I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but the whole city needs to know about this guy. Full disclosure: I’m an employee but I wouldn’t work for anyone else. In my 30+ years in healthcare I have never met a more compassionate person. I have never encountered a physician who goes out of his way to help his patients the way Dr Risinger does. He might spend a half hour just discussing insurance problems or difficulty obtaining a medication. He takes an interest in the whole person, including their interests and their stresses. He knows his stuff. He’s remarkably efficient and the competence of his office staff reflects this. An absolute jewel of a doctor and a human being.

I am so seriously impressed. Having been through cancer with a child, helping my sister with a brain tumor and her recovery last year, andeven more with my family, I am not used to efficient pleasant competent staff, informative doctors, or medical staff that actually listens and explains. We love this office. The front staff is pleasant and helpful. The cardiac techs are business like but pleasant enough and efficient. Dr. Risinger takes time to ask, listen and explain. I LOVED that the staff all spoke directly to my 85 yo mother even though she is old and in a wheel chair. Some places and doctors talk to the family member instead.
Other pluses are: we needed paperwork and tests quickly for clearance for some procedures and they were accommodating and worked to get our ducks in a row for it all; the staff at the cardiac testing facility next door in the same bldg (St. David’s) were just as pleasant and professional and respectful of my mother; Tony that called us about results handled an extra task for us and was great; the nurse called to confirm that clearance was sent. Geez, who knew health care could be like this? WooHoo, it was wonderful. I just wish I could re-​do the lighting and add some color to the interior ‘s black and gray and perk up the plants. Don’t let the interior put you off — it’s the people that make the difference and they all seemed great. Thank you!
