I did not like this place at all, the inside is very small, the tables are on top of each other with no room to walk. It was expensive and the food was gross, I ordered pasta with red sauce and it tasted like they poured a whole bag of sugar in the sauce, also gave me a stomach ache for 3 days, very disappointed.

Great place to eat. I am Italian and don’t eat Italian food out often because I am so picky about it. But tonight I was craving Fried Calamari over linguini with medium hot sauce. So I got in the car and drove 38 miles to get here. And I can honestly say(aside from feeling stuffed) the service was great and the food really was worth the ride! They start with a fresh baked mini loaf of bread with seasoned herds and olive oil for dipping. That in itself is good. The meals are really nicely sized and even the largest appetite won’t leave hungry. I love this place! The wait may be longer than you like but don’t leave. You’ll be happy you didn’t.

This place is horrific. We went on a Tuesday night. The service was not friendly or caring. The food was awful and the bill was expensive. We all had not been there in years. The waiter seemed frustrated and did not care whether or not we had napkins or if we liked our meals or any of the above. It was also beyond loud. What a shame. If you are looking for a nice Italian restaurant this should be last on your list. Trust me.

I am stuffed!!! So much yummy food. The servings are huge. I’ve been here a few times and I always have lots of food to take home. The service is great. Once seated, they started us off with some bread and their Rosemary infused olive oil. We also had 1 free appetizer courtesy of my Unilocal check in :-). We went with mozzarella sticks. As for the main course, I ordered the penne ala vodka and my dad ordered the chicken parm. You can choose what kind of pasta you would like(penne, spaghetti, linguini etc.). Usually, we never make it to dessert because we are always too stuffed but it was a special occasion. The crème brûlée was so good and they use the torch right at the table!

Mass produced food gets 1 star. $hitty service gets 1 star. Pound of pasta that is only going to get wasted when it’s thrown away, gets 1 star. Dirty restaurant gets 1 star. Bug in my wine gets 1 star. I guess if you add them all up they would be 5 stars!

Have been a more frequent customer to Vincent’s in Carle Place both dine-in and take out. Plenty to choose from the menu selection for the entire family and friends. The Family Take-out options are GREAT! It says it serves 3 – 4 people but if your family are ‘normal’ portion eaters, the servings can serve closer to 5 – 6 ppl easily. Friendly service, even during super busy time, the service does not feel rushed and servers are always attentive. Highly recommend!

Relatively«light» Italian dishes. Unlike other Italian places, often sauces are overpowering and oily. Professional waitress. Right on time services. Good complimentary house made fresh bread with delicates sun dried tomato olive oil and some kind fried veggie mini cake in generous tomato sauce. Fried calamari was so crispy. Shrimps tasted better without sauce for me. I walked out without feeling loaded calories. Lol. Over all, good experience here after my girl friend raves about here numerous times.

Dishes are expensive, but the portions were huuuuge. The value is excellent — I had a full meal and a snack from my chicken parm dinner leftovers. Food quality was excellent and sauce was unique and tasty. They didn’t get 5 stars because the server was a bit cold and not too enthusiastic. I hope to change this review if I make it back.

Long Island, NY May 1520168pm The service and food in this resturant are on point. I came here after my graduation. Jonathan our waiter made my family of 9& I experience a delight. We started of with complimentary bread with their special herbs and spices. Sounds weird? But it all blends in together. After we got our appetizers we got calamari and breaded mozzarella stick after we all ordered different meals, my boyfriend ordered chicken parm and I ordered the rigatonni alla vodka with grilled shrimp. The portions were HUGE. Tips: Order the grandma pie for the table, its delicious! Make reservations because it gets extremely packed luckily I made one and we did not wait long to be seated but even at 8pm on a Sunday this restaurant is jam packed. The live music was a plus! We all had a wonderful time here at Vincent restaurant and once again I want to thank our waiter Jonathan who really made our experience here unforgettable with his outstanding service.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night for the first time Pros: — Love the ambiance — I felt like I was transported back to Italy; there’s plenty of chatter going around but you can still hear your friends speak; the décor is so old school loved it — The mini meatball appetizer was absolutely amazing — the meatball was moist and firm with their Vincent sauce(best meatballs I’ve had so far in my life) — comes with 7 meatballs — One of their signature dish — eggplant parm was to die for — we got it with linguini and the portion size can feed up to 4 people! The linguini and eggplant were extremely fresh — Ended it with their Cannoli Sundae — we were expecting a sundae you know in a glass bowl not no, it was a waffle bowl! The waffle bowl contained fudge at the bottom with cannoli cream, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate chips — we were in heaven because the cannoli cream wasn’t overly sweet — Before the appetizer comes they give you bread and a plate full of spices in which you pour the olive in — taste so freaking good — Great service — Huge portion sizes — had to split everything! — Clean bathroom Cons: — None! I definitely have to come back to try their seafood — looks really fresh!

Just left having a fantastic experience. Let’s start with Chris, our server who was friendly, patient and funny. We started with the burnt brocvoli which I’ve had before there, today’s was under par. Moved onto some calamari arrabiata which was amazing and accompanied by a few tanquray and tonics. For lunch I jad shrimp scampi over zucchini linguini and my eating partner had eggplant rolletini in their hot sauce. Everything was delicious! Service was amazing– Chris really out did himself by buying us a napoleon at the end. Well played sir! Thank you Vincent’s for an amazing lunch!

