The Fillmore location is consistently good, the recent closure for training and Financial reorganization? was a disappointment and the first time I went to any kangaroo after they reopened the coffee was off. But tonight is it was perfect one of the best mochas I’ve had in a long time.

The staff is nice and SO friendly! BEST COFFEE IN TOWN. I love coming here. It brightens up my day. I recommend the Carmel Frozen with extra Carmel drizzle ! (:

Was my favorite. Enough so that I bought hundreds in gift cards for Christmas. Then I sent an employee to get coffee as a tree for everyone. Found the stores closed. We then found out that they were down for training. I again stopped by today to get coffee for everyone and waited FOREVER for the coffee. Got it back and found it was nasty. Didn’t recognize the staff. They were disorganized and not friendly. If this is the training they did time to untrain. So much for the gift cards. Guess there are other choices. Will look for one tommorow. Until recently I agreed with the other reviewers but if this is the new kangaroo I think I will pass.

The staff is always awesome. Coffee is a bit weak, but isn’t pricey so it isn’t bad to add more shots. Love that it is open late and did I mention I love the staff. Punch cards are awesome and usually they hook up the stamps. If coffee was stronger I’d give it 5 stars.

I adore Kangaroo.
As someone who doesn’t really like Starbucks or support their monopoly, I’m always on the lookout for a good, local coffee place. Kangaroo is perfect for that. Their signature drinks are great and I have found every single barista willing to help and suggest a good drink. I’ve not had a single bad experience with them over the past two months and often look forward to visiting because everyone is so friendly. I also signed up for their text notifications, which is a great way to find out about new deals and fun things they’re doing.
I recommend their chocolate samoa mocha, the Vanilla Thunder, or their infused Red Bulls.

What’s not to like? Whenever I roll up, they are on me like a twister on a trailer park. They are always pretty excitable, and eager to help with any questions. Want to try something new — they can suggest it, want to make something up? — they can make it. And Fast? Fast? — these guys usually have me in and out in less than one song — and we aren’t talking ‘Stairway to Heaven’ here. It’s more like a Nascar caffeine pit stop than anything. Go there. You will Love it!

It’s a neat little place. I have yet to go here and have a bad experience as all the staff are extremely pleasant. I am typically just a coffee drinker and with that my personal taste does not favor their coffee. Occasionally I will splurge and get a latte and have no complaints with them, they are normally very tasty.

Love Kangaroo coffee on Fillmore! No matter what I order they always get it right. The baristas are friendly and always willing to suggest a delicious sugarfree, skinny drink when I can’t make up my mind.

I love stopping here in my way to work! Besides some pretty tasty coffee and good prices, the staff is always super friendly and great to converse with while your order is being prepared. Plus I like their «surprise» deals every Tuesday. Be sure to tip your barista!

I am came by on sunday around 545 am and service was just as great as it is during the day.
Also it great way to start the day with a good tasting hot mocha on the way out of town for a day of fishing.

I decided to try this coffee place after seeing the great Unilocal reviews, and I have to agree with everything they’ve said! Ordered the iced Mexican mocha and it was sooo delicious! It also happened to be happy hour so any size drink is only $ 2! The customer service here is beyond wonderful and it made my experience here even better. Taste, quality, price, and customer service — all 5 stars. You will definitely be expecting to see me here a lot :)

It’s a good thing this coffee shop is not on my end of town, otherwise they’d probably know me by name and have my debit card number memorized.
I cannot speak highly enough of Kangaroo Coffee — and this goes for both locations. The only thing better than their drinks is their customer service. Staff is so consistently friendly, helpful, and genuine. As far as drinks, never once have I had something I didn’t absolutely love. (Even if I did, I know they’d offer to remake it in a heartbeat.)
Truth be told, I’m more of a tea/​smoothie girl than a coffee drinker but if I was going to drink coffee this would be the place! (The few iced lattes I have tried here have been out of this world.) In fact, if I could get over my obsession with their pineapple smoothie made with coconut milk, I might give more of their coffee a try;).

These guys always make a great cup of Joe. Actually I prefer a large breve latte, I always add a shot because it seems a little weak without.
The service is always speedy and freaky friendly. The coffee they use seems kind of middle of the road but unless your a total coffee geek you’ll never know.
