Honestly, finding a good salon is like finding the jackpot. I’ve dealt with my fare share of hair dressers — whether at a high end salon like Ramirez Tran to some random recommendation. Having had my hair butcher and taking ages to grow it out, I am always apprehensive in letting someone handle my locks. This is why I have to say, I am beyond happy to have stumbled upon Salon Nuuvo. Jessie was fantastic at giving me the perfect cut and was extremely professional as well as kind. She added some movement without sacrificing my length. My hair feels and looks so much better. Looking forward to going back again!

I had an event and it just happened to be the same night as prom. They made it work and I got my hair blown out by Yumi and I can’t stress enough that I have NEVER had a better hair experience in all my life. I have worked in entertainment for over a decade and constantly have my hair and makeup done and this was just another level. Amazing scalp massage, soothing environment, sweethearts all around. I met Aarica who does facials and she gave me a sample hand massage to relax me even more than the state of bliss I was already in and I had to schedule a facial with her on the spot to get that same pampering on my face. The girls here have magic hands! My blow out was amazing! I felt like Priscilla Presley… Youngins need to google her is you don’t get that reference, cause she is beauty goals to the highest level. my experience ended with Leah who made my face so very happy! I wanted my makeup like Adele and everyone all night said i had Adele makeup… Spot on! She exceeded my expectations as did everyone in the spot including the girls at the front who even squeezed my little ladies, 12 and 14, in for braids and made them feel so special. It was an awesome night thanks to this incredible find. I will now be a regular!

Went to Salon Nuuvo yesterday for the first time and saw Veronica. An absolutely amazing experience. Veronica took the time to listen to what I wanted and then gave me ideas based on what would work best with my hair. I have very straight, thick hair for a male and somehow Veronica was able to get a textured look that was exactly what I wanted. On a side note, the environment is super friendly and beautiful. Will be going there from now on

I absolutely hate cutting my hair and have never had a good experience doing so. Today I went in to lighten my hair, cut it, and give it more texture. Julie could not have done a better job! My hair looks exactly how I wanted it to. That was the very first time I ever left a salon and was actually excited to show people my haircut! I can’t thank you enough!

If you are looking for THE BEST place to get your beauty needs not only met, but blown out of the water, this is the place to go. My hair is fragile because it is so fine and Raychel only makes it better. Raychel and her team care about what they do and always give 100%. Not to mention the fact that Raychel is dedicated to continuously educating herself and her team so they can always be better then they were yesterday.
Go give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Genevieve is the best! She really made such a difference in my hair. She knows how to give you a cut to accentuate your features and is a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend seeing her if you’re looking for a new cut/​style.

This is by far the best hair salon in Calabasas and the surrounding region! Rachael Harrison has years of runway experience and stays on top of new techniques and products.
For years I bleached my hair making it very damaged. Rachael formulated an all NON bleach coloring formula making my hair soft, long and healthy!
The feeling in the salon is soo healthy. The girls are all friendly. Rachael is an amazing mentor encouraging her stylists to be the best they can. It’s a very positive experience.
I highly recommend Salon Nuuvo!

After a year of searching for a salon with top stylist and products, I finally found Salon Nuuvo. This is as good as it gets!!!
I have fine hair, that had horrible color, and in bad condition from prior stylists. Genevieve is an absolute WIZ!!! My hair has never been better. Great color, condition, and cut. She has made a TOTAL DIFFERENCE in my life. I actually enjoy my hair for the first time!!!

Like many other people, I’ve had my fair share of nightmare visits to salons. In an attempt to fix the last disaster, I happened upon Salon Nuuvo on Unilocal.The ratings on here were great so I gave it a try. And I’m glad I did! Jesse worked magic on my hair. She was able to bring my hair back from the dead and I feel SO much better looking in the mirror! One of the many «best parts» of my experience is that my hair color and highlights look very natural. It looks like I have virgin hair again. Her prices were very good, too. After all was said and done the total for everything was over $ 100 less than another salon had quoted me for the color correction. I’m a very happy customer. Thank you Salon Nuuvo and Jesse for a lovely experience. The salon, staff, and customer service were exceptional. I will never make the mistake of going anywhere other than Salon Nuuvo from now on.

