All American Diner

Enigma: a person, thing, or situation that is mysterious, puzzling, or ambiguous.
What puzzles me about this place? A person (s) buys out a decades old economically viable diner and then enact a couple decisions that make them appear unstable in their business platform.
The first week of July (2015) it’s announced that the new management has taken over and the set hours are from 6 – 11 for breakfast and regular business hours will be Mon-​Sat 5:30 — 2:00. That’s the average operating hours for all the other diners/​cafes in town and is easy enough to remember. The menu is also competitive, price wise and selections, with the other eateries. The one unique option at this diner is they offer delivery within city limits.
Close to the end of July (2015) hours change to 5:30 — 1:30 Mon-​Fri and 6:00 — 1:30 Sat. Breakfast until 10:30. There were mentions of plate lunches priced about the same as Cindy’s Place.
Aug (2015) we pull up at 1:00 to give them a try. They were already closed. Befuddled, we left and did try again a couple weeks later, but got there before 1:00…no dice. The NEW hours now have them closing at 12:30! during the week and 1:00 Sat. Good grief! Lunch hour for a lot of people revolves around 12:00 — 1:00. I’m not sure how they can justify closing a diner at 12:30. Facebook hours state they close at 11:00 on Sat. I’m not the owner, so what do I know? Well, I know I am a PAYING customer that generally eats lunch during lunch time and for me to be a REPEAT PAYING customer, I want a place that is secure in their hours so I am not blind sided by last minute unadvertised changing of hours. Stability! That’s what I am asking for.
A week later we arrived just before 9:00 for breakfast. They were sold out of breakfast already. ??? We did sit for a minute to let it sink in that we had attempted to eat here for the 3^rd time and still have not been able to. We left and ate breakfast at Krystal.
I will attempt one more time before I write them off. If I do make it in for a meal I will update the review to reflect the actual food/​dining experience.
