I have had troublesome tendonitis in both elbows for several weeks and Resurgeons was recommended to me by multiple neighbors. This was one of the absolutel best experiences I have ever had! I called on a Monday, and they scheduled me for the very next day! All of their forms are online and available at their website, so I could fill them out in advance and bring them in with me. I saw a wonderful PA, Thomeshia Cammon, who did functional tests on both my arms, took my history, and ordered X-rays. I had X-rays onsite, and as PA Cammon expected, they did not show any orthopedic injury. She diagnosed lateral epicondylitis, which is tennis elbow, in both arms. PA Cannon let me know my treatment options, and I opted for cortisone shots to both elbows, which were done with a local anesthetic only so that I could drive home. They also fitted me with aircast forearm braces which actually fit my tiny, 7 and 7/8″ circumference forearms. I had been searching for months and found nothing that fit! I left with my forearm braces and a prescription for anti-inflammatories, as well as PT exercises to do at home. One of the medical assistants had recently had tennis elbow, and shared her experience with me, including the fact that frequent stretching helped stave off recurrence. Parking was a little tricky because I wasn’t sure which building Resurgeons was in at St Joseph’s, but follow the sign to Doctor’s Offices and pick the tall building because they are on the 9th floor. This is a five star experience: next day appointment, immediate exam, X-rays, treatment, and much-needed hard-to-find braces in hand, along with PT exercises and a prescription for anti-inflammatories. I cannot recommend them enough!

Well I am sure you have all heard I fractured my femer while Ice Skating on RCCL Freedom of the Seas Cruise ship. Yes they have an ice skating rink on board but I digress. I have started physical therapy here today and Dr. Rosenstein is a great Orthopedic Specialist. He wants me to start walking without crutches next week but we will have to see. The people here are really friendly. They were so busy the other day and My Dr. came out personally and escorted all of his patients taht were waiting personally to the rooms. He is a great guy. I will update as my physical therapy progresses.
