Honestly, this place is so much better then the last restaurant that used to be here. The burgers were on point and the drinks solid. Heck, just those two alone will have me coming back time and time again when I am in the mood for a burger or can convince my gf that we should have a burger. Being that it is so nice out right now, I am a huge fan of their outdoor patio space like many of the other restaurants on the same street.

25 Degrees is not my favorite spot. I came here to the new Wicker Park location on a Friday evening with two friends and we were seated right away at a high top. Immediately I was bothered by the noise /volume in the place. Call me old, but I like to hear a conversation while I eat. They were playing the Hawks game with volume on, and playing music during the commercials. The volume was similar to that of a rowdy sports bar rather than a restaurant. This docks major points in my book. As for the food, the burgers #1−6 are all pretty experimental. The most«traditional» of the options is the #6, but there’s also an option to create your own burger. I ordered the #6, and our table got the sweet potato fries to share. I liked the sweet potato fries a lot, but I’d rate my burger as mediocre as best. The burger itself was incredibly messy, to the point where it made eating it a complete chore. The bun was soggy with all the sauce and was disintegrating. Every bite resulted in tons of liquid spilling out of the burger. Although it was tasty, the presentation was a total bust. I would return to give them one more shot, but there are plenty of other burger spots I much prefer.

Staff was really nice. Deviled eggs were a bit sour due to the cream they sat on. Got the #1 Burger and added a fried egg. Overall was cooked well and toppings were really good, but the meat itself lacked flavor. Fries were delish! Would def try it again.

Excellent brunch! 3 of us came here on Saturday morning and were pleasantly surpirsed to find out about their $ 10 bottle of sparkling special(which also comes with a carafe of juice). Kind of a no brainer when you consider that some places charge $ 7+ for just one single mimosa. I was also happy to see that their delicious burgers are available during brunch(my favorite is the ahi tuna one!). I ended up ordering the breakfast sandwich, which was delicious and just the right size PLUS it was not greasy at all. It came with a side salad of arugula. My friend had one of the scrambles that she also enjoyed, especially the truffle potatoes. My husband had the bleu cheese burger and had no complaints there either. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We sat outside with our dog and when it started drizzling a bit, she offered us a highboy table under the awning that kind of straddles the inside/outside, which was perfect as we avoided getting wet and could still stay with our pup.

I’ve been to the River North location a few times, but I finally made it here for the Burger Binge week. It’s got a good amount of outdoor seating and the inside is nice too. The décor reminds me of a boudoir, take that as you’d like. The menu is solid. It’s small but to the point. Everything they do, they do well. My friends and I all had the #6 because that was our $ 5 option. I have never had a better $ 5 burger in my life. I obviously would also pay the $ 12-$ 14 normal price point, but I love to save money. We also split the half and half(sweet potato and regular fries) for the table, and later split the cinnashake. All the beers on tap are good choices, and decent pricing. Everything was incredible and my friends who had never been loved it! It started to rain when we were sitting outside and the waitstaff moved quickly to get us seated inside. Our waiter was great all night.

