I went to the Cosi at 125 High Street in Boston today for lunch and tried the new Golden Beet Citrus bowl. It was absolutely delicious! The service was great, and chef Philip personally came out to introduce the new dish. I was extremely impressed with Philip’s high level of customer service, and the quality of the food was great. Cosi has just recently updated their menu. I highly recommend that you go check it out! Thanks again, Cosi! Bowl: golden beet citrus marinated golden beets, citrus vinaigrette, carrot ginger salad, kale, golden raisins, orange segments

I’ll preface this 3-star review by admitting that I eat here almost everyday. 5 days a week. I love the food. The Smart Fit salad makes me feel like a healthy person, and the TBM is a satisfying and delicious sandwich. So, 5 days a week, at around the same time everyday, you’ll find me with my Cosi card in hand. In any other universe, I’d be considered somewhat of a regular. Here, I walk in and get treated just like all of the tourists and business travelers who are lined up at the counter in front of me. This is actually a big deal, especially in the very tiny, very insular Financial District of Boston. I work at a business where I am almost required to know the name of every person who walks in the door, and for the most part, I do. It’s not that hard. It’s a small city. Once in awhile, one of the managers will greet me with an over-enthused, «Hi, nice to see you!» since she KNOWS I’m there everyday, and yet, still has no idea what my first name is. Cosi, I love your food and you’re far too convenient for me to ever stop frequenting. I just hate the fact that I’ve spent thousands of dollars here over the past few years and still have to specify which salad I want every time I approach the salad bar, despite the fact that it’s the only salad I ever get, and that I get it at least 3 times a week.

Well managed restaurant! I was here at lunch and got one of there steak flat breads. It was delicious. The manager was really on top of things here, the restaurant ran like a finely oiled machine. I would go back to this location over some of the others in the area. There is a great seating area in this building, so it’s a good place to meet up with friends for lunch if you work in the area. Cosi is always a good, predictable lunch, especially when you are on a time crunch.

I gave Cosi another shot today because I went there to get lunch for my boss, as we work in the building where Cosi is located. I am not a fan of this place, except for the bread, which is the best thing going for it. The salads are decent but overpriced as are most in this area. I went with the tuna fish, a first for me here. It was quite simply, awful, the worst tuna I have ever had. I ate the bread and threw the tuna away. Just one person’s opinion…

I order catering form them often because I work in the same building. They’re always punctual with their deliveries and their breakfast squiggle(or whatever they call a bagel) sandwiches are a crowd pleaser. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that when I go down for a personal lunch I find their queueing system to be confusing and the salads are a little too pricey

Its a scary thought — knowing that the employees at this location know the type of soup I like, even though I only come in once a week. Tomato basil is simply buttery magic in your mouth, particularly when paired with the bread that I swear is made out of rainbows and happiness. The atmosphere is cozy(ha), the emoployees are always smiling and are very patient, especially during my sporadic indecisive moments. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is I believe that is something reserved for an amazingly outstanding experience.

Love the salad at Cosi, and the bread is tasty too. They are all pretty consistent and good healthy options when running around many of the cities across the eastern seaboard.

I come here in a morning for a squagel. I think bagels taste better when they’re shaped into a square. The morning staff here is always the same and always friendly and perky. I’m not a morning person. I usually need the person handing me my breakfast to be cheery enough for both of us which this Cosi staff certainly accomplishes.

Quick service and fresh food! My favorite lunch order is the Tuscan Pesto Chicken Sandwich. I am a fan of pesto but what also makes the sandwich so good is the shredded romaine and sun-dried tomato spread. It’s not dry like some of the paninis and it’s so flavorful. The flatbreads here are definitely their speciality and are baked to perfection. I also used their catering service for an office meeting and it turned out to be really successful. It was fresh, on time and presented nicely! They cut all the sandwiches in halves so people had more choices. The outdoor seating at this location is a plus especially in the spring/summer when you want to get out of the office for a bit.

I like this Cosi location because of the eating area in the center of the tower that the place is located inside of. The sandwiches are pretty decent and I like the pizza. The salads are as unhealthy as a salad can be, so I stay away from them.

Way to hate on Cosi. I love this location mainly because it’s in my office building and it’s delicious. I love their pizzas and I love that they have improved the speed on making them. I usually would order ahead but a few weeks ago, I came in and I could just walk up to order them. I don’t like most of their salads but that has more to do with my personal tastes than the quality. They don’t have a ton of vegetarian options but I love the pizza and I pretty much only order that. I also have a love affair with their mojito lemonade. I love mint, I love lemonade, I love it. It’s sickly sweet and delicious. The only bummer is that at most Cosi’s lemonade is a fountain beverage and you can refill from the counter but this location doesn’t have that. I’ll survive that one speedbump.

I used to go here all the time until I found out what a good salad tasted like. They will drench your salad in dressing and put all sorts of other cheeses and stuff on it until you wonder what was the point of getting a salad. So definitely get dressing on the side. The lettuce and the chicken are also plain bad. The people making the salads go so fast that they put things on that you don’t want. The sandwiches are good so go with one of those.

Definitely a decent spot for lunch. The staff is friendly and speedy which I like. Although the Cosi bread is delicious their sandwiches need to be bulked up a bit more, I don’t really like the combos that they have on their menu that much. Some of the salads are also sort of boring and lack-luster, but I recently tried the Salmon salad which I loved and highly recommend – it has capers and a delicious pesto vinagrette! That salad is probably the best thing I have had at Cosi so far.

If you want bread for lunch you should come here. If you want dressing with a side of salad you should come here too. I litterally just came back from this place my salad is DRENCHED in dressing. Horrible waste of money. Not coming back here ever again.

Friendly staff and the managers are great. The only downside I have found is that they are overpriced for their location. You could go down a few blocks and get the same type of meal for less and more food. The one item I do love here though is their shrimp and gorgonzola pizza. You have to custom order it but it’s well worth it and cost the same as the chicken fig pizza 8.34 after tax. Bagels are not always fresh so for breakfast this is no longer my stop.

Went here for a quick bite to eat since I was in the area. I usually like Cosi but today I was a bit dissatisfied with the quality of the food. The service was great though, I’ll say that. My sandwich and soup order came up in no time despite the rush of people there. However, my sandwich was a bit flimsy and bland– granted it was just a veggie sandwich but still. The vegetables didn’t taste very fresh and it was just an all around bummer. But the tomato basil soup I ordered on the other hand was great.

The lunchtime rush in the Financial District is an unholy clusterfuck. In rush pin-striped, well groomed, heels-clacking rich people(or their assistants), all chattering away, looking to speedily replenish their caloric intake to fuel another charged afternoon of wheeling and dealing. Time is effing money, if you catch my drift. Although Cosi on the whole is a relatively middling chain in the milieu of Au Bön Pain style, slightly-overpriced lunchtime eateries for the gainfully employed – and there are about five gazillion Cosi’s within firing range – I have to hand it to my homeboys at this location. They handle the masses with the efficiency of a well-oiled, lunchtime-rush machine… and they’re actually nice about it! The lines move smoothly and quickly, and if you catch the eye of the flatbread slicer, he’ll deliver a piping hot end piece straight into your chilled hands. Or, wait about 3 seconds and you can pick it yourself out the bowl of samples in the salad line. The dressing guy is a hottie. The cashiers are friendly. Take it from someone who’s worked in this industry – they have absolutely no reason to be this nice. Foodwise, go for the signature salad, enjoy the free, filling slab of salty delicious flatbread that comes with, and stay as far away from any of their processed, nitratilicious protein offerings as you can. There’s a reason chicken and cat food share the same first letter.
