These muffins are insanely delicious, especially the banana bam bam. I would buy these muffins on the regular as they sold in my local climbing gym and grocery stores. The banana bam bam has a special place in my heart and does not compare to any other muffin I’ve ever had. However, the prices were recently raised to an outrageous $ 5 per muffin from $ 3.75 each and since I have decided to boycott. I miss these muffins and will miss them very much and would have given 5 stars before the prices were raised.

This review is for the Banana Bam Bam which deserves all 5 stars!!! Super moist banana muffin that is the perfect healthy mid-morning snack. I know they also sell in a couple places in SF like Paramo Coffee in the Embarcadero. I’ve had co-workers/friends tell me they’re underwhelmed by the muffins but that’s because I think they were expecting the basically cupcake-without-frosting variety. I wouldn’t say that the muffins here taste like that — it’s different but still delicious! Yum yum!

This review is for the banana bam muffins, purchased from Whole Foods in Oakland. Simply scrumptious! They were located further down from the sprouted breads on the same aisle, so I had to ask a few people for help in locating them. But the flavor of these muffins is excellent, especially once heated for a few seconds in the microwave. They are a little crumbly but that is the way almond flour can be. I look forward to trying the other favors in the future as a four pack is $ 12 and not an everyday treat for me. :)

Tried Paleo-aligned minis that were served at Melo Melo. The banana bambam and chocolate were moist, almost wet. But I do understand why. Unique biz idea, lovely aesthetically,& many flavors to choose from. An alternative healthier way to eat muffins

Stumbled upon these at Caffe Strada and decided to give them a try — best decision of the day! Nothing more enjoyable than drinking espresso out of the patio with a delicious muffin that actually makes you feel good. So happy I came across these and that Strada is selling them!

I am one of those chicks who cannot have her coffee or tea without some sort of muffin in the morning(Yea, I know). When I started some fitness classes earlier this year, I thought«I need SOMETHING with my coffee» so on a whim, I tried these muffins. I don’t think I could ever go back to plain ol’ Costco blueberry muffins(even though they’re still delicious). I don’t miss my old muffins and these keep me full until lunch time. I feel GOOD after eating these muffins and they are super tasty! I don’t do paleo or gluten free BUT I am in love after trying Muffin Revolution’s bam bam banana muffins!

THANKYOUSOMUCH for making your muffins available in SF. I had the opportunity to devour your 24-Carrot Gold, by far my favorite(and it’s vegan, I’m surprised!). Delightfully moist! I want to say that the one time I had ordered a dozen to my place, I was very happy to have it come in a reasonable time and boxed up nicely. Your alternatives to grains and starches fills me up with joy!!! Blessings, Joel

Truly amazing paleo muffins! Being paleo, sometimes it’s just not fun feeling deprived of a little something sweet. Everytime I pass by Artís(coffee shop) on 4th street in Berkeley I grab myself a muffin. I have had the privilege of trying the Cha cha cha, Yam Good, Banana Bam Bam, and Flower Power. Let’s describe… Cha cha cha. A family favorite! I am absolutely in love with how this chocolatey muffin hits every note on my palate. And, the best part is that it’s not too sweet. You really can’t go wrong with trying this one. It’s the general crowd pleaser. i mean who doesn’t love chocolate? Yam Good. I think of a nice pumpkin pie when I eat this. It’s like biting into Thanksgiving. All the flavors of the pecans, dates, apples, with the yam and ginger play together extraordinarily well. Also, it doesn’t have any added agave, or honey sweeteners. A plus in my book. A personal favorite if you ask me. Banana Bam Bam. Okay, I am a sucker for all things blueberry and banana. So need I say more? It’s like eating blueberry and banana bread all at once and it’s absolutely fabulous. Flower Power. This one, for me is the unequivocal award winner. I love love love the simplicity of the muffin. But more than ever, I think it’s because it reminds me of my childhood indulging in my favorite lemon poppyseed muffins for breakfast. This one, is reminiscent of such a treat. It’s made simply with vanilla, a touch of lavender, and almonds. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better muffin. Lastly, I must add that Marirose, the cofounder has been truly remarkable as she agreed to make a Cha Cha Cha Birthday Cake for my best friend’s birthday. She suggested an espresso cashew frosting and I must say it’s the absolute best. I mean we got to have a PALEOCAKE!!! So for you paleo mongers out there, do not fret! We can have our cake and eat it too(on our birthdays! or just for kicks whatever works with you!) Just shoot them an email with your questions/orders and they will be very accommodating. =)