Heather did an amazing job on my hair! I’m absolutely in love with it, even after a month the color still looks fab. I came in with a bunch of ideas and she made it all happen. She’s my new go to !

The owner of the salon called and wrote me a letter and refunded me my haircut fee. He also gave me a voucher for a free haircut with the Manager of the salon. Very nice of him to do that. It’s too bad I can’t find someone to cut my hair like Angelica did. But I will have it cut by the Manager. PS. First time I complained on Unilocal and got a full refund of a product or service.

I came in as a new client a couple of days ago for a blow out and I am absolutely impressed! The salon was beautiful, reception was polite and friendly! My stylist was one of the new girls, Chelsea. The shampoo experience was unlike any other, I was very relaxed after a long and stressful day! Lol. To top it off, my blow out had me strutting out of there like I was on a cat walk! I mean. WOW! I looked so good, she did such a fabulous job and she was so much fun :) I can’t wait to rebook with her for the holidays!

I recently moved to the Calabasas area and was in need of a great hairstylist. Unilocal indicated that Salon Nuuvo was top-​rated so I gave them a call. I was able to get a same-​day appointment with Jillian.
The salon is gorgeous, clean and the staff very welcoming!
During the wash process Jillian gave a very much appreciated head and neck massage then offered a lavender and steam towel treatment… ahhhhh.
Jillian performed a very professional consultation and offered her recommendation which I gladly accepted. I came in with alot of damage due to a straightening process with perm solution about six months ago and I came away with a fantastic cut and style.
I will be back soon to enjoy a facial and some of their other offerings.

I came here on a whim because I was in dire need of a cut since my ends were bleached to all hell. My normal stylist that Ive gone to for almost 10 years is far (Pasadena) and always booked about 2 weeks out (which is obviously good for her and shows how great she is but sucks for me and my last minute planning).
I briefly searched Unilocal and found Salon Nuuvo and called. They said they had 2 appts available for that afternoon. One with Angelica and the other with Anne. I hadn’t really thoroughly read any of the reviews so I took a stab in the dark and said I’d see Anne.
First off, the space is GORGEOUS. Clean and well maintained and very relaxing.
I liked that Anne sat down next to me to discuss what we were going to do. I showed her a few pics and explained what I wanted and what I wanted to get rid of. She took her time to cut my hair which I appreciated especially since I was nervous about getting my hair cut somewhere new. I love my new cut and my hair looks a million times healthier and better thanks to Anne!

I found this salon on Unilocal.All the reviews were amazing, and I needed to find a salon ASAP due to a not so great haircut I got a few days before hand. I knew I couldn’t live with the cut until it grew out, and then I found ANNE at Salon Nuuvo. They took me same day, and Anne worked her magic and gave me the greatest cut. I am very very picky, and a girls hair is everything! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anne. She is truly an amazing stylist. She first spent some time with me listening to me and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted in the first place. She made me feel totally comfortable and in good hands. I can say I will not be going anywhere else, and would recommend this salon and Anne to anyone! You will not be disappointed, totally worth every penny.

Perhaps the best hair washing ever. Seriously. Great massage, refreshing facial spritz, invigorating neck and shoulder massage, omg.
That being said, after that, the blowout is great. I love Jessie, Anne, and Angelica for blow outs. Their personalities and styles are all very different, but they do great blow outs! If you want extra hot tools (flat iron, curling iron, etc), it is an additional charge (which I don’t always love, but it’s apparently the standard now).
If you love it when you come here, buy a series of blow outs, you’ll save yourself some money! Making appointments and parking are both quite simple. Thanks, Salon Nuuvo!
