Literally the worst place with the most ratchet employees. Unprofessional in attitude and appearance.

Other than just saying this is the worst place to live! Weres do I begin to start?! First off the sliverfish Infestation and the cricket infestation … The office sent a guy to spray the apartment twice in one week and the problem got even worse … Also they didn’t clean out the garbage disposal from the ppl whom lived here before us which caused Nats … It took them a week for them to even check out the issues we were having … They simply told us that there wasn’t really much they could do … But offered us sticky pad stuff to catch the crickets … Also note no play ground for kids and the trash compactor well it looks like a landfill trash dump no lie … I’m glad my lease is almost up and I’m outta this hell hole I would never have my baby live in conditions like this… Plus I’m reporting them to OSHA… With pictures and videos of the this …

I was scammed by IP Apartments and would recommend any interested future-tenants look elsewhere. Upon move-in, they said they didn’t have any 1-bedroom, but could rent me a 2-bedroom and just lock the extra bed/bath. Ok, fine… after I lived there a month(single female, moving all my own stuff), they call out of the blue and said, «Your new apt is ready, you will need to move in the 1-bedroom unit this weekend.» OMG! I was NEVER told this was a possibility :(So, in order to keep from moving AGAIN, I had to pay $ 125 extra per month to stay through the next 11 months. This happened to several other people. It was a horrible overall experience, but I was just glad to be gone… then today I get a notice of collection for some stove drip pans they supposedly replaced(nearly a year ago!!!) This is the FIRST I’ve heard of this, and received a ‘clear’ notice upon my checkout inspection. Run away from this place, you will regret it :(

I’ve lived at Independence Place Apts now for almost 6 months. It’s been only over the winter time so I haven’t used much of the extra amenities like the pool, basketball court, outside grilling area, etc. The staff office has had a decent amount of change over, new management just started recently. However, when asked to do something they do get it done– usually within a few days. They also aren’t as pushing or demanding like I’ve experienced some apt staff to be in the area. Pros: — They offer short-term living agreements — Very close to base — Shopping: there is Publix down the road and Walmart down the road — Office does receive packages for you — Depending on which apt you get all utilities and bills are included in your rent, so you only have one«bill» to pay — Huge parking areas, that you don’t have to pay for, so you can store your boat, motorcycle, extra cars, etc off in one of the corners. — They offer shared apartments and set you up with roommates– they were accommodating with me to meeting my roommates before signing any paperwork though Cons: — Main entrance is on a one-way street so you have to turn right and get across traffic in order to go south on Ft Campbell Blvd. — Office isn’t able to notify you when a package arrives, you just have to keep checking in — Rent is on the expensive side, comparatively — It seems a lot of people fill certain buildings at a time, so parking get crowded easily and you just have to park further away. — Apparently, you don’t always get to meet your roommate before they assign you to a room– I would recommend meeting them first. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who was going to be working on base, if they didn’t work around the immediate area I think you might be able to find an apartment a little cheaper, but just as nice.
