You have a couple choices for a quick cheap meal in this area. There’s a Chipolte, Subway, Flippin Pizza(which I am not a fan of) and Bradley’s Ice Cream. Yes, they serve way more than ice cream. They have a pretty good list of hot and cold sandwiches. My favorites are the Italian and the pastrami(#7). The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh, the service is quick, and the sandwiches are way, way better than anything you can get at Subway. I’m definitely a fan!

Pretty good sandwiches at reasonable prices. I confess, I usually end up getting the same things every time I come(chicken salad with lettuce, tomato, and avocado), but it’s always satisfying nonetheless. Nothing fancy here, but definitely good for a quick bite. I know this place has saved me countless dollars at the next-door Giant by easing my hunger pangs before I head in to do my shopping… nothing worse then wandering the aisles on an empty stomach only to reach the checkout and wonder why your bill is so high. I have yet to try the ice cream, but the hard ice cream is of the Edy’s variety and they have soft serve as well. And just a note, this place is cash only, so be sure to come prepared.

I have been eating their sandwiches since 1984 and I still crave them. I have moved away from Bethesda, but whenever I am in the area I return to grab an italian, sometimes two! They are really nice folks, too.
