We saw that this place had really good reviews so we gave it a shot last night, and we were definitely not disappointed!!! The restaurant is very nice, modern, and clean. It wasn’t too busy but we probably missed prime time as we went at about 8pm. Our server was also very good, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the salmon special which came with Wasabi mashed potatoes and tempura asparagus, I loved every bite, it was amazing! My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos with fries, he said they were delicious. Both portions were large, he had a ton of fries which made us both happy! And my salmon was a very good size accompanied by a large portion of mashed potatoes. Needless to say we left full. It was all very fairly priced for the portion sizes and quality, we were very happy with our meal! We also ordered the cookie skillet dessert and it was a wonderful end to a delicious meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, and I think we will definitely be back!

Clifton Country Mall is lucky to have this fine dining spot in a sea of chain restaurants in this«land of housing developments connected to malls by highways.» The menu has evolved over the last few years, with fewer entrees and more light plates/burgers/sandwiches. But the quality remains high and the service pleasant, patient and prompt. I had the sirloin steak for $ 22.00, and was surprised it came with nothing– a la carte, but the garlic mashed potatoes were worth the extra cost. Bread, flatbreads & butter were fresh! Companion’s burger and cole slaw were also good. I’d give the cole slaw a 5! Coupons: No coupons now as the City Dining Guide went digital in mid 2015 and they haven’t added Albany in online. I will miss them! Noise level: with a half full restaurant I’d say a 2(noisiest is 5– it just seems wrong to make 5 «good/quiet!), easy to hear each other and no hard ceilings bouncing noise back at diners. Guess they’re smart enough to not deter baby boomers with expendable cash, unlike some trendy«eateries.» I am beginning to think allowing that din intentionally repels an older clientele, and is part of a conspiracy of ageism. If not, take the din out of dining!!!

So glad I finally decided to try Angelo’s! After a tiring day of «Black Friday» shopping with 3 adults and 2 teenagers, the entrance way from the shopping mall to the restaurant was so warm and inviting, I said«let’s just eat right here!» We all had fantastic appetizers, dinners, and deserts. Even my mother, who is a very critical restaurant eater, liked it here! The salmon burger was an exceptionally good deal and so fresh and tasty. The service was top notch. Will gladly return.

Located inside the hotel of the Clifton Park mall other side of the movie theater and next to the movie theater. Five-star dining, really good food and the most friendly waiters and waitresses who are extremely professional with the best service. If you were dressed casual you will feel fine and fit right in, not many kids at this restaurant but some kids would be OK. For dessert the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream is the best.

I’ve been to 677 and Saratoga Prime, but have not been to this place since I didn’t know it even existed.(Thank you Unilocal) And to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day, I suggested this place for dinner. The menu is pretty basic, you won’t see pan seared foie gras on there, but it serves its purpose, which in my opinion, is to give dining guests something with a little more Umph compared to the local chains, but with a similar price point.(Actually that wasn’t my opinion, that’s straight from their website) I had the tomato Caprese Salad, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and the delmonico steak was cooked perfect, medium rare. I added the roasted garlic whipped potatoes and it definitely gave me that 677 prime feel. Great beer selection, they even have gf beer. Impressive wine selection.(with the exception of the Renwood Old Wine Zinfandel. Amador County is NOT Napa, and you can find a bottle for 19 bucks so dont get a glass for 9 $) Delicious cocktails that are always changing. If you like it a little spicy, I recommend the Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die. I will have to come back for the 10 $ burger and a beer deals on Monday, and Sunday-Thursday 5 – 7:301 $ oysters. Quick tip: Might not be a perfect place for a first date, since it is inside the Hilton Garden Inn, and it might give off the wrong impression. Even more so if you reserved a room.

We came for the $ 10 beer and a burger on Monday night and sat on the patio. Nice selection of seasonal draft beers to choose from. Burgers fresh, hot and cooked correctly. I had the side salad which was basic but fresh, French fries and sweet potatoes fries hot and crispy. Food was tasty as usual but we waited 45 minutes from being seated to getting our food– come on folks, it’s burgers and fries! We also waited a bit too long for our credit card to be picked up. Food good, service slower than other visits.

How can you possibly go wrong with a half-pound of certified Angus beef for your burger AND a pint of draft beer for $ 10? We happened to be in the mall after a movie matinée at the appropriate time on a Monday, and knew from prior experience that it was an excellent deal. I had a Shed Mountain Ale while my wife enjoyed an Otter Creek Backseat Berner IPA. Each of us chose to have our burger with shoestring fries, instead of a salad, which were very good. We requested medium-rare and that’s exactly how it was served. There is no additional charge for lettuce, tomato and onion on the burger, but we opted for some additional toppings — Provolone($ 1), bacon($ 2), Pepper Jack($ 2). The CAB was juicy and tasty. Based upon the number of people we observed eating and ordering burgers it was quite apparent that this is a popular offer. It’s been going on for at least three years that I’m aware of. Their sign says the offer is only good in the bar, but the hostess was happy to seat us in the main area and let us know we could order the special at our table. Service was friendly, polite and attentive. Even the manager made the rounds to check on each table. I feel obliged to bump my rating up at least a half star on value and another half for longevity.

