Red Pearl Chicago

Pros: Shari is very professional and courteous. The décor is lovely and the nail techs are nice.
Cons: There isn’t a drying table.
My experience: I went late on a weeknight and they accommodated me. Everyone was pleasant. I noticed that the polish on my toes was not even. But I didn’t mind because no one looks that closely at toes polish.
Unfortunately, my nail polish wasn’t even. Not was the shape of my nails. And the polish started so far back on my nails that it looked as if my nails had grown out for a week.
I called the next day to voice my displeasure and Shari invited me to return for a do-​over. She asked a different tech to polish my nails. It was better – but still not good. I left with paint remnants on the side of my fingers.
Hopefully with more practice, the technicians will perform better polish jobs. Until then I won’t be returning to this establishment.

Oh wow this is a true find. The nail tech is so super awesome. They don’t rush. They are friendly and they are very good. The shop is pretty and clean. The music is soothing. I will be back. This was my first time here !

Treated myself to a fabulous Pedi at Red Pearl. Ariel did an awesome job and I was truly treated to a luxurious service. By the time we got to the paraffin dip I was a almost napping (which for me is a very good thing). The owner was suuuuper sweet waiting on me while I was soaking in the pedi chair. Can’t wait to go back!

This review is mainly about my mani/​pedi experience. Ariel is one of the nicest, personable, easy-​going, positive persons I’ve ever met! I immediately felt at ease and comfortable talking to her as she did my nails. She did an immaculate job to boot! Nails were on FLEEK mode lol! I usually like to do my nails at home, myself, relaxing with a glass of wine by my side. But I believe that Ariel has found a new customer in me. Plus, they offer water, tea and wine there. So I might as well treat myself:).
Shari, the owner I believe, is also very nice and personable, as well. She does a great job of checking to make sure you’re doing okay and taken care of properly.
There’s a small lot behind the storefront but you have to still walk around to the front. There’s also plenty of street parking.

Beautiful spa with upscale décor and friendly staff. I called for a same day appointment and spent my afternoon chatting with the ladies– had a great time. Loved my mani and pedi! However my nails chipped the next day and by three days my toes chipped. It was a holiday wknd so I wasn’t cleaning etc to have my nails chip so quickly. :-(it was a beautiful color but vibrant so I had to remove. Chipping nails and toes was my only disappointment, next visit I will try a different polish.
If you want great service in a relaxing zen like environment you need to go to Red Pearl!!!

This spa is so swanky, sexy and elegant. My boyfriend treated me to a hour long hot stone deep tissue massage for Mother’s Day!!! From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and hello from Addie, the owner!!! She was very welcoming and accommodating. John was my massage therapist. He started off the massage by first giving me a piece of chocolate. #nom #nom. The spa room was very cool, with beautiful and peaceful murals on the wall… Wish I would’ve taken a pic. Now I’m a total spa girl who lived in Sonoma county for 5 yrs, so I know my spas!!! John massaged my scalp and even my sternum and belly with the hot stones! Let’s just say I felt über relaxed post massage!!! This place is truly a gem… I can’t wait to take my mom for a girly spa day!!!

I was in Chicago for the weekend and looking to relax. I’d never had a mani-​pedi before, and found Red Pearl through the Unilocal app.
I was not disappointed. A lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great pedicure that made my weary feet feel so much better.
My fingernails look great, too. It was worth the visit and when I come to Chicago I will return. Go!

My boyfriend and I came in one Saturday morning for pedicures and were so pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism and class this salon offers! As soon as we walked through the door the lady at the front desk took our coats and offered us drinks. She has the warmest smile and demeanor. We happily accepted and were introduced to our nail Techs who were the sweetest women ever! The salon is beautifully decorated, the lighting is exquisite, and the presentation is the best I have ever seen for a nail salon. I am so excited to come back for a massage! Both nail techs did a great job with our pedicures and were very friendly/​welcoming! This is the classiest nail salon I have ever visited and I know my boyfriend and I will make monthly visits to Red Pearl!