We came here with a big party group. The portion of food was huge, we barely finished our own entrée. I personally love seafood and Italian, so this place is perfect for me. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the service and food we had. There’s one thing I would like to point out, the live band was way too loud… we could hardly hear each other. After we talked to the staff, the Manager asked the band to take a break. They really care about every customer! I will come back for both their service&food!

Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome! My new favorite lunch place. Their specials are great. Mon-Fri pasta, pizza, wraps with salad or choice of soup. All for around $ 12 bucks! I had the chicken ceased wrap and the bread bowl New England clam chowder. Totally delicious and my friend got the Chicken Parm Pasta. HUGE portions. Deff worth the stop in. I advised the waiter we were there for lunch and it was super quick. I blinked had a water and bread with oil. Blinked again & our food was on the table. I missed our waiters name but he was super nice. Can’t wait for lunch!

Visited for my Birthday dinner with Bonnie G. and a group of four close friends. We waited for awhile as we wanted a corner banquette to seat the group comfortably. I met Bobby, the owner who runs the dining room and discussed the dinner plans and that we wanted Baked Clams made fresh with large clams(they dont do that as a rule)…he was so nice and said for my BD he would do it! After being seated, Bobby turned us over to Nick, our waiter par excellance. He took care of us like we were his only table. which we were not! Bobby even sent over a bottle of wine for the table to enjoy… a touch of class! We ordered a multitude of Appys including the Baked Clams, mini meatballs, caesar salad, lettuce wedge. All terrific in both size and taste. Then it was time to go for the mains… although at this point we were filling up. We got: * 2 Chicken Parms — large, tender and delicious * 1 Eggplant Rollatini– perfect with tender eggplant filled with sweet Ricotta and covered with tasty Fra Diavolo sauce. The accompanying side of Angel Hair with FD sauce was huge. * Grilled Salmon — large piece of beautifully grilled fish with veggies * two pasta dishes * For dessert we were comped both a Napoleon with candle and a delicious Crème Brulee torched tableside! And we had the most decadent Brownie Sunday ever! Thanks for the wonderful dinner at Vincent’s…we all enjoyed ourselves and partied hardy!

Amazing is an understatement. Their sauce is truly famous for a reason. I have NEVER had a tomato sauce that was so balanced and so flavorful. Not oily, it’s a TOMATO sauce. Thick enough to cover your pasta and not pool at the bottom of the plate. The portions are hugeeeee and they don’t skimp on a damn thing here. If we didn’t eat all of our bread, I would’ve cleaned every drop of that sauce off the remaining pasta. We skipped dessert, with huge regrets but we were far too full. I’m going back for seconds and saving room for dessert! The bread pudding and cannoli sundae looked outrageously good. PS. My husband had calamari parmigiana. Tender and delicious, and calamari is easy to make into rubber bands. I had the shrimp balls parmigiana, best Italian dish I ever had. Not even joking.

How have I not written a review for Vincent’s ?! I’ve dined in numerous times. I love the warm Italian atmosphere and the waitstaff is friendly and wants you to really enjoy your night out. I’ve never had something I didn’t like here. Maybe their marinara is a little on the sweet side, but I still like it. Their portions are generous and the quality of their food is very good. Fresh fresh fresh. The place is always busy so you know their food isn’t sitting around very long. I come here every so often to get the family take out meal which is Mon-Thursday for $ 35(plus tax) you can pick 1 entrée from 3 sections — a pasta, chicken(or eggplant Parm) and a veggie. Says it feeds 4 people but you can feed more! Comes with their fresh bread, cheese and olive oil. The penne ala vodka is one of my favs, my dad loves their bolognese and we also get the chicken Marsala and sautéed broccoli in garlic and oil. You can also add on a pizza for an additional $ 10 — grandma, Neapolitan or Margherita. Got a grandma last night and it was delicious ! A slightly thinner crust than most pizza places, but the sauce, cheese and seasoning was perfect. And for $ 10 you can’t beat it. Tastes good cold in case you were wondering. On past occasions I’ve also had their lobster bake with clams and eggplant Parm both great.(I just had to battle with the lobster to actually eat it so I suggest not getting that on a first date) The owner is very nice and thanked us for coming in with a big smile. Love this place. Parking can be tough if you want a spot in front of the restaurant, not to fret, there’s department stores around with parking, you’ll just have to walk a little further.(just think of it as burning off all that pasta you just ate ;)).

Italian comfort food at its best in an adorable, homey restaurant! We came in at around 7:30pm on a Sunday and it was bustling! The restaurant itself is large with ample(yet tight) seating with tables really close to each other. In true Italian flair, all of the dishes were also very LARGE and suitable for family style(think 1 plate for 2 people). The service was also very friendly. –1 star for the pasta noodles and the weird chunk of plastic I found in my water cup. Wish the pasta were more al dente! What we ordered: Fried calamari: Yes yes and yes. Delicious, perfectly fried and came to the table really fast while we were hungry. Must try! Lobster Kiss: It comes baked in the foil and the server grandly cuts it open for you revealing amazing pasta. It was a delicious red sauce that was not too acidic, slightly creamy, and slight sweet. Rigatoni with broccoli rabe and chicken: Highly recommended! The chicken was nice and juicy, the broccoli rabe was cooked well, and it was relatively light yet extremely flavorful Cannoli sundae: Not crazy about this but still think it was a great dessert choice, loved the cannoli chips it came with. Tip: Call ahead to ask for wait time or make a reservation so you don’t get stuck waiting outside ;)
