Worst service ever experienced in whole New York! The bartender Danny is a racist and attacks women. The bartenders are so ignorant in paying attention to the customer that one has to call for them, resulting in them getting aggressive and extremely hostile –calling us immigrants and starting to threaten us with his friends at the bar! Don’t spend your money in a «Make America hate again» spot! These guys are the worst of hipster, lost soul, drugged out Brooklyn produces.

Me and my friend Charlie hung out here today, ordered the Kim chi Bloody Mary(probably the only bloody better/as good as my own Bloody Mary mix. Also had the crabmeat Benedict which was rememberable to say at the least. Service was good and weather was on point. I’ll be back and will definitely be talking about this place for many days to come. Cheers to summer being close! Sooooo. After a great experience last time, we had a horrific experience the second time. We sat down and waiting 15 minutes for a waiter to come up. Finally after 2 other tables got fed up with waiting we finally placed are order(crabmeat Benedict again and victory Pilsner). 15 minutes went by and the waiter came out to let us know our order was in and the drinks are taking a long time. Thanks but we knew that. 10 more minutes, remember this is 45 minutes later, the waiter finally gave the table next to us water. Not us. Finally after more patience then I ever had, I finally mad the decision that this guy was an idiot and we were leaving. As we unlocked our bike he came up and said our food was ready but still no drinks, no water. So to sum it up, I will not be back, I will remove my 5 stars and make it 2. I loved you miss Kim but you need to think about hiring a new staff. Peace out…

Don’t know why this place has such a low score. But works out for me as you don’t get the brunch crowd. Pretty chill vibes and the food is consistently great. Also, best eggs Benedict in Brooklyn.

I have to say that I used to come here frequently… almost for five years! I loved the food and It is the only place with corean food in Greenpoint. However, the quality of the service has decreased substantially. They don’t even treat the client well and they are not helpful if you ask them for something you need. So, you decide if you want food with a mediocre service. The lesson is please don’t say you cannot solve a problem in a restaurant, just try to find a way to help your client.

The food is delicious, the Bloody Mary probably is one of the best I’ve have, but the service is terrible, so… It doesn’t matter if they have good food and drinks if the service is bad.

This place is finally coming back around… I feel like the resturant has its ups and downs. It’s amazing for a couple months and then winter time comes around and it has a down fall! Yesterday everything was on point! The dirty martinis were made to perfection– the olives were delicious as well! There was a decent amount of people and the bar tender/server was great with being on top of everything! We got the pork buns, iceberg salad and bibimbap!!! Everything was delicious! Must go!!! Mrs. Kim is back on point don’t miss it

the brunch is very subpar, to add insult to injury the gratuity was automatically added to the total and then the total amount was taxed(not sure why we had to pay taxes on tips, we were forced to give). no complaints about the service, still seems rather unfair.

Rainy days are always my favorite for restaurant hopping. You can sneak into some great spots without worrying about the usual crowds! I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our experience. Since it was raining, and a slightly unusual time, we got to sit right where we wanted. I’m certainly not an expert when it comes to Korean food, but the Kimchi Bibimbap and Korean Rice Bowl were both delicious and filling. I can’t speak to their authenticity, but they had good flavor at the very least. Our waiter was incredible! It may have been because we were the only customers, but he was extremely friendly, attentive, and even offered up some suggestions for other spots to try when he found out we were not NYC natives. I’m a bit surprised with some of the other reviews for this spot. Keep in mind, Mrs. Kim’s is «Korean Fusion» so the dishes are meant to have some unique twists to them. I recommend trying it out for yourself. You may have as good a time as we did!

Excellent Korean-American fusion restaurant with a chill modern vibe. My dining companion for this meal brought us here on the strength of their Brussels sprouts, which were nothing short of dope. First of all, roasted Brussels sprouts are amazing; top them with fresh, crisp apples and then slather them in miso butter(yes, it is as good as it sounds) and you have perfection. I also very much enjoyed their bibimbap with tofu(safe for vegetarians), which wasn’t very different from bibimbap I’ve had elsewhere, though it did seem to have more vegetables. My friend, the omnivore, loved their hangover stew and despite being very hungry, had plenty leftover because the portions were so generous. We also explored their drink menu — he had a very gingery dark and stormy, and I enjoyed their soju cocktail, which was surprisingly served in a pint glass so turned out to be a great deal. We were here for dinner on a Sunday night, so it was perhaps quieter than usual, but we loved the relaxed yet modern atmosphere. The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. I’m certainly planning on returning, especially for those Brussels sprouts!