Came back to 25 Degrees tonight for the Unilocal Burger Week. First of all, I don’t think there could be a better event! The outdoor seating at 25 Degrees is phenomenal. The view is beautiful, the lights they have strung are awesome… thoroughly enjoyed my time. The meal was also good. I think the key to having a good burger there is to order medium. We both thought it was a perfect medium. From a flavor perspective, the ingredients do most of the talking. I wouldn’t say the patty has a strong, smokey/grilled flavor… it’s more of a blend of the cheese, vegetables, and the special sauce. Good to me… I love a nice cheese and some fresh toppings. If you’re going for more of a theme burger, like a strong truffle flavor etc., I don’t know that you will find quite what you’re looking for. 25 Degrees specializes more in classic burgers with really good quality ingredients. Or, you can build your own! Now for the showstoppers: — I love their fries. Thin and amazingling seasoned — The bloody marys have an excellent take on zing zang with a bit of a twist –That brussels/cauliflower dish is supreme. Any type of charred vegetable will be my go to! — The service is quite good I would say… I was a bit of a mess trying to execute my check-in for Burger Week, and the waitress was super patient and accommodating Nice neighborhood spot that I recommend… you can’t beat the location! Came here yesterday with my boyfriend and left feeling good but not great. To start with, when we came in, no one said hello or anything. They just kinda stared at us and we just were just standing at the entrance thinking, «uhh what do We do?! Seat ourselves or??» One lady came up to and and said«You can sit here» My boyfriend was like, «Hi and thanks.» And literally no joke the server just sarcastically smiled. After she left, my boyfriend and I were like, should we stay here or leave. Because of how awkward everything already was. A second lady then started pouring water and was like, «are you guys eating?!» We said yes. Still no «hello» at this point. Where is everyone’s manners? Come on. The lady who sat us turned out to be our server as well. She then turned pleasant after we ordered our drinks. To sum this up, cocktails are expensive and the burgers were good. I had the tomato soup and it was good too. Not sure if we will be coming here again or not. Maybe if we get tired of our favorite spots for the week and are craving a different flavor.

Super cute place, love the Décor especially the chandeliers… Our server was superb(the girl w/magenta hair with bangs)… We started if w/an «adult» shake: the Irish carbomb shake. It was delish one def have to try it. I had the grill cheese w/added on soup(tomato: add for $ 2) & my friend had the chicken nachos, both entrees delish. Love the ambience of the place, reasonable price. It’s located in west town(wicker park/Bucktown area). Try it out… BONAPPETITE!!!

This place is great! The staff is really nice, and we were able to get seated as a group of five very quickly on a Sunday evening. I appreciated the option for a veggie burger, and this was one was very flavorful and delicious. It has beets! I also had a Paper Plane — which was delicious. I like a strong cocktail and this fit the bill.

Great spot to hang out with friends or a loved one if your in the mood for great drinks and some classic bar food. I tried one of their cocktails called the Stone Sour which consisted of gentlemen’s Jack, lemon and egg white. The drink was simply fantastic. My wife tried a drink called Red Head In The Bed which consisted of kettle one, champagne float, lemon, and strawberries. It was very tasty. Soaked up the alcohol with some chicken wings(buffalo blue). They got the job done. I’m a big fan of the location, you can simply take you pick up and down division on which bar you want to hang at.

Came here with my husband, my 7 year old son(it was his bday dinner) and my 4 month old daughter on a Tuesday afternoon. We were the first ones there. They have happy hour mon-fri 4pm-7pm with $ 4 draft beers, $ 4 wells and ½ off apps! You can’t beat that. Their drafts selection was very good. We had the bacon wrapped dates(delicious), and the chicken nachos. Each individual chip was towering with topping so amazing! Not a chip left behind! I enjoyed the number 6 hubby got the number 3 and my son got the create your own with just cheese. We all loved our burgers! Delicious and very well made. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff was very attentive even as the place began to get busier. We will definitely be back again. Oh and some great trivia we learned the reason they call it 25 degrees bc it’s the temperature difference between a raw burger and well done. Booyah!

This place has a great atmosphere. I had the number 3 with a veggie patty which is beat-based. Added an egg to it and it came out delicious. The tomato soup was missing something so I asked for bread and it made everything better. $ 13/burger $ 5 soup. Delicious dinner.

I’ve been to both locations and this is one of the best burgers in the city… kind of a «hidden gem» for now at least! We came during Happy Hour by accident and they had ½ price apps and $ 4 drafts; definitely a good deal. The build-out here is about 3X the size of the original location and is beautiful! The bar area in particular was really done right; really liked the«Projection TV» on the brick behind the massive granite bar. so cool! I thought the draft list was pretty extensive with like 12 selections of locals and such with the food menu being the same as the original location. I always get the #1 and Onion Rings here. We had great service from the bartender and stumbled down to the Queen Mary Tavern for a capper! Get Dat Did

