When I came in the server didn’t greet… They were not busy. When we wanted something the server was ignoring us… Compare to other customers she had, she barely talk to us or if we’re doing fine. I personally think she’s a little racist because me and my boyfriend are Asian. Despite that, the food was ok.

Ok food and ok service. Not outstanding but suitable for our needs. Not a must to destination but a good backup plan for a breakfast spot.

4 of us had breakfast here yesterday. We had to wait about 20, 30 minutes for a table. It was worth it! 2 of us had the veggie scramblette, yum yum! Husband had burrito. He said it was ok, but my food was better. :) Our other friend had the special. I think it was chillaquiles(?)special. On chips, beans, hashbrowns, some tomatilla sauce(I think). He loved it! Service was good, coffee good. Oh and the biscuits! Tasty tasty! Wished we lived closer!

Had the Denver breakfast tacos this morning. They were fantastic and so were the hash browns. Staff was very friendly and treated us like locals. Going back tomorrow with more family this time.

This place isn’t bad-super friendly staff-decent menu-fresh refillable coffee-they have a counter top that is nice-I had the breakfast burrito with sausage-the vegetarian green chili is ok-wish it would not have been vegetarian-overall pretty good-was hoping that had some kind of crazy local special-if I go here again I’ll get biscuits and gravy-that looked real good

I gave five stars because 2 people were doing the work of a whole staff on Black Friday. It’s our 2nd time eating here and both were amazing. All our food was quick, hot and delicious. I’m not a sausage gravy kinda guy but there’s was awesome. My pancakes were light and fluffy. Kids enjoyed there breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict. I can’t wait to eat here again on our next trip.

Food was ok. «Stuffed«french toast was rather boring. Wait time was horrible and staff doesn’t care to find you when you have to wait outside. If they are not busy, stop by but not worth waiting an hour+.

Shorter wait than anticipated, excellent service, & delicious home style food! The stuffed apple French toast is amazing! My husband ordered that & I got eggs, hash browns, biscuit, & sausage links and we split so we could have a little of everything. The hash browns were really good & not greasy. The biscuit was a perfect & homemade; great with honey on it! Sausage links were huge & tasty. Excellent place to eat, but gets crowded quickly. Go in early or call ahead to check wait times.

Came here early on a Saturday morning and we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and was always ready for refills of coffee and water. The omelettes were really excellent. We will definitely come back during another trip to Crested Butte.

You can tell this place is trying but something just isn’t working. We were told our wait would be 30 minutes but it ended up being more like an hour. Slightly irritating but not that big of a deal. After ordering, we waited quite awhile for our food. After it was delivered, my food was cold. The flavor was good but it wasn’t even warm at the time I got it. Others received there food and found it to be bland. The last person in our group ordered a cinnamon roll which came out at the same time she dropped off the check and still charged for it. Overall, not impressed.

Oh man it was good! Try the HUNGARIANMUSHROOMSOUP! Reason alone to come back. We went during first week of October for lunch. I had the portabello muffalatta. Similar but different from the new Orleans Central Grocery muffaletta. Just be aware. The ciabatta bread and olive tampanade was great. Great big Portobello mushroom was really flavorful. My girlfriend had the avocado bacon tomato and spinach sandwich. She loved it. She swears she is going to try to make it at home. We’re going back tomorrow. Really attentive wait staff. The prices are reasonable for a resort town.

This is my favorite place for breakfast in Crested Butte. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

They do it exactly right at breakfast. Straightforward menu, great service, nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. Bustling noise mingled with good humor. Nothing fancy. Wife reports excellent eggs Benedict. I report excellent scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffin, hash browns. I smothered it with a side of very respectable green chili. You can’t go wrong when you handle all of the basics this way. The place looks like an old general store space – rectangular with high ceilings. The counter seats about a dozen, and there are an equal number of tables. Waitresses hustle and help each other. One minor suggestion(I didn’t deduct for this): the menu could be a little more creative without ruining the commitment to basics. McGill’s ventures into eggs Benedict and smoked salmon, so why not get a little more imaginative than Denver omelettes? The green chili is hidden at the bottom of the menu – why not feature it in a menu item? It wouldn’t hurt to update the menu by a decade or so. Still, no complaints, really. I would go five stars, but you don’t go five stars for a breakfast diner. Four is the max, and McGill’s hit it.

We were looking forward to a nice breakfast and the host told us there would be a 20 minute wait. 2 hours later we were still never called. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. The host was not helpful and rude. We won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.

Somehow our 20 minute wait turned into a 2 hour wait. When we checked on the status the host got angry and said the wait is the wait and he’ll get to us when he is ready. Since he was a jerk we just left. Never will give this place another chance.

This a basic breakfast restaurant. The coffee is okay, but tastes a little burnt. The staff is always friendly. Sadly, the menu hasn’t changed since they opened. It could really use several new breakfast items. Eggs, pancakes and eggs benedict just doesn’t cut it. How about corned beef hash, too?
