This place is terrible. I was in a hurry, so I tried it anyway. Got it to go. They have about 12 dishes. And I had to pick things that didn’t look like I’d get salmonella. I ate about six bites and threw it away. DONTWASTEYOURMONEY, ITSCRAP.

Been here twice. The buffet selection is tiny but it’s cheap and convenient. Unfortunately, some of the items look like they have been sitting there for a while. The guy at the front desk asked me if I wanted anything made and was nice enough to bring out fresh lo-mein which was great! I will probably skip the buffet next time and order from the menu because the food seems to be good when it’s fresh.

I ordered food online thinking it was just going to be me and my mom. I didn’t realize that when I got home my boyfriend(who is highly allergic to shellfish — shrimp) would be at my house to visit. I quickly called Jumbo to cancel my order(since I ordered coconut shrimp and general tso shrimp). I had food at home but I was being lazy so I did what most of us do… I ordered Chinese. WHEN I CALLEDTOCANCELTHEYASKEDMEWHY. THENTHEYSAIDNOYOUCANTCANCEL. I’m like wait what. First you’re asking me why. I was thinking to myself«I don’t owe you an explanation. I just want my money back!» However, I’m a very calm and patient person so I explained(which I shouldn’t have). The woman then said«I’ll just switch it from shrimp to chicken.» So I reluctantly agreed(forgetting I had ordered special house rice which has shrimp in it). I explicitly said please make sure there is no shrimp. She says sure no problem. Then I get my order and I can friggin smell the shrimp. I look at the rice and there it is … The shrimp. So I call and I explained again and she says«OHITSJUST A LITTLEBITOFSHRIMP. YOUCANEATIT. HEDOESN’T HAVETOEATIT. HECANEATTHEWHITERICE.» For those of you who have a food allergy, even just smelling the food item you’re allergic too can cause you not to breath. I asked for them to just fix it and she says oh I will get it right next time so sorry. At this point I lost my patience wrapped up the rice, got in my boyfriends car to bring it to them so I can have it exchanged for chicken fried rice instead(which is what they should have done right away). So I ended up paying the price of shrimp for chicken. Order at your own risk. They may just send you food that can kill you cause to them it’s only a «little bit». Ps once we got there the girl at the counter yells out«that girl came!» So clearly they were talking and probably laughing about something that is not funny at all. I could have lost my(D) mind but I didn’t. I just won’t be back EVER.

Just moved to the area and found Jumbo Buffet on grub hub. I was very pleased with the fast delivery and friendly driver. The food was awesome! Very flavorful and they even packed extra sauce with our meals — without having to ask… not sure what the facility looks like or the status of the buffet but the other reviews are pretty consistent… I think I’ll stick to there takeout for now.

Food is subpar albeit not the worse I’ve ever had. But I don’t recommend it. I found a short stand of hair in my pork fried rice so I am definitely not going back to eat here. The entrance can use more cleaning. And the buffet left to be desired.

Jumbo buffet is an enjoyable, low priced Chinese Buffet, with super friendly staff members, and a large amount of different Chinese food options. In addition they also have buffalo wings in the buffet to spice things up a bit. The food is very good, when considering the over value. Don’t expect to be knocked out of your seats but for a low price buffet it definitely exceeded my expectations. The buffalo wings were also good. In addition they do serve beer, although I did not see what the options were. In addition the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Overall I definitely plan to come back here for a great affordable meal. It is also a great place to bring a family for a low priced option which will satisfy everybody.

I’m slightly ashamed to say I ordered from this place a LOT since I was staying in Windsor for an extended business project. The food has always been good, but it’s not worth the $ 1 delivery fee charged by Eat24 along with

Delivery is fast and the food is really tasty. Portion size large large and the food is priced low. Great bang for the buck.

Recommend you order from the menu here. Avoid the buffet unless you witnessed it being served. Direct from the kitchen is good.

A small, divey Chinese restaurant with a small buffet with a price that can’t be beat. The buffet is no «grand» offering, but food is fresh, not greasy, and prepared well. The dessert’s aren’t great — usually a bit stale and lacking in flavor. But the staff is super friendly and the price cannot be beat.

The definition of Chinese fast food. Only come here if you want to eat a lot of food.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Standard buffet with soups(2), a few varieties of chicken dishes, white and fried rice, some beef and pork dishes. Also had some fruits and jellos along with ice cream. Soda included in price($ 6.95). You can also order take-out, delivery, order off the menu or get the buffet to go(all you can pack into a Styrofoam container and then have it weighed. You can order online as well. Clean bathrooms for customers. Plenty of seating and parking. Cash or credit accepted.

Came here with a friend for the Lunch buffet. The place is pretty small, but decently kept. For $ 7 you can’t beat it! There were quite a few options to choose from and they were all pretty good. There wasn’t anything knock your socks off delicious, and the food didn’t seem the freshest, but for $ 7 I can’t complain!

The buffet section reflects the restaurant’s level of busy, and most of the items look as though they haven’t been touch or replaced in hours. You know that look of something thats been sitting in the chaffing pan for way too long? Yeah, that. So I opt to get the made-to-order stuff, and its pretty decent. I particularly enjoyed their fried rice. And I’m always boring and get beef broccoli, no complaints… but no accolades to give out. This place is a decent and cheap place to stop if you get that dirty chinese food craving.

It is a good Chinese place to take out. The food is good the general tso chicken had too much flour and the sauce is to thick.

I’ve gone for lunch and the food is meh… the portions are good but it is nothing special. From the other reviews I’ll consider trying it for dinner when you can order something other than what’s on the buffet line.

Would not recommend the buffet at this place(despite its namesake), but the made-to-order menu is relatively decent. For the price, it serves up a decent Chinese Takeout fare. Nothing special, nothing bad. The servers are friendly though, so that’s a plus. If you are thinking about the buffet, because there are relatively fewer customers, food items tend to be left on the trays for a while before a fresh batch comes out. So expect to see yellowing vegetables and stale meat.

Food and service were great for a very casual lunch or dinner spot. They only put out small amounts on the buffet and refilled items quickly which kept the food hot and fresh, nothing was dry or hot-lamp-chewy. however, it does have the feel of a fast food place, so if you are looking for a nice sit-down meal this is not the place for you.

The reviews here are right on. Six and a half bucks for lunch and a beverage? Yes, grasshopper, it’s true. All of the usual suspects are here– wonton soup, hot & sour soup, eggrolls(small and veggie only), lo mein, fried rice, chicken w broccoli, pork and broccoli, meatballs(I bet there’s a lot of ground up veggies in there), boneless pork, generals chicken, honey chicken, hot wings, fried chicken on a stick, a gnarly egg foo young(get a pool skimmer for that gravy). and a whole table full of desserts. If you’re not a food snob, you’ll pig out here and be very happy about it. The service is very friendly, I’ve always felt very welcome here.

A three star review based on price alone. The food is, well, passable. The fact that they also do a made-to-order takeout counter business says something though; if the food is good enough to be sold a la carte to the general public, it would be fair to assume that it’s pretty decent buffet food too. It’s cheap. really cheap. You can escape with an 8 dollar lunch, or a 10 dollar dinner, tip included. The selection isn’t amazing, but what they have is pretty good. I like their chicken/beef with broccoli, boneless spareribs, dumplings, and fried sugared donuts… Healthy, right? There are higher quality buffets in the area, but if you’re looking for all the calories you can possibly force into your gastrointestinal tract for the least amount of money, this is your place.