The food always hits the spot. Night time staff has been amazing since the era of Rose. Mrs. Kim’s(yes, she and Mr. Kim are real) son runs the place sometimes but he really needs to work on his people skills – he’s a bit stern with customers and staff and that’s never good in a service industry.

Great fusion menu. I am not Korean nor am I a Korean food aficionado so didn’t mind if it was authentic :-) Very tasty food and good service. Loved the Kim Chi Bloody Mary’s!

Amazing food and great service. I had the kimchi bimibop, huge portion but I couldn’t stop eating it. I heard several other customers raving about their food. The waitress/bartender was the sweetest ever!

My husband and I have passed by this place a few times and never thought much of it. We were SOWRONG. We had a totally tasty brunch there this past Saturday. No lines, no attitude, not bullshit. I got the Kimchee Bimbimbop and he got the Crab Cake Benedict and both were delish! It’s rare that a spot can do Korean and American this well. The portions are also huge so I took some of my dish home and enjoyed it the next day. We’ll definitely be going back again soon!

We are definitely not cool enough for this place. A very aloof bartender, almost have to yell to get him to answer. Like talking to someone’s back. Felt VERY unwelcome. Better Korean in Oakland, CA!!!

One of my Go-to spots for lunch/drunch. They’ve got a Malbec for $ 6 a glass that really does the trick. The menu serves up standard American fare(salads, burger, eggs benedict) alongside some Korean deliciousness! I love the Hangover Stew and the bibimbop is perfect for a winter or fall day. The steamed buns and kimchi are tasty and perfect for sharing. An entrée and drink will run you around $ 20, but you’ll be full for the rest of the day. The rice dishes and stews are pretty hearty. They’ve got outdoor seating during the warmer months of the year and I’ve never seen them not-packed during the brunch hours.

This place is the best! I’m becoming quite a regular :) I have no idea how this place is only 3 stars, most of the bad reviews must be old, it’s clear that the owners are constantly working to improve the customer experience(they are often at the restaurant and talking to customers, they’re very friendly and cute) so perhaps at one point it wasn’t as great as it is now. As a native Korean I think I have the authority to say that their Korean dishes(bibimbap, kimchi, etc.) are excellently done and their fusion dishes, lobster kimchi eggs benedict for example, are even better!(Quite well-priced too, I should add) The drinks have a nice korean spin too, try the kimchi bloody mary(if you like kimchi flavor of course)! Two thumbs up! Check it out!

To all the people who enjoy the Korean food here, I’m excited to tell you that Korean food gets better … W-A-Y better than this. Bibimbap here is disappointingly bland and tasteless compared to the true greatness that is bibimbap. The stone pot helps make it fun and seemingly authentic but all it does is make your tasteless food … sizzling tasteless food. Even after dousing it in the sauce and salting it, it was lacking. I’ve tried the bulgogi and tofu soup and I can’t remember what they taste like – probably because they tasted like nothing. Staff was incredibly sweet and friendly though. It has a nice, chill vibe. Probably good for a drink and catching up. It’s really dimly lit at night so it’s a good place to take a date if you’re particularly unattractive. Just kidding. You look great. I know this is weird advice but check out the bibimbap at Flru – yes, the fobby juice shack a few blocks down. You’ll be surprised. And, of course, go to K-Town if you’re ready to go all the way. Anyway, Mrs. Kim – you just aiite.

Surprised this place only has 3 stars. Love their mixed fusion menu. There is something for everyone. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I was craving brunch, while hubby was craving more of an entrée. During summer the whole restaurant is opened up so you feel like you’re outside even if you’re inside. We got a table out on the sidewalk and I has the crab cake Benedict while he had the chicken bibimbap. I thought the portion size for my meal was huge and it was absolutely delicious. The crab cake tasted like it might have come out of the freezer but mixed with the eggs and hollandaise it was spot on. I can only hope they improve on their crab cake in the future, but then again this is supposed to be a Korean joint. My husband loved his meal. It was super fresh and flavorful, came out sizzling! I will definitely be trying it out another day. Despite it’s cute location and eclectic menu Mrs Kim’s was pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon which had me worried at first. But it definitely earned it’s 4 stars and I look forward to coming back.