Needed to pamper myself on a Monday. I Unilocaled nail salons and found Red Pearl. Beautiful and comfortable environment. Nice selection of polish colors. I was offered wine and other beverages and chatting was at a minimum. Which I liked. I have already sent my friend there and will send more.

Moved to the area last summer and I have been on the hunt for a nail salon. I think I have found my new salon. I was in desperate need of a mani/​pedi and called hoping to get an appointment. They were able to accommodate me and I was impressed with the ambiance. I truly enjoyed my mani/​pedi and the complimentary beverages. I will definitely be returning.

Great mani-​pedi, nice ambience, friendly and attentive staff. Clean, relaxing. Great choice of polishes, and I particularly like that they have Zoya — tried it for the first time at Red Pearl! Only complaint was time — the whole experience took nearly three hours. I’m used to getting in and out much quicker for the same job. That said, I was very happy with the job Brianna did on my nails! Will definitely be coming back!

I took advantage of the $ 35 Thursday night mani/​pedi special. Stacey is awesome! She took her time and did a great job. The space is clean and relaxing. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back.

i really needed a pedicure & manicure as i had not braved the elements the past couple weeks. i usually go to a salon near work (south suburbs) but decided to search salons around my house.
found red pearl, called & made an appointment for the afternoon.
from the moment i walked in until i left, i loved the experience. i felt very underdressed as i was in an oversized sweatshirt & yoga pants — i was still treated very well.
stacey did my nails & we had a blast, we talked & laughed nonstop. what an amazing, professional young lady! as a teacher, i enjoy seeing young people living out there dreams & goals with such excitement & passion. my services were wonderful —

i wasnt expecting such a wonderful spa experience but it is exactly what you will find at this little gem in the south loop.

I went to Red Pearl for a deep tissue massage on a recommendation from a friend. I walked out 90 minutes later feeling like a million dollars! Gary, my massage therapist was ethereal. Strong hands, gentle spirit and so intune with what my sore muscles needed. He offered me a choice of complementary wine, water, OJ upon my arrival and we discussed my lifestyle and he visually evaluated my posture and how that would all fit in to the service he would perform for me. I can’t say enough about him. Highly recommended. After my massage, I met Shari, one of the owners who inquired sweetly about my service and offered me yet more wine as I completed my check out process. I will be back and highly recommend Red Pearl Chicago. My back thanks you!

Today I went to the salon due to a spa package being purchased for me… And when I say that this was the «best» experience I have ever had… From the facial, to the massage, the mani and pedi it was awesome !!! I recommend everyone to go and support the salon and receive the greatest treatment ever… I will definitely be going back !!!

These ladies were kind enough to fit me in for an emergency pedi + no-​chip mani and the service was EXCELLENT!
Shari (the owner) was friendly, polite & accommodating, service me raspberry tea with honey during my service. And Anna did a FABULOUS job on my nails.
Love them and I hope they enjoy much success and even a franchise empire.

My first visit was less than stellar, but I’m glad I gave them a second chance. My manicurist upsold me into the 7 day polish the first time, but it chipped on day 3. Bummer. After I Facebook messaged them they told me to come get it fixed, but I couldn’t make me an appointment via social media.
Fast forward to a couple months later when I came in for another manicure. The owner remembered me and my chip problem and thanked me for coming back. Piper the manicurist was fantastic and gave me a great regular polish mani. They even took of $ 7 to make up for my first experience. Very unexpected, but much appreciated.
They do now finally have their prices on the website and post specials on Facebook occasionally. While their prices are a touch higher than some others, definitely check Red Pearl out. Everyone is friendly, the salon is clean and well appointed and you’re offered water, tea, or coffee as you come in. Bonus: there are little hooks for your purse by each table.

Red Pearl is my new salon. I have been here several times and I have not had a problem. My manicurist/​pedicure Piper always takes care of me. She gave me advice on caring for my feet between visits as well as explained the process every step of the way. It is nice to get my nails done by someone that speaks English. I won’t be cheating on them any time soon.

I took my wife here for a manicure & pedicure. I also got a pedicure. it was my first time getting a pedicure and it won me over. The service was great! and they did a great job on my feet! I’m not sure about how competitive the prices are?! But I will return. The service is worth the return alone.