These muffins are legit! I just had 2 flavors delivered and can’t wait to order more. At first bite of a Caveman, I was intrigued. As I continued to eat this meal-in-a-muffin, the freshness was apparent: the texture was perfect, the fruit ripe, and my fork wouldn’t stop going back for more. It’s a treat you want to savor, which is a feat when presented with such flavors. When I shared a muffin with a family member, she also had nothing but positive reactions. I can’t wait to take a couple of these goodies hiking and backpacking; they are a far cry above a power bar or trail mix. These muffins are well worth the money when considering how healthy, easy, and high-quality they are. And locally made to boot!

Fantastic! Paleo, gluten free and incredibly delicious! I had been looking to try one of these for the last 2 weeks or so and kept striking out. I tried visiting a few of the cafés where they were sold, only to find out is come on the wrong day or that they had already sold out for the day. Finally I went to Highwire(in Market Hall) this morning and got to try 2 different muffins, the Bam Bam Banana and the Yam Good. Both were incredibly flavorful and moist. I would eat these on a daily basis if I could. They almost taste like dessert– surprising considering they are all natural! I can’t wait to try the Caveman muffin and a few others. For those following a healthy, grain free, gluten free, or paleo diet, these are an amazing treat/find. Looking forward to the ladies at MR getting their industrial kitchen up and running so that these amazing muffins are more readily available! Thanks to the Muffin Revolution ladies for providing a truly healthy and delicious option for those of us trying to sustain a clean and natural diet!

Lucky enough to work in Oakland so have now been the lucky recipient of three deliveries, all as birthday treats for people on various diets. So far I have tried Cavewoman, Cha Cha Cha, and Italian Stallion and all were equally amazing! Although I am not anything-free(gladly stuff my face with carbs all day every day), seriously considering getting a Cha Cha Cha birthday cake made. Yes its that good! Although I fear the Italian Stallion is no longer, they have shifted to all grain-free so the only gluten but not grain-free muffins are now gone. Which also means that I didn’t get to try Coconut Dream or Mac’n’Cheese :(But good news for those not in Oakland, they have now partnered with Good Eggs so you can get them delivered anywhere in the Bay Area! But be careful, might find yourself with an expensive muffin addiction…

Important dates don’t need to be calendared — birthdays, anniversaries, July 4th, and the days for when Muffin Revolution delivers to my favorite nearby café. I usually ignore the pastries on display at coffee shops, but one day, the word«paleo» caught my eye. I’m no scientist of things older than Van Halen’s first album, but I have my doubts that folks from the paleolithic era snacked on finely baked goods. Regardless of that, the ingredients from their Paleo line fit the bill for the latest diet I’ve been on. Sure wacky diets come and go, but this wacky low-carb diet actually leaves me feeling really good; and if the lovely folks at Muffin Revolution can bake a muffin that fits the bill, they’ve got a loyal customer in me.

I am not a muffin person — would rather eat a Beauty’s bagel or Sweet Bar salad with quinoa over a normal muffin. However, after rapidly consuming two chocolate Paleo ChaChaCha muffins on two different occasions and discovering Haddon HIll Café sold their last muffin(before 9am on a Thursday), I am now perusing the Muffin Revolution website and Facebook pages to see where I can get my NEXT Cha Cha Cha fix. The muffins I adore: Paleo ChaChaCha: seasonal, organic cherries, chia seeds and chocolate. Grain-Free and dairy-free. J likes the banana ChaChaCha. Post ingestion: no allergic reactions, no feeling tired aka food coma. Would like to try their vegan muffins next.