2.5 stars. I am a bit surprised by the great reviews. I was disappointed and miss Barley & Brass. We tried to go for dinner one night but didn’t want to wait an hour. Instead, we decided to come back for lunch on the weekend later and ultimately, I’m glad we didn’t wait an hour. I was not impressed with the burger at all. The concept is good but missed on the execution. I had the Number Six burger. It is 24oz patties, mustard, pickles, caramelized onions, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and thousand island dressing. I’d describe it as a grown up Big Mac and it sounds delicious. It was cooked as ordered. Yet, it was very bland. It lacked salt. I also thought it was too greasy. In addition to the burger, we split a small order of the fries. They were very hot but also bland and again was screaming for salt(and no salt on the table either). I am rounding up to 3 stars for good service and good drinks. I enjoyed my cider on draft and they had a pretty good drink list. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Yet, it is hard to get over a not-so-good first impression and I doubt I’ll be back.

I’ve heard some good things about their other location, but decided to check out this one, one night. We were in the mood for a good burger, but not waiting in a 90 min Au Cheval line as our hunger had turned us into hangry folk. It was a pretty quiet night, plenty of seating. Sat at a booth towards the back. Pretty brocade walls, dracula movie-esque chandeliers… the decorum has me salivating for a bloody burger to sink my teeth into. Ha. I really like the late 90’s/early 2000’s rap music playing, and I’m singing along! Not too loud, but I’m entertaining us! Our server is pretty knowledgable with the menu and makes some suggestions. They have a variety of drinks from spiked shakes and spiked sodas, and some adult floats(Ohhhhh behave!) I choose the bananas foster shake. Captain Morgan spiced rum, Myer’s rum floater, banana, butterscotch, served in a tall old fashioned dessert glass that is frosty, and whipped cream topped. Its creamy, delightful, and super thick. My cheeks are sucked in to get it down. I appear to have«Zoolander» face. It’s like burning calories using my cheek muscles while inhaling about a thousand calories. This could work! Tried the deviled eggs. Tasty enough, but the inside filling was not right. Too much cooked yolk, not a creamy consistency. The bacon bits were crunchy, and there seems to be a garlic aioli schemer under the eggs, topped with a small shard of parmesan crisp. 3 halves of egg though for $ 6. Not enough eggs in this basket to justify the price. I crafted my own burger. It comes out wrapped in parchment which I love(In-and-Out style). The patty is thick, sirloin. Arugula, roasted tomato, prosciutto, fontina, truffle aioli on a very buttery bun. Partner in crime has a number 3. It’s not overwhelmingly spicy, just a perfect amount of heat and flavor on point. Sweet potato fries are served in a cute Chinese take out food box, but are too crisp and a bit flat. Meh The burgers and the shakes. That’s what I’ll come back for. Oh, yeahhhhhhh boi #flavaflavapproved

We came in late, just 30 min before closing. Nevertheless, they reopened the kitchen especially for us. We ordered buffalo wings, hamburger #6, fries and a spiced milkshake with Rom. They all very GREAT! Highly recommend, just be hungry! They also do happy hour, so make sure to check that as well!

Great happy hour spot. Half off appetizers and $ 4 drafts. — Veggie burger patty was NOT Boca! Forgot to ask if it was made in-house but would be surprised if it was not homemade — Cauliflower and brussel sprouts were amazing — Onion rings were huge, crispy and actually stayed together instead of the onion sliding out — Fries were good but not great — Did I mention $ 4 drafts? — Both of my friends had the Cuban sandwiches which looked great and they seemed to enjoy — The music selection was really good and at a volume that allowed for conversation The service was quick and attentive and the décor was bar chic. I will definitely be back.

I have discovered a new place to put on my list of «places to get a great burger». The service was great and the music did not overtake our conversation, which is rare in a burger place. I ordered the #6. Your basic double cheeseburger with all the regular stuff, lettuce, tomato, onions and special sauce on a very soft bun. I love greasy burgers that slide all over the bun, and this one was a great example. Came with very good fries and I ordered a chocolate banana virgin shake to round out this amazing meal. The shake was perfect. Décor was chic tavern and the folks there are all friendly. We were asked by two different people how are meals were. That shows they really care, we will return without a doubt.
