Anybody knows what happened to this place. Why did they close. Thats is just too bad. We loved this place.

A group of us, just finished dinning here and, so far so good(no food poisoning just yet) LOL Im glad I didnt read the reviews upon going, or else I probably wouldnt have. Everything seemed clean, organized and fresh. Everything that I sampled was quite good actually. I really enjoyed their Mongolian Beef and California Rolls… yum, yum yummy! Check it out next time you are in Chino and let me know what ya think! Happy Eating! =)

My boyfriend and I love coming here to get the variety of chinese food in addition to the mongolian bbq. We like the option of having both available for an AYCE place. The food is normally fresh and keeps getting replenished. The flavor of the mongolian bbq is good especially if you make your own sauce mix. My boyfriend likes eating the chinese donuts because they are a ball of dough friend and covered in sugar. It is a bit of a drive for us, but we like to go on Sundays when it’s $ 12 all day and since we aren’t big seafood people we don’t go on Saturdays. They seem to seat us in the corners every time we come as a couple or with other people, which seems odd. The place may not look the cleanest, but the food tastes good. The staff is normally attentive and refill drinks promptly, but when they’re really busy they seem to forget tables and you can get low on your beverage. Overall, this buffet has good variety and good flavor.

Decent buffet. Nothing out of the ordinary. They do have miso soup, and it is not that bad. Their coconut shrimp is good as well. They also have a Mongolian section.

When this place first opened a few years ago, the food was hot and fresh, and actually tasted pretty good. I hadn’t gone in a while and decided it was time to go back. This place fell off. The food was look warm to cold, the crab smelled off, and little snot nosed kids were running around touching food and throwing it back into the buffet, I even saw an adult woman who was standing and talking with a group of people walk over and stick her hands into a bowl of egg rolls to grab one out. The place looked filthy, too. How does this place maintain an «A» rating by the health department? Its obvious management here has no standards in keeping things clean. I barely even ate anything, I just wanted out and it took 20 minutes to wait for my bill, and another 15 minutes to pay because the line was moving like molasses. Never again will I eat here.

Horrible place. Never coming back here again. I came here with a couple of friends, the service was exceptional. About half the plate of craw fish I had were rotten. When I took off the shell, it had a foul odor and also the meat was a greenish-blue hue. Most of the food wasn’t the good quality, I believe the quality has died out over the years. Sushi was alright. The woman sushi chef doesn’t pay attention to the customers and ignores them when try to make a order. One of my friends had to remind her numerous times until she finally remembered to make a hand roll. They have Mongolian BBQ here too, which was nice. The chef who cooks the Mongolian BBQ wasn’t very inviting or nice. He stares at you non-stop while you’re picking out your plate. The chef looked like he didn’t want to be there. The next day though, all my friends had horrible food poisoning. Even though I have been here before, this experience will forever remind me never to return again.

Buffet is nicely priced if your with a big family. Various selections of food, but the only good thing is sushi and noodles customer service kinda sucks because they take forever to come to your table to see if you need anything.

I came here with my boyfriend for its Sunday lunch. It was $ 11.99 all day. Not bad. I’m impressed by the sushi quality of this buffet. Usually, Chinese buffet sushi is low-quality. The sashimi would stay out all day, the colors have left the fish, and the rolls are so haphazardly made that they fall apart when you move it from the platter to your plate. BUT, that’s not the case with Chino Buffet, and that made me pretty happy. The salmon sushi and sashimi tasted fresh and delicious. Same goes for the tuna. Next, I tried the Mongolian BBQ. As a fan of this cuisine, I had high expectations that were unfortunately unmet. The problem isn’t the selection of ingredients; I was actually pleased to see marinated meats and shrimp in the lineup. They also had an acceptable selection of sauces. HOWEVER, I am truly disappointed with how flavorless my plate was. Maybe it was my fault; I followed one of the sauce recipes to a tee instead of experimenting by myself. Still, even if the lack of flavor was my fault, I can’t take blame for how SAD the plate looked. The noodles, meats, cabbage, and shrimp had similar shades of the same color. Needless to say, I didn’t finish the plate. For my third plate, I got the crab, egg foo young, and the buns. I liked the crab, even though it was SLIGHTLY dry, and the egg foo young had the perfect runny consistency. As for the buns, they were delish, just as Chinese buns should be. I don’t have much to say about the dessert menu, since it’s no different than other Chinese buffets out there. One thing to note, though, is they serve a soup with white fungus and red dates. Wha? Fungus as in mushroom? Are they just trying to be fancy? Take note that the ice cream has a stiff consistency, almost like a cross between ice cream and froyo. Weird, but tastes good with the Chinese donuts. I don’t mind coming back, but only if we can’t decide where to go.

