So I like to go to Mike’s because they support Bert’s Big Adventure, a local charity. I also enjoy their mini sandwiches, as it is just right for me. However, would it kill to greet your customer? These employees are less than enthusiastic about life in general. You are there to do a job, do it; that’s what you are paid for. Deal with your life after work hours, don’t take it out on the PAYING customer. I hate being rushed to place my order, just so you can make me a sloppy sandwich, which you will over charge me for… Then at check-out you have the nerve to watch and see if I tipped you at the register. Good try… think again. I have been sitting on this review for 2 months now in hopes things would change, but they haven’t. So, here you go, you deserve it. Let’s see if things change anytime soon.

This is the most awful service I have received in a sandwich shop. First of all, I was not greeted as a customer. No smile just a blank stare. I was rushed twice to make my selection and then asked for the choice of bread. I requested wheat and then they provided the white. When i asked them to clarify that it is white, the person told me I had stated that I want white bread. So I was told that I had said white when I clearly said wheat. Seriously, who do these people think they are. There are thousands of sandwich places in Buckhead and this customer treatment is unacceptable. I was so shocked that I could not believe what had happened. I proceded to add to my order but didnt want to tell them to customize it more because I was afraid I will be treated with unpleasant attitude and humiliation. I gave one star only because of the quality of the subs.

Fast, friendly and delicious. I just discovered this little gem near my office and could not be happier about it. Incredible bread, fresh meats and Mike’s toppings are comfort food to me. I usually pop in here when I don’t have a lot of time for lunch. These folks have this process down to a science and have you in and out in no time. They build a great sandwich and do it with a smile. Everyone knows about Jersey Mike’s, but I wanted to give this particular location some love. So, here is some love. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it.

I love Jersey Mike’s. I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants normally but for lunch this place is great. They are very consistent from store to store, their product is good(better than Subway that is) and I like that fact that you get to watch them cut the meat and cheese right in front of you. So it hasn’t been sitting out for days. If you want a good sub for lunch you should definetely give Jersey Mike’s a try.

Philly cheesesteak subs are pretty good, but that’s the only reason to go in there. Staff is always rushing you and on the cusp of being downright rude even if there’s no line in the place! Last time one of the servers argued with me and told me I had never asked for lettuce or tomato, after he repeated if when I placed my order, but I found none on my sandwich.

Great tasting subs but not really. The problem has always been the kids who are making it don’t want you in the store and don’t care if you every come back. The results is sloppy half made sandwich thrown together in 3 seconds. Employees love to to hide in the back. Many friends I know refuse to return to this one because of the employees. Has been this way for 3+ years. Avoid, lets hope they go out of business and get a real sandwich shop that likes return business. Drive 1 mile down the road to subway. Great service !

This place is fine. The workers could seem a little more excited and speak up a little more(acoustics are weird in the building). Other than that, their sandwiches are good and I’ve never had a problem here. A-OK indeed.

This Jersey Mike’s is across the street from my new house. Last night I was not wanting to cook dinner so I decided to take a trip over and grab a sub. When I drove up at 6:30pm it felt like I was in a ghost town as there were no cars in the parking lot; for the whole shopping center. I walked into Jersey Mike’s and not a soul in there either, not even a sub maker. After about a minute I was about to turn around and leave, when 2 employees came out from the back. I ordered the original Italian sub to go. The cashier accidentally rang me up for a combo instead of just the sub, so I ended up grabbing a soda and some chips too. I was disappointed that they carry Pepsi and not Coke; I mean come on it’s Atlanta where Coke is king. After getting home with my sub I didn’t really care much for it. It was bland in taste and the bread tasted a little old. Not sure I really like having this Jersey Mike’s across the street from my house; maybe they’ll build a Subway close by soon.

The subs here are good. They slice the meat on the premises. What’s interesting to me is that though the sandwich tasted fresher than other franchises, I couldn’t necessarily say it was better. I assume the original branch in Point Pleasant, NJ is much, much better. I also assume the original branch consists of accents that are much, much thicker. To me, it seems the quality got diluted over time and distance. Would I eat here, if I were in the area? Yes. Would I go out of my way to eat here? I can’t give a strong answer either way.

I love sub shops, I’ve been to several, but this one is up in my top 3 for sure! They slice the meat and cheese right in front of you, so super thin it is practically see through. Now, that doesn’t mean they skimp, I think it brings out the flavor better that way. The bread was fresh, the service was fast and friendly and the bill was, well, average. I did like the option of the mini size, as I always eat way more than I need to because it’s in front of me. Bonus: they guys behind the counter were pretty cute!

It’s a SUBSHOP. And a darn good one. Staff at the Buckhead location rocks —

My little brother is beyond obsessed with this place, and I just don’t get the appeal. Yes, it’s nice that the meat is all freshly sliced and I liked their various combinations, but the bread was far too soft and flaky: I prefer a really thick and crusty sub roll. This place was absolutely packed at the lunch rush, but luckily the line moved relatively quickly. Next time, I’ll let the bro take his Jersey Mike’s pilgrimage solo.

These franchise stores are popping up all over the city and beyond. It has a lot more character than the ubiquitous Subway and poor quality Blimpie. The concept is simple: pile on freshly sliced deli meats and cheese onto italian bread and voila a sandwich is born. I’m not a huge deli guy, and often find cured meats too salty for my palate – but once in awhile a nice sub hits the spot. Mike’s keeps it simple and pleases its crowd.
