I went here because of the reviews and was disappointed. Small menu. And a smell from the kitchen was like nothing I smelled before. Lost my appetite. Clean out side but look back behind the kitchen. Filthy

Went here for lunch with my girlfriend. Food was ok. Bill came to $ 16. I tipped $ 4. Imagine how surprised i was the next day to see a charge on my credit card for $ 4,018.35. I went back to the location and was told that I would have my refund within the hour. In that time my bills are being overdrawn due to this large amount coming out. Guy behind counter tried telling me it was a mistake. not sure how a mistake of $ 20 goes to this much. Will never eat here again. Avoid or pay cash.

The goat sag was excellent! The selection is minimal compared to others but the quality of the food is great. The naan bread was included in the price, even though a review previous said it was extra(they must have read the review and changed). The only recommendation would be to have a salad section with vegetables and lettuce. The service was also great, too.

Great lunch buffet and good value. this place is the real deal. Could have used a few more items, like 1 or 2 more and maybe another dessert option but the food was authentic, service attentive(rare for an Indian restaurant) and the place was clean. Definitely going back next time I’m in the area.

We ordered the chicken tikka and chicken kadai. Both were delicious. The roti was extremely greasyand unappetizing. I’d come back for the food, but not the roti.

Absolutely horrible Indian restaurant. I ordered the lamb vindaloo and it did not even have any potatoes, which is the whole staple of the vindaloo. My friend ordered the chicken tikkha masala and the sauce was identical to my fake lamb vindaloo. This place is a fraud and you should save your money. There was a good reason why this place was empty on a Saturday night!

Came here twice. food is pretty authentic indian and flavorful. I asked for more spice and they catered to it! Enjoyed the shrimp masala butter chicken a lot .note the shrimp in the masala was considerably smaller on take out than weekend takeout! Dislike! And food has a lot of oil! Service is average

Horrible! I was in the area for a course. Had a hankering for Indian food. All the other local Indian restaurants were closed on a Monday. I took a chance on this place. The food was tasteless and extremely spicy. For appetizer there were vegetable spring rolls. Tasteless. I could have bought them in the freezer aisle of my grocery store. There were about 4 veg dishes, chicken tikka and a chicken biryani. All extremely tasteless and spicy. There were Gulab Jamun for dessert that were probably made from a Gits kit. Disgusting. It was $ 10.66 down the drain. Wish I could give it 0 stars. btw, No a la carte menu available for a weekday lunch.

Street Road, Bensalem, PA It has been some time since Ive been here. But I do remember the food was pretty good. I will have to come back to this buffet. If spicy indo chinese food is here… u must try. I tried it in India… it was too delicious but just hot… which is kind of perfect for me since I think chinese food is bland(terrible isnt it; my taste buds are spoiled) so indian flavors added would really rock!

The same shop as the former Food Castle, this north Indian restaurant offers a menu of both Indian and Chinese cuisine. They are on opposite sides of the take out menu, and no Chinese dishes were available in the luncheon buffet. I have heard a lot about the Indo-Sino kitchens, but have yet to actually try it. It is not clear that New Moghul cooks that way, but when I was there only Indian dishes were displayed. Arriving just before 2, there was only one other customer. I perused the offerings and filled my large plate with Vegetable Samosa, Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Makhani, Paneer Makhani, Chana Masala, Vegetable Biriyani and Naan. They were all good, but none outstanding. Having two Makhani dishes seemed redundant, but the sauce was nice and creamy. The Tandoori Chicken was the freshest on the table, as a new tray of it was brought out while I was loading up. It was tender and easily separated from the bone. It was predominantly thighs and drums. The Biriyani was a nice dark color and had a pleasant flavor. What I am discovering is that if you want to have Indian buffet for lunch, it is better to arrive early and eat when all the dishes are just out of the kitchen. I am a late luncher, and it seems that many of the tureens are not heated, and left in the open for a few hours. Many offerings are past their prime, and less enjoyable. I was satisfied with my meal at New Moghul, but I have had much better North or South Indian victuals recently, and this place is not up to that standard. To be completely fair, I will have to return for dinner and see if that changes the story. Still, if a resto is going to offer a buffet it should be a reflection of what is available if ordering off the menu. By that guide, this place is only A-OK.

I had to take a star off for the poor service, but I have to say, the food really is truly delicious. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about how great the food is, because their service can’t handle more people coming here! This place is so odd, because it is tucked away in a small part of a large road, appears to have been a fast food joint at some point, and has a «China town» part of the menu. None of this brings the place down. When you first walk in, you notice that, despite the large, lit sign above with the name of the place, most of the doors say«Food Castle Express.» You walk in, and it is an obscenely glitzy tiled place with multiple televisions playing Bollywood music vids, and an bizarrely open kitchen separated by glass. The layout speaks to it’s old Food Castle Express days… Even some of the tables have the old logo of whatever ghost of a place used to be here. However, it is very clean, and the Bollywood videos are quite mesmerizing. The menu is North Indian(they seemed to have once served South Indian, but that’s all crossed off the menu now), with a section labeled as «China town.» I will have to try that at some point, as Indian-Chinese food is famous, and maybe they make it well,. We order some samosas, naan and various dishes. The samosas come out rather quickly and are super fresh and better than any samosa I have EVER had. However, the rest of the dishes come in much much later. There is also no apology for the wait, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which table orders first and which table receives their order first. So we sit jealously eyeing everyone else’s food and wishing we had more samosas. However, our food finally comes, and it’s amazing! Tikka, korma, kadu, all perfectly creamy, not oily, with a perfect kick of spice at the end, and very generous helpings of perfectly cooked chicken, paneer and cashews. The naan was also perfect — fluffy and soft, with a slight crisp at some edges. We were supposed to get a free dessert, but service was so terrible, we decided we didn’t want to wait half an hour for dessert to arrive and another half an hour for our bill to be paid, so we waited for our bill and left it at that. Service is incredibly slow, and when they did come to check on us, it was when all of us had our mouths full! I would like to come for lunch some time and try their buffet. I’m sure everything would be better if I just went to get it myself. Dear person who recommended this place to my husband, THANKYOU! BESTINDIANFOOD I’VEEVERHAD. EVER.
