Farr Eyecare Group

First, the doctor is wonderful. That’s the only good thing about this place. I went for contact lenses. After my initial appointment, I was in the exam room and they sent another customer into the room to take out her contacts because they were so overbooked. The doctor was apologetic and I accepted that. Things happen. Then, I called to order my contacts. The girl I spoke with on the phone first told me I would only be able to get 6 months of contacts. When I told her I would buy them somewhere else, she put me on hold and came back to state she verified it would be for one year. I placed my order and my insurance paid 120.00 which left me to pay 50.00 and I paid over the phone. When the contacts came in, I went to the office and the girl at the front treated me like a moron and told me it’s for 6 months. I tried to explain what conversation I had with the girl on the phone but she didn’t want to listen. I told her I didn’t want the contacts because I could get glasses that last me a year instead of contacts for 6 months for that price. She said she could refund the money but she would have to get it approved by several people and it would take a while. What was I supposed to do while they got the credit back to my insurance? I feel like I was forced to keep theses contacts that I could’ve gotten for much less elsewhere! And the girls that sit at the front desk and answer the phones need to be trained properly. I’ve been there twice. Once for glasses last year and then this travesty. I’ll never go back to them or lenscrafters.

I have been seeing Dr. Farr since I was 15 years old, and while I’ve moved all around the valley, I continue coming to see him for all of my eye care needs. One of my favorite things about him is the fact that he always remembers me, even if I only come in once a year, and he always remembers details about me — when I graduated high school and college, when I was going on a trip to Europe with my mom, getting engaged, getting married, etc. I usually don’t ever write reviews, but I am such a fan of his even more today. I have been struggling ordering some contacts through his office and somewhere along the line, his staff ordered the wrong lenses by accident and once the correct ones were ordered, they weren’t ever delivered to my house. As you can imagine, after two weeks of dealing with back and forth phone calls trying to make the situation right, I was told by one of his staff member’s that someone would be delivering my contacts to my home tonight at 7pm. I was extremely grateful for them to go that extra step to fix the problem, but I couldn’t believe that DR. FARR HIMSELF delivered them to my home. I can’t imagine any other doctor, EVER, doing a home delivery like that. Not that my patronage was ever compromised to begin with, but I will DEFINITELY continue to gladly be one of Dr. Farr’s patients. It’s such a wonderful feeling being treated like a person whom you know your doctor cares about, rather than just a number or a dollar sign. Thank you again, Dr. Farr, and your wonderful staff for your exceptional customer service.

Our family has been going to Dr. Farr for years. Dr. Farr is really the best. He takes his time with you, provides options, very through and professional. Excellent customer service, great location in Chandler Mall, staff is courteous. Highly recommend Farr Eyecare Group!

Dr. Farr is very thorough and has been taking care of our family for years. His staff is friendly and great to work with. I know I get great eye care when we go there. We have been through eye surgery, contacts, glasses. etc., all under Dr. Farr’s care.

Great Doctors! It was easy to make and get an appointment. The doctor was very friendly and thorough.

I had a good experience here. Very professional while being friendly and accommodating at the same time. They were busy, but took the time and effort to make me feel like I was their only patient. Some people that came in after me had a problem with booking an appointment online. I would suggest calling for an appointment instead of online booking.

Very busy at this time of year. Had to wait 35 minutes for my eye exam but Dr. Farr is a really neat doctor and very good at answering all your questions about your eyes or contacts or glasses. I’ve been coming here for years. I just should remember not to make an appointment in December!!!

Dr Farr is very patient and thorough. I have been to other eye doctors before and left confused and feeling unvalued. I need assistance to see and the team here made my whole experience very informative and Dr Farr has taken the time to find the perfect brand of contacts for me. I will be a customer for life!

I am glad I came here!!! I went with a previous eyecare professional the last few years with very bad service, because of habit (my first couple of visits had been great). It is amazing the difference between the two! We had exams with both Dr. Farr and Dr. Patel. Great doctors who really are caring and easy to deal with. They got us in on time and explained any concerns with us in an easy to understand manner. Thank you!

Very pleased with the office– I liked being able to schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments online. I also really like Dr Patel– he was very thorough and very pleasant! I really have no complaints other than some assistants seeming to not really want to be there, but then again I was there late in the day so it could’ve been they just wanted to go home already. Lol I’ve been there before so I could totally see that being one of those days for them. Other than that I enjoyed my experience!

The staff were friendly. It was easy to get in and Dr Farr is the best. Definitely worth the drive from Mesa.

I have been seeing Dr. Farr for about 13 years now and he’s fantastic! The staff has obviously changed throughout the years but they are always friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve never had any issues with the service or the staff!

I had a very good experience with the Farr Eyecare Group. The technician was thorough in gathering my preliminary readings and offering me options for additional evaluations for eye health without giving me a hard sell. Dr. Craig Farr has a calm demeanor that makes a person feel comfortable to ask additional questions if needed. His feedback was truly valuable in helping me make a choice about eyewear (I wear both glasses and contacts). Also, for those of you who appreciate technology, they are using all the latest gadgets… even to fit my eyeglasses. So cool. I definitely will recommend them to my family and friends. And PS: They were busy because I was there on July 3^rd, but I received great service, never felt rushed or like a number, and my glasses were actually done in under an hour!

Wrong information given about contacts pricing. Long wait in lounge even though we were the only ones there, they asked us to come in due to the holiday rush. Will never go back and will find a new doctor for 2015.
