked for strawberry shmear but got plain. Not only that, but with my bagel, I got huge globs of the shmear. Every mouthful was 60% cream cheese and 40% bagel. It was sort of gross, so I used a knife to scrape off as much of the cream cheese as I could, and tried to finish the rest. It was the messiest bagel I had ever had, cream cheese was everywhere! In my lap, in my hair, on the paper, all over my fingers… End result: $ 2.75(way overpriced!!!) for a cream cheese mess. I could hardly taste the bagel through the cream cheese and it was *so messy*

So I passed by this place and thought«I’m still on a quest to find the best NYC bagel here in LA and I haven’t tried this place.» Sadly, most places have been disappointing(Bagel Broker, Brooklyn Bagel Bakery, Western, Noah’s, Goldstein’s, Sam’s on Sunset). Although I didn’t have much hope, I stopped and ordered one honey whole wheat bagel for $ 1.19, plain and un-cut(this is how I test). The bagel is so pillowy soft. There is no outer crunch or chewy denseness that a good NY bagel has. Essentially, it has none of the properties. However, it did have good flavor. It reminded me of a Vons bagel. It’s not the worst bagel I’ve eaten, but don’t waste your time and tastebuds if what you want is a true NY style bagel. If this kind of bagel is your thing, then a baker’s dozen will cost $ 10.99. If you want NY style, go to the Original Brooklyn Water Bagels in Beverly Hills.
