Dined on a Friday afternoon with a friend who had remembered this business having worked in the area almost 20 years ago. We arrived a little before 2 pm and my friend was a little disappointed that some of their prepared items appeared to have been sold since we arrived well after lunch; however, there were some other options that seemed appealing. As we were pondering our selections, a gentleman walked out with a tray of tempting calzones. He put a few in a takeout box and placed it near the prepared food items… appearing to be a takeout order. The young lady behind the counter could not have been friendlier. We asked if the leftover calzones on the tray were available and she happily said«yes». We decided to share: a ¼ steak bomb calzone, a ¼ italian calzone along with the aussie chicken. Two small tables were available in the front outside so we opted to sit outdoors. We started with the aussie chicken which is a breaded & fried chicken cutlet topped with a honey sauce, bacon and mushrooms. Tender chicken and yummy sweet and salty mix between the bacon and the sauce. Ample bacon! The ¼ italian was the favorite calzone of the two. The beef in the steak bomb is shaved and had a «meh» flavor. Overall tab around $ 17, great value for the quality and friendliness of the staff. We’d be interested in trying some of their other specialties!

First time stopping here. Would’ve liked to eat at the place, but it’s pretty small and all the tables were taken. Got a hot pastrami/cheese/mustard. Good portions and not bad pricing considering the current prices of pastrami. Only issue I had was there was a little BBQ sauce on the sub(probably got there when slicing the pastrami). Pastrami and BBQ sauce don’t mix well. Other than that, place was pretty good

We got our Thanksgiving luncheon catered from Burlington Cold cut center. At $ 10.99, the meal came with turkey, stuffing and 2 sides and gravy. Everything was lovely. Portions were huge and for 10 people, we had a huge tray of sliced white meat, dark meat and stuffing. The sides came in the aluminum trays and were plentiful. We also ordered eggplant parm and meatloaf and that was a huge hit! I would definitely recommend them if you don’t want to cook but still want to serve a delicious home cooked meal. Prices are very reasonable and owner is super friendly.

Great little sub shop, only a couple of tables but a good selection of hot foods in addition to subs.

love this hidden gem for sandwiches. I havent tried their specials for lunch yet but will do that soon. Had another Italian Cold Cut sub today. Their bread is so fresh and the fixings were yummy too. Nice family run place(I think). Yum– O.

I recently came back and this time it was a lot more satisfying. I had a chicken parm and it was pretty good. Satisfied my hunger for lunch and I’m definitely inclined to keep coming back. It was unfortunate that they stopped serving some of the soups as I was eager to try something different. I’m still a bit unsure to try the chicken soup again, but all that matters is that I had a better experience and the owner is very friendly. He had reached out to me and apologized and offered me a refund. I was fine without the refund, but the fact that he did that shows a lot of good character with the owner. We are only human and we do make mistakes. I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 if I could.

The owner reached out concerned over my experience. This is a very nice touch and much appreciated… will give it another try next time i’m in the area.

Just had the unfortunate experience of eating here. Ordered chicken parm sub and chicken teriyaki wraps. Both were pretty gross. Chicken parm consisted of greasy chicken fingers and unmelted cheese. Chicken teriyaki consisted of salty over cooked chicken and a dripping nasty sauce. We returned the chicken parm without eating it and the owner still forced us to pay for it. Don’t bother going here. Can’t be hard to find better elsewhere.

Wonderful, fresh sliced deli meats for one of about 40 choices of sandwiches. Not to mention the amazing entrees like chicken parm, eggplant, meatballs, mac & cheese, calzones, pizza, haddock. Easy in and out. Great food every time!

My family & I have ate here for years and the food as well as the customer service was top of the line. Recently my family had a bad meal and the owner was not willing to do anything about it, even after a letter I wrote, which was very nice, as to how important customer service is in this day & age. I will go out of my way and pay more money for good customer service any day! Unfortunately, after years of coming there, we will no longer be customers of BCC unless they make some changes. I can only think that they may be under new ownership and the new owner doesn’t understand the value or importance of good customer service!

My company has ordered pasta from this place several times and I’ve always found it tasty. I am particularly a fan of the chicken broccoli ziti. It has a yummy creamy sauce which I prefer over oilier versions. If you’re in a jam for serving a last minute dinner to a crowd this is a great option. The folks here(the owner in particular I think) are super helpful — they can heat your tray of pasta goodness for you, get the heating process started, or serve it up cold depending on your time constraints.