Oh Muffin Revolution, I am so thankful I found you! I contacted Muffin Revolution to cater my daughter’s first birthday party this past weekend and I am so glad I did. These muffins were the hit of her party! We ordered the Salmon Run, Thai Temple, Mac and Cheesy and Italian Stallion. Everything was so delicious and I received so many compliments regarding the food and questions as to where in the world I found these glorious muffins. It was great to be able to tell them they are right here in Oakland :) If you have an upcoming party and want something unique and delicious, this is the way to go. The muffins are hardy and so popular for adults and kids alike. And they are pretty healthy too! I know it can be scary going with something«different» for a party, but why not support a wonderful local business and have something new and fun for your guests. Added bonus, Marirose, one of the owners, is amazing and made everything so easy for me. She made samples of everything I wanted to try so that I knew what to serve, she helped put together a menu based on the number of guests I had and she delivered them nice and warm on the day of the party. What more could you really ask for? Seriously people, get these muffins for your next party and you won’t be disappointed!

100thREVIEW! Woo woo! And my first good hair day in over a month! Growing out a terrible bang trim… Difficult to believe these muffins are healthy, but definitely not difficult to eat. :) Moist fluffy bites of goodness and healthfulness. The muffins run about $ 22.50−25.50 for six. I would eat these all the time if my money grew on trees. Sadly, my tree is experiencing a bit of financial drought. :( My favorites are: El Nacho Verde — Na-chO average muffin! Spicy, savory Southwestern goodness made with tomatillo salsa, zucchini, corn and cheese cheese. It’s gluten-free, if you are intolerant or sensitive. Urban Cowboy — What are you packing? Heat! Black beans, corn and cilantro plus peppers like chipotle, anaheim and jalepeno peppers and a citrus kick from lime give my taste buds a Southwestern flavor showdown. The Caveman — Points at muffin — Hey you, get in my belly! Made with almond and coconut flour, this grain-free muffin is also free of refined sugars. Sweetened instead with a variety of fruits. Pumpkin, chia and sunflower seeds provide some extra texture to chew on. Yum! The Caveman ROCKS!

5 stars is not sufficient. These muffins are not muffins. They are baked smiles, rainbows, and all that is right in the world. I would join this revolution no matter what the cause was. Today I sampled the Italian Stallion, a sweet potato/pineapple, and the co-owner named Chirsty gave me a free sample of an almond/cranberry/orange muffin. All 3 were phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal. The Italian Stallion is basically pizza in muffin form. Savory goodness with sun-dried tomatoes, kale pesto, and polenta. The sweet potato was sweet and moist. The cranberry/almond was divine. Christy was very nice and gave me the run-down of each flavor they had and the ingredients. The price seemed a little steep for a muffin at $ 3.50 each, but you can tell you are eating quality ingredients and the flavor varieties are so unique. if you like food, you better get your ass over here. True happiness will not exist in your life if you don’t try these muffins.

Tried the Italian Stallion at the Farmigo Launch(and LOVEDIT). then told my friends and co-workers to try some of Muffin Revolution’s unique muffins! We were able to stop by today and caught Christy on her way out… lucky for us, she let us back in and happy campers we are! Today, I was able to try the Inca Warrior(a SPICY chocolate muffin), Urban Cowboy(like chilli in a muffin) and the Italian Stallion(again, bc its so good). $ 2 per mini muffin. $ 3(or 3.25) for the full size muffin. My friend who is on the Paleo diet really enjoyed«The Caveman» and he’s eager to try the other Paleo flavors. Probably helpful, until the Muffin Revolution catches on more, to pre-order on Monday so they can make muffins just for you! «LIKE» them on Facebook to get info re the Muffins they are offering that week. although if you are ordering, it seems like you can just order what you want(?). Support Local Businesses! Join the Muffin Revolution!

A different way to think about a muffin – that’s Muffin Revolution’s mantra. This small business operates out of Kitchener Oakland on Tuesdays from 11a.m.-1p.m., serving up their freshly-baked goods ranging from Thai-style veggie muffins to paleo-friendly«Caveman» muffins and the memorable bacon-chocolate-cherry dessert muffin! They are mother-muffin-tastic! I had a chance to sample their delish muffs at the Farmigo Launch party at Kitchener Oakland. Their savory muffins reminded me of a cross between a quiche and a standard muffin. I liked them a lot. The owners are also very friendly and seemed quite passionate about what they do. Make sure to check ‘em out(they have an online store!)!
