They make the drinks all cute, but not tasty at all. Honey toast is also cute, tasty, but way too expensive for some pieces of toasted bread and ice cream.

ALERT!!! UNDERNEWMANAGEMENT… NEWPOLICYTHATYOUCANONLYPAYCASHFORORDERSUNDER $ 10. MINIMUMTOUSECREDITCARD(VISA/MC) IS $ 10ANDUPBUTYOUWILLBECHARGED50CENTSNOMATTERWHAT. If you are going to hike up my $ 10 order every time then I will take my business elsewhere. There are much better places to get boba like Fusion Tea a few blocks away. This place was run by some good people before, but the new owner seems to want to pass the charges to this loyal customer which I don’t feel is right. The new owner or manager is Elsa. Complaints should be made to her.

I’m battling food poisoning from eating their stewed pork over rice, and this is the first time I’ve ever had food poisoning. Pretty sure I’m never coming back.

I love their sweet pork and popcorn chicken! Pretty good sized portions and can easily be shared if youre not starving. Their thai tea comes with whipped cream on top! The brick toast is really big and really delicious!

I saw their food on Instagram, esp the boba drinks with cotton candy. Having been to CremeBee in Alahambra, which I LIKE the concept of ice cream and cotton candy I decided to try drinks with cotton candy on top. Unfortunately upon arrival, the lady told me they ran out of cotton candy, instead I ordered a french rose tea, it was overly sweet not much to my liking. Their little café is as empty as the plaza that they are located in, more like a ghost town overshadowed by Cha2O, Bakers&Baristas, and Tea Station which happened to be right next door. I think I’ll just stick to those three restaurant.

A+ in my book! My friend and I ordered the House Special brick toast(apparently ppl wait 1+ hours just to order this), which comes with 3 – 4 scoops of ice cream, strawberry, bananas, oreos, and dollops of custard/whipped cream. SUPER cute bear design and a good size for 3 – 5 people I’d say. I also ordered the Potted Milk Tea, which is a little pricey($ 4.95) but you can modify the type of milk tea you want and add boba if you’d like too! It was my first time having a potted drink and I really enjoyed it. What REALLY made the experience was the service! Granted, I went on a Tuesday night around 8pm so there were only a few people there, but my server was exceptionally nice and friendly and offered several suggestions throughout the menu. He was very accommodating and served water without us asking after my friend and I had been sitting there talking for some time. I’m not sure what it’s like on it’s busier nights, hence the less than perfect rating, but I will definitely be back again!

Damn this place sucks now. It used to have waiters that takes your order. Now you have to go up to a cashier and have them make your order for you. They also uped their prices by 1.50−2. On top of that they messed up my order twice for the last two times I came there. The cashier would even confirm my order and it still gets messed up. Go to a different boba place. You can spend the same amount of money as you would herr and get better food and service.

I would give 3 and ½ stars. I didn’t even see the 10% off the order. I should’ve seen it before I paid. They took 50 cents for using my card. –_– Food is good and cheap. Popcorn chicken is good amount and pretty good. They used to charge for extra sauce but they don’t do that anymore. Minced pork is yummy, I usually get this. Their beef noodle soup used to be so good but it’s not the same anymore. The SERVICE: poor girl is working alone and it was sooooo slow. She’s trying her best. My friend didn’t like her drink so they made it again twice. I think the owner and the waitress is the only ones working. Service is always slow from what I remember. But overall I was going to leave a good review Cus I’ve been coming here for awhile and I love the food. Not happy about the 50 cents charge on my card tho

Was just told that they raised their minimum for credit /debit cards to $ 10.(It was $ 5 previously). Plus there is a $.50 or so usage fee. Guys, this is 2015. People do not carry cash they way they used to, especially the younger generation. I would be okay with a flat fee for using credit /debit cards, since it is a small business that needs to cover e-commerce costs. However, adding a $ 10 minimum does not make sense and seems like ploy to get customers to buy more. When it comes to drinks, this place gets a 4 out of 5. I usually order a Jasmine Green tea with boba and it is above average, especially for the area.(I reside in the 626 where boba choices abound). Drinks tend to be a bit sweet so I order them with half sugar. The food is pretty good, too. I’ve ordered various kinds of thick toast and I’m always impressed. Atmosphere is okay. Good place to study with plenty of outlets. Wifi has never let me down. Overall, this is a pretty good spot. It would have received a 4 out of 5 if it weren’t for their strange credit card policy.

This employee that served me tonight can single-handedly destroy guppies. She did things for me and my friend that we could have done ourselves(get cups of water, transfer my leftovers to a to-go box, and tied my plastic bag). She gave me two sweet and sour sauces instead of just one container. Too bad I don’t know her name. She needs a name tag and needs major recognition for her bomb customer service skills. This place is the go-to spot for popcorn chicken and minced pork. Oh and Okinawa milk tea!

Love their popcorn chicken, fries, and mango yogurt drink! Pretty cheap and tastes better than guppies. But service sucked last night. That’s why I gave it a 4star rating. The guy working looked like he didn’t want to be there. He had his back towards everyone and when he was looking out the window(instead of the customers to see if they needed anything) he was yawning. He didn’t know where some of the orders were supposed to go when we were the only ones who needed our orders.

I love this place! Great prices and really quick service. The girls working the cashier are always very nice and polite I really like the customer service they provide. My favorite thing to order is the Mango Yogurt Slush with some pop corn chicken, both are amazing! ;) One last thing! Free WIFI! Two thumbs up!