I’ve driven past this place numerous on my way to 99 Ranch and thought I’d check it out. I’ve been back twice since once on a weekend and another time on a weekday and have to say this place is pretty good as far as Chinese Buffets go! The food is consistently good and turns over rapidly which I feel is the key to the quality of any buffet.(See my review on the Happy Buffet) I liked the fresh manila clams and the whole fried shrimp. Also the service is pretty good. Both times we were seated fairly quickly and the wait staff was pretty quick in terms of getting us refills on our drinks(which they charge for by the way!) and clearing our plates. This is now becoming our go to Chinese Buffet place since the Happy Buffet has gone down so much in quality!

Dined here for my mother-in-law’s birthday on Saturday — $ 7.99 for lunch plus $ 1.99 for a drink. I thought they had a good selection of food, especially the sushi, cooked vegetables and desserts(they have cones for the ice cream!). I especially liked the crab rangoon, tuna & avocado roll, and baked mussels. They also have a Mongolian grill section so you can have your noodles and meat grilled to order. The staff is a little slow. It took awhile before someone came to take our drink order and also for refills. Even though you could see there was plenty of staff around. They did clear our dishes quickly though. My in-laws NEVER eat out, and they thought the buffet was pretty good, which says A LOT. Will def be back.

We’ve been to this buffet several times. The service has always been good in regards to refills of my drink and removal of my empty plates. I love the crab, clams, and fried bananas. I don’t eat much else there, but my husband does and loves it there. This is a usual buffet, family friendly, although I don’t understand how people could eat with their baby or kid screaming constantly, but that’s for another story. I’d go again when I’m hungry for crabs and clams.

Got invited to this family friendly Chinese buffet for a Mother’s Day get together. Better than average when compared to the other buffets I have been to because: 1. There is a varied selection of seafood — crab legs, crawfish, steamed fish, coconut and deep fried shrimp, sushi(unagi available) 2. Fruits are plentiful although the baked desserts section was rather limited 3. All the usual food statiions were there: chinese, japanese, mongolian, italian(pizza) and salads and cold appetizers The quality of food is so so and the service is deplorably bad. This place caters to huge groups and it’s like a madhouse during the peak period. Did not help that we were there on a busy weekend where they were just trying to cope with this unceasing flow of people in and out of the place.

You’ve gotta remind yourself that buffets will never be a 10 aka 5 stars. With that in mind, this place is pretty good for a buffet. Quite impressively affordable for both lunch, AND dinner. For some odd reason… beverages aren’t part of that buffet price. At least not sodas, I find that odd. There’s a salad greens bar, next to the soft serve ice cream/desserts. I didn’t think they had one, but well whadda ya know? I go for some ice cream, only to find the salad to the left, including fruits. They’ve got raw oysters, baked oysters, baked muscles, baked fish, sushi, sashimi. They’ve even got seaweed salad, and sunomono. There’s honey walnut shrimp without the walnut… other chinese food, fried and steamed rice, 2 or 3 soups. A mongolian section with tons of selection. I’ve got two issues with this place, sometimes they don’t refill the trays with more food… it’d look more appetizing if they did. Two, I think they use MSG, I get crazy headaches after every meal. Overall though I really like this place.