I have had lunch here off and on for years, but it has been a long while and I had almost forgotten about the BCCC. Yesterday I had to take my daughter to the dance place next door for jazz shoes and I am glad she mentioned that she was hungry! I have had their subs and hot meals many times and from the freshe sliced deli meat packed on the Italian to the hot and salty steak and cheese they have all been good. The chicken-ziti is awesome and enough for 2 people. Yesterday I had the mac n cheese. It was hot and gooey and cheesy. I got a «med» which was again enough for two. The BCCC has been a go to lunch place for years and it was good to find out yesterday that nothing has changed.

Pretty good food and good prices. The cold cut sandwiches are great. Some of the prepared foods are lacking in seasoning and can be quite bland. But overall a good place to stop in.

Do commuters to Burlington really call this place«BCCC»? Locally, it’s known as Burlington Deli. This has been around a very, very long time. There’s a little bar to sit at and eat your lunch as you watch cars go by down Cambridge Street, which can lead to fun times; the cops sitting across the street at Dunkies are doing the same thing. Catering portions are big, fresh, and well-presented; however, it can run towards the pricey side for what are just well-made standards. This is four stars for those of you who can eat wheat. The calzones are delicious(although I think there’s excessive pepperoni in the Italian), entrees are massive and delicious, and prices are generally good. However, I am a gluten-free reviewer. Their salads don’t have as much in them as I’d like, their omelets are just okay, and there isn’t much else there for me to eat. Burlington Deli does try, like the time they made me a prosciutto, tomato, and mozzarella thing — but the Italian ham was far too salty. I’d give 3.5 stars if I could, because I feel kinda guilty about leaving only three. Do check out them out if you live or work in Burlington!

The calzones are the hidden gem of this place. I love the eggplant and Italian. If I was to have a last meal, a piece of the Italian calzone would be on the corner of the plate.

Great for their deli selection and very affordable, everything is very fresh and seems to last longer than from Shaw’s nearby. Their salads are just ok. I like my salads chock full of veggies, and theirs is just not that way. The dressing is good and seems homemade. The food under the heaters look great and I will probably be trying it soon! I have never had a sub from here but I expect they will be very good!

Wow. I have lunch catered at work from this fine establishment every so often and it is always 100% awesome. Holy crap are these prices reasonable for the massive amounts of food they give you and it is SOGOOD. I would without reservation stick my you-know-what in each and every item on their menu. I have had the eggplant parm, chicken, brocc & ziti, baked ziti, calzones, salad, etc and it is all amazing. I have heard some grumblings about BCCC’s zealous use of American cheese, particularly in their meatball calzones and eggplant parm. Now, I understand it is a bit unorthodox to use American cheese in eggplant PARMESAN, however, last time I checked a) it was f-ing delicious and 2) we live in America and in America we eat American cheese. So shut up about it. Terrorists. Anyone that doesn’t like this place is an idiot. GIM Burlington Cold Cut Center in my belly!

I had my first eggplant parm sub here over 5 years ago, it was insanely yummy. I was craving the eggplant parm once again, but somewhat fearful that in the course of 5 years something may have changed… no worries. It was just as delicious as I remember, better than Lacascia’s eggplant parm which I’ve had once and wasnt a fan of a having to «chew» through the too thickly sliced eggplant.

Another one of my favorite places over the years! This is a small storefront takeout luncheonette, run by the same family for years. Started as a grocery and sandwich shop, it has morphed into a luncheon takeout specialist, with hot meals, sandwiches and salads. The grocery shelves have been replaced by a rack for chips, refrigerators for cold drinks, and a single deli case. A wraparound counter is the only seating, which is BCCC’s only drawback . But on the entire right side of the store is a long enclosed hot steam counter, which every day is chock full of Italian specialties and American favorites. Stuffed peppers, italian sausage, eggplant, chicken/broccoli and ziti, and chicken cutlets are among the daily offerings, many are priced at around $ 6. Add to that american favorites like a hot turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans, steak tips, and pork loin make this a unique place to get a hot lunch to go. My personal favorite is the chicken cutlet sub at $ 6 for a large. This is one of the places I go to when I want real chicken, not pre-formed patties. It is lightly battered, and served up any way you like it, sauce or not. The sub I got today continued the tradition of a soft Italian sub roll with hot breaded chicken spilling out of it.(I am different, I like mayo, pickles and provolone cheese on mine) I have also been to functions catered by them, and have enjoyed their teriyaki chicken, italian sausage, peppers and onions, chinese BBQ pork loin(the only place I know that carries it), and chicken, broccoli, and ziti. This family pretty much specializes in breakfast and lunch only… not a lot left by dinner time, but the line, while out the door, moves fast. They are located in a small strip plaza, but easy parking is accessible.