My secondary study place — somewhat tied with Tea Bar Metro. Depends on my mood for the day, really. I’ve been coming here a lot, and I’m a bit torn on how to review. Pros: Popcorn chicken is pretty consistently good. Crispy, hot, and fresh – great snack that can be shared among 2 – 3 people, easily. Most drinks are good – they’ve got about a 90% satisfaction rate with me. The milk-based drinks are good, but the lychee green tea and jasmine green tea earn points with me for their refreshing flavors. When I’m here on a regular weekday afternoon, it’s easy to find seating, and service is prompt as there’s usually not many other customers around. However, I won’t always get to sit near an outlet(there are only 2 tables that have easy outlet access), so it’s a toss-up for me when I decide to try to come here for work. Cons: They tend to not have things available, even though it’s on the menu. Three times now I’ve tried to get the red-braised pork meal, and every time I’ve been told they don’t have it. I settle for the popcorn chicken meal(which is quite good, btw), but damn, take that off the menu if you’re not gonna stock the ingredients for it/make it. There was also one time that I ordered a milk-based drink, and it just tasted… off. There was a sour tang in the aftertaste of the milk that was just barely covered by the sweetness of the drink. The server was nice enough to remake it for me, but it tasted the same; I just ended up getting a meal and she credited the drink’s cost towards that. She thought that it was either the egg pudding or that it was because she was using lowfat milk since they ran out of whole. I later asked a former server about the issue, and they said that sometimes, the milk will get left out, and will therefore get sour… Technically, I ought to give this place less stars due to that incident, but because of how it was handled, I’m sticking with the 4-star. Overall: This place is not bad. They’re fairly consistent in service and food/drink quality, though I can see why other reviewers would have issues with them; because of the timeframes that I’m frequenting this place, however, it’s not so bad for me.

Tbh, this place was alright but I give 3 stars for our server Nicole? Came here with two other friends around 8ish? My friend and I both ordered the beef stew(his with reg noodles mine with glass noodles). The soup base tastes like phở’s soup base but with a hint of beef. I felt like I had more beef chunks than noodles in mine but I had glass noodles which are thinner than the regular ones so I guess. Popcorn chicken was pretty good. It isn’t the best I’ve ever tasted but still good. The deep fried tofu was BOMBAF! Crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. So good Their«infamous» brick toast was tbh, okay. The special brick toast had bananas in it which I didn’t like. The cream on that was really really sweet and the brick toast was super hard to eat. Service: Service was excellent! Our server Nicole was a food runner, cashier and a server. It was slow when we got there but by the time we were ready for our check, it was packed. Understanding from a server’s perspective, I really didn’t mind waiting for our check. It just bugs me that other people were super impatient for their order to be taken. So shout out to you, server! And shout out to those impatient people, y’all needa learn how to chill! Servers don’t get enough credit for how much they do, and especially if they’re the only ones working the front. Keep it up Nicole, you’re awesome and great(:

I feel bad for this place. It’s actually pretty nice to eat & drink here but I do think it’s understaffed. They need to hire more people. I only see like two people working and only one taking all the orders. That sucks! Because of all the pressure and stress. I would not want to deal with all of that! I gave them four stars because of the drinks & popcorn chicken. I ordered the milk tea with boba and medium spiced popcorn chicken. It came out really delicious and plentiful. I got full from it. Good portion size. The milk tea was also yummy. Not too sweet and not too plain. It was just right. Overall, I would come here again. The wait may vary and depends on who else is there. But I came in at the right time where it wasn’t too busy. If anything, it would be best to take it to go. Probably the ideal thing to do if you do not want to wait too long!

Yummy bread desserts! Inside the bread are little squares of buttered toast. Takes about 15 min to make but they’re so cute. Make sure to Instagram it so your friends have FOMO.

Came here for the second time to try the Waffle but they have ran out of the Waffles this time. WHY??? I still like this place for their Love Milk drink and I got to try their Popcorn Chicken this time around. I don’t know what kind of seasoning they put on the chicken but it was delicious. I also ordered Brick Toast for substitution of Waffles and they were pretty okay. I liked how they decorate the Brick Toast and it still looked pretty eventhough I ordered it as take out. The look of the Brick Toast surely got my kid’s attention. No Waffle again but still happy.

This place is very cute! It’s hard to decide what to get because everything looks so good! I have tried their taro shaved ice. It’s very smooth and flavorful. Recently I got their brick toast, their really big ones that have an ice cream teddy bear as a décor. It was huge! And the way they make it is they put little square pieces of brick toast into a large one. I don’t know if that made sense; you gotta try it to see for yourself. It also came with strawberries, bananas, ice cream, wafer sticks, and etc. It was very delicious, the toast had the perfect amount of crisp. It was not too sweet as I thought it would be. What I didn’t like is how I had to attach the bear head myself. It’s quite disappointing when you buy something and it doesn’t look like as pictured. =_= and I did say I was going to eat in, so I don’t know why they gave it in two styrofoam containers.

I had wanted to come here for a long time to try their famous giant brick toast, so on my birthday, my friends blindfolded me and drove me here. I was so excited when I eventually found out where we were! First, I just need to talk about the amazing service we received. We got there RIGHT as the kitchen was closing, meaning that we couldn’t get the brick toast. But when we told then it was my birthday, they still took the time to make us the toast, and even personalized it specifically for my birthday! Everyone was so excited and I was so thankful that they took the extra time to make my birthday so special. And now for the toast itself. WOW! As you can see my the picture I posted, it is truly a work of art, and also delicious! There were 6 of us and it was the perfect size for all of us. Looking at their drink menu, it looks like they have a bunch of other fun things that I want to come back and try. Awesome experience here!
