We often go here in summer for the cold lobster roll. This year they have made their lobster rolls smaller and added soup. Dammit! I don’t want soup. I want a full sized lobster roll. Maybe because it was Fathers Day but the place seemed less clean than usual. Tables were sticky, popcorn all over the floors. We will probably look elsewhere this summer. Not terribly impressed.

Their menu and food seem to get better every year, and it is always surprisingly better than expected. They give you free popcorn to start while you look over the massive menu that has everything from pastas and seafood to steaks and burgers. I would personally recommend their steaks, as they seem to be the specialty. This restaurant is a senior citizen hotspot around early dinner time, so while it may not be too packed at usual meal times(12 or so for lunch, 7 or 8 for dinner), watch out for that surprise 4pm crowd that makes it unexpectedly busy! Other than that it’s never too packed and there’s rarely a wait for a table. This is one of the higher quality chain restaurants and one of the only few large chains that I’ll eat at, but it is quite good, and this seems to be one of their better locations.

The food is good and cheap prices but the servers are usually rude and act as if you’re wasting their time. When you ask them what sides come with the order they seem annoyed and run through them so fast you have no idea what they said.

Nothing special with this restaurant. The food was okay. Not great but not terrible. Very average like a worse Applebee’s. Service was fine but there was nothing extraordinary about the food. There are many better places to go eat in Cp, I do not know why anyone would go here, but I guess it’s cheap on the plus side

As far as service… So, our first mistake, asking for two waters… went down hill from there… Got our popcorn, just barely filling the bowl, adjacent tables with a different server, overflowing, but that’s ok, we’re watching what we’re eating… Order taken, 4 – 5 min stop at next table before placing order, ok, she knows them. no, shes selling tickets for a Dana Farber fundraiser, thats ok. Stops at adjacent table too… Food comes from a different server… Original server shows up, ok? yep Done eating… want dessert? No, we’re trying to be good. «Well, you did have fried fish» HUGE wrong thing to say, especially when your name tag says certified trainer… Long story short… never asked us to buy a fund raising ticket… another HUGE mistake, because we dont need a grill… her name would have went on the ticket… guess they didn’t need out $ 20. So, my mistake, giving her 15%, for doing NOTHING, I usually tip 20 — 30%… should have told the manager on the way out, but, if she’s certified, don’t think they would care… Oh yeah, food was good… just need a lesson in customer service… cuz, if you don’t provide it, someone else will… Can’t get to 99 site to post this, so if you go here beware…

Excellent casual dining and a fine adult beverage selection make this 99 well worth your stop, especially if Brian or Vicky are tending bar.

I love the food at Ninety Nine! I think that the bartenders Brian and Vicky are great.

Nice place, limited options, food of satisfactory taste. Service was delayed for a restaurant with outnumbered waiters to customers ratio, but was not a major issue. Very good cheeseburger, and the boneless wings were very nice.

I must say, 99’s definitely a family favorite! Nothing special — average food, average prices, but it appeals to everyone. My mom is basically a vegetarian and my brother is very picky but their menu is acceptable for both of them. My mom got the caprese flatbread and a wedge salad. She was happy for the most part. It had a little less cheese than she would want, but she was able to bring her leftovers home and add as much as she needed. My brother got chicken fingers. That’s a usual meal for him anywhere but he really enjoys them the most here. My dad got the blue cheese steak. He devoured it before anyone else was even halfway into their meals! And I got the boneless buffalo wings. They are the best boneless wings I’ve ever had, and for several years wings(bone-in and –out) were all I would eat whenever I went out anywhere for dinner or lunch, so I would know! Overall, we had a great time! There wasn’t a long wait, something we were apprehensive about at first because of their«no call-ahead seating» policy. Our waitress was spectacular — not too annoying, but there whenever we needed her. We made sure to tell her an give her a nice tip. I wish I remembered her name in hopes she would be recognized further for her good job. The whole night was amazing, and a fantastic way to end my brother’s birthday! The only reason I don’t give five stars is because of my mom’s slight disappointment with her flatbread, and the fact that they took most of their pasta dishes off the menu. I used to love their shrimp Toscana and I’m not sure why they got rid of it. It was so creamy, full of breaded shrimp, chopped peppers and linguine, just perfect and gone for nothing! Oh, well… Their menu still has a good selection of well cooked, American food!

AMAZING! The portions were VERY generous and amazingly, mouth-wateringly, DELICIOUS! Dined with my husband and two kids for my daughters first birthday and the waitress was absolutely phenomenal in helping to settle and please my slightly fussy daughter. We could not have asked for a better waitress, service or food. It was a bit more than we typically spend for a meal with kids but, consider that we are quite a frugal family. Our bill was about what I would expect for a family of four to dine at such a nice occasion and, given the opportunity, we will absolutely return!

The food was just average. Portion sizes on the healthier choices were very small, and the pasta sauce wasn’t very flavorful. It wouldn’t be on my list since there are so many other places nearby.

I’m more likely to go to the Ninety Nine in Saratoga out of convenience; I’ll probably only dine here if I’m shopping in the area. But I prefer this Ninety Nine to the one in Saratoga. They’re laid out about the same, and of course the menu is the same. There are a few things that make the experience a bit better here. The booths and the temperature are more comfortable, the staff is a bit more attentive, and the food just seems prepared better. Our lunch today was off the basic lunch menu. The lunch size portion of fish for the fish and chips was quite large and very thick. And the thickness was almost all fish and just a little batter done well. My seafood chowder was very rich and creamy and also quite thick. I think the only places I’ve ever had it thicker have been on Cape Cod. The salad accompanying it was larger than I expected, with good-sized chunks of tomato and plenty of shavings of cheese. Factor in the coupons they regularly send, and you’ve got a good meal at a good price.

This was my first time eating at the Clifton Park 99(second visit to a 99 overall). My motivation was predicated on the emailed advertisement of a free pint glass on St. Patrick’s Day(first 24 bar guests would get one). I got there a little before opening to ensure I received my pint glass, and it was a fairly nice one. My bartender was Victoria, an attractive and friendly woman who appears to be in her low 50s. I ordered the BBQ beef brisket sandwich which came with fries. For a sandwich it was really good. The BBQ sauce had a slight hint of Guinness in its taste, and there was plenty of meat which appeared to be cooked medium. The service was quick and friendly, so overall it was a nice experience. In my opinion this restaurant brings a good value because you get the same quality of food you’d find at TGI Fridays, Applebees, or Chilis, but the prices across the board are less(about $ 1 – 2 per entrée or dessert). Plus, they even give you complimentary popcorn as a starter which is kind of neat. I’ll most likely be returning for another visit in the near future.

My wife and I have been to several 99 Restaurants, for example the one in Wilton /Saratoga Springs, NY. This 99 in Clifton Park is superior to any we have tried. Here is why, we went to get our favorite meal here, the hot lobster roll, which is awesome when done right. We are pretty boring, we get the same items pretty much every time we go. The two times we went to the 99 in Clifton Park, the lobster had been heated enough to get much of the water out from the boiling or steaming. It was buttery goodness! In comparison, the 99 in Wilton /Saratoga both times that we went had luke warm lobster that had not been heated enough, hence a wetter lobster and a soggy roll. We went to both of these places twice and even though they are the same restaurants the littlest of differences in the product sold made all of the difference. Also, the manager at the 99 in Clifton Park came around to check on us both times, he is a super nice and evidently conscientious hard working person.