Love this place. It’s laid back but still fine dining. Very tasty food. The 7 hour and the gnudi are my 2 favorites! They have yummy specialty cocktails too.

This place is in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn, but don’t let that scare you off. Food was very tasty and cooked properly. The beet salad was awesome, and the scallop & calamari plate was really nicely cooked and deliciously tender. Drink and service quality were great too. All in all, a surprisingly nice find for dinner for when I’m in town on business.

Saturday evening dinner — no so good… : The egg batter chicken looked like someone in a diner had an accident with plating. The broccolini was cooked with so much hot pepper flakes, it nearly knocked my date over, who BTW, is spice intolerant. The flavor? Just that. eggs and chicken. No seasoning. A true travesty on the menu. The burger was just that. A burger. Hard to complain. It was cooked perfect medium, but had ZERO seasoning to it, and the Dixie cup o ketchup could have helped but I needed it for my fries. Which were good. The deli dill pickle wedge? I expected more from a place charging triple the worth of said burger. Probably the best seasoned thing on the table though. Won’t be back. Ever.

This place is amazing. My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We both got filets and they were cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. The waitress was attentive but not overly. Definitely pricey but worth it for a special occasion or once in a while to treat yourself. We made a reservation but given it was a Wednesday night, we didn’t actually need one. The ambiance was lovely and it was a good intimate environment. We are thinking of making this a tradition for our anniversary and would definitely go back here again!

They offer Beer and Burger on Monday night. The burger is big and real good beef. Service is awesome. A bit hard to find by GPS. It is actually in the hotel lobby.

Have been there at least a dozen times since they have opens for both eating in and take out. Always the best food. Only one other restaurant nearby comes close to competing.

Went on a Saturday evening for dinner with the whole family. I had the boss burger. The meat was cooked perfectly medium. Topped with onion rings, not a mound like 2 or 3& prime steak sauce. Very good. Dad got the prime rib cooked rare. Very tasty as well. Tried the deviled eggs as well. Some paprika & topped with pistachios. What a treat! 8 out of 10.

Foods Great! Little pricey but expected for a high end restaurant, but when you ask for regular ice instead of a single ice cube for an over priced $ 9 Dewars only to be told they couldn’t because it was against their policy is crazy!!! Felt bad for the bartender because she was frustrated because two other people couldn’t believe it as well, but really crazy policy.

As a real estate broker, I attend numerous events and conventions. The Hilton Garden Inn is one of the most commonly used. Prime never lets you down for a great meal. Chris and Charlene are two of the bartenders and always have a warm greeting and smile for you. Great drinks and food, I highly recommend it. See you there!

Gets worse each time I go. i stay at the HGI where Angelo’s is located when I am in town for work. Used to be you could sit and eat comfortably at the bar or a dark table in the restaurant without too much fuss. Now, they are less crowded and it seems less amenable. Go figure. Prices here a bit high too, and the special night meal deals seem the way to go. All in all, I end up going back because of the lack of options — but that is not an endorsement. I would be interested to know if people have the same experience– is everything mispriced and so you have no idea what to order without either spending more on food than it should be or ordering too little. Try having a salad and burger and it is $ 30.

I have discovered that if you want a decent steak dinner in Clifton Park you will not find very many options — especially if you are looking for something a step up from Outback. The steak options at Angelo’s were OK. Cooked properly — perhaps a bit salty — but otherwise well prepared. Service was good, but we were not there when they were busy. Bread assorment was very interesting containing several differnt types. The location is a but of a turn-off. This place, as other have mentioned, is inside the Hilton Garden Inn which is located right in the middle of ‘shopping mall land’. It is not only inside the HGI, not ‘connected to, it is actually part of the lobby of the hotel. This place would be a great option for thoose staying at this hotel but I doubt I will return in the future. The food was just not great enough to overcome the location.

Update to previous review. Bumping up to 5 Stars based purely on service quality. Angelo just hires the best people and instills in them the importance of quality service. It goes SUCH a long way. My wife wanted chocolate cake, but we had already eaten. I suggested we stop at prime and get their Big, Big Chocolate cake(which is absolutely amazing). We walked right up to the hostess and ordered it, who took the order without any hesitation. They then apologized for how long it took, which was nice but silly cause it had to be less than 5 minutes and they were busy in the middle of a dinner service. My wife was super happy and that made me happy. I still don’t love the atmosphere, but if I have to chose between no Prime and a Prime in a Hotel lobby, I’ll take the latter all day long.