This is probably one of the worst buffets I have ever been to. I am very surprised this place is still in business. They purposely don’t replenish anything worth eating, i.e. a tray full of korean bbq but everyone took the meat and they left all the fat. I watched the workers look at the fat and pile it up — obviously no one touched that tray the entire night. The person manning the mongolian bbq station disappears for minutes at a time. I will not be going back.

Came here on Labor Day and they had $ 11.99 all day dinner menu. That being said, there was lots of sashimi and I actually got to order my hand rolls so this experience was much more delicious. They had oysters which tasted like the ocean(in a kind of bad way), but I guess then you know for sure where they got it from. They also had crab legs which my friends seemed to really enjoy. Their pot-stickers with the sauce was really good. They have pork ribs, some are delicious and SUPER fatty, while others are just dry like beef jerky. It’s a mixed bag. I had lots of melon and strawberries at the end which tasted great. The fried rice still tasted like sweat. It looks good and tempting though. I’ve had much worse food in my life, this place is all right.

You can’t complain about $ 7.99 for AYCE lunch but I’ve definitely had better cheap AYCE. But eh it’s right next to my bf’s house and it was convenient. I’m reading all these things in the previous reviews about triangle shrimp toast, s&p pork, unagi, shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings… WHEREWASALLTHISWHEN I WASTHERE? :( They basically have all the typical Chinese food: green beans, tofu, teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, chow mein, etc. They do offer a surprisingly good amount of sushi rolls. I always expect sashimi to taste frozen at buffets but it was actually ok. The rainbow roll was ok. The tamago was ok too. The siu mai could have been better and the crystal dumpling was pretty gross. The leaf wrapped sticky rice was just sticky rice and red bean. Red bean? Where’s the meat? :(Nobody was at the Mongolian bbq area so I didn’t get to try that at all. But hey hey hey the coffee rolls were good :)

This is probably the BEST buffet I have been to. I usually don’t like buffets, unless they are $ 30 or more and it incl. endless MEAT selections(for example, Korean BBQ or Brazilian). but this place is pretty good. It has a lot of choices and it has GREAT seafood. I think mainly I go there for the seafood. But it is very clean and the service? ehhh. i don’t really see them after i sat down. But anyways, asian buffets are never that great. and this one is probably on the top of the list by far. but i can’t give it a 5 because some of the food is a little bland and been out for too long. but you can’t expect too much from an asian buffet. The Price is Bomb!

Quality of food seems to be BETTER than the other Asian buffets I have encountered. And better yet, this place has an A GRADE!!! The must haves: Chinese Donuts(aka Pillsbury Biscuits, deep fried with sugar), Shumai, anything cooked on the mongolian grill(korean bbq, Mongolian noodles w/meat & veggies, etc), crab & crab legs, mayonnaise shrimp… The typical: rice/fried rice/noodles, egg drop & hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, stir fried green beans, broccoli and beef, orange chicken, terriyaki chicken, etc… The weird: Have you ever had the cream puffs here? The cream in them look REALLY disgusting. X_x I like this place, it was a great call to take my friends here to recover from the Halloween hang-over, lol!

I went here with my family, and the waiters were attentive. Food selection was plentiful. I really liked the shumai dumplings, wontons/potstickers, and even the har gao(shrimp dumplings). Ultimately my favorite was the crab rangoon because the creamy cheese mix inside was super flavorful! :) The Mongolian chef did a good job cooking our noodles with custom ingredients, however beware. Sometimes the raw noodles can have a different taste then what you might think. I suspect it’s because they do not wash the grill in between cookings. So if someone with super spicy ingredients gets their food cooked right before you, the spicy ingredients get left on the grill and cooked into your food. They have individually wrapped wooden chopsticks, and a sushi bar with fresh sashimi! We got so full, we skipped desert despite the fact that the almond cookies and different puddings looked yummy. Fortune cookies come with your bill, drinks are separate from the buffet price, and yes they have alcohol(you can glimpse a little of the menu in the picture). ^_^
