Just an update to my review posted 10÷22÷15: The staff here work very hard and even if they make a mistake, they always go the extra mile to make sure the customers are happy. They have a polite, upbeat attitude and I always look forward to my next visit. However, the manager’s attitude toward the other employees is not something I look forward to. More than once I have seen him talk down to the employees in a rude manner. It really bothers me that he is so condescending and rude to his team in front of customers. They work hard while maintaining a good attitude, and it seems obvious to me that he is the one with the negative attitude.

I would like to start by saying the reason why they have at least two stars is because I was greeted at the front door. After that a young lady asked me to her register and ask may I help you. I asked her what is the difference between gourmet and regular bagels. Her response was one cost more then the other. She said it very sarcastically but maintaining a smirk on her face. So I asked her again what is the difference I can see the price difference. She then proceeded to say it has more stuff on it. What a negative reply to indicate that there toppings is considered to stuff. So I asked her again what is a gourmet bagel. She finally started rambling various different bagels then she said ones with lots of stuff again. So I asked her about the everything bagel and she says no that’s regular. & I said well it does have lots of stuff on it. And she continued to look at me with a smirk face. So as I was waiting for my bagel I call the manager and told him. As I watch she was never addressed at that particular point so I imagine this is why this behavior continues to happen. Much success in the future.

I tend to order pretty simply, and stick to an egg-and-cheese bagel, at most places like this. The bagels are good, but in general it’s a little pricey. Most times I’ve been to one of these, they’re pretty busy. Einstein Bros, for me, is a change-up from my standard breakfasts if I have a little extra time while out, since generally one has to go inside.

I’ve been to this Einstein twice now, making it my second trip to any Einstein’s. The food is decent, but the atmosphere is rushed so I feel pressured into making a quick decision. I do not suggest the pretzel bagel. It has the taste of a pretzel, but with four times the salt. Not very tasty. Also, the lighter roasts of the coffee have an odd aftertaste. The darker roast was much better. I will probably come back, but it’s not going to be my regular breakfast place.

Really bad service!!! Ordering system does not work, I pay for my food and they handle it to some one else twice, I ask at the end for a refund and left the place!!:(

I had been craving an Atlantic Salmon bagel for ages, so my boyfriend and I tried this place out. It was quite quiet when we ordered and sat down, but the place filled up quickly. My bagel was amazing, however, the service is lacking. I ordered an iced coffee and my boyfriend got lemonade, the girl working there walked over and slammed an empty plastic cup on the table and walked away. My boyfriend assumed it was the lemonade and went to go fill it up, my iced coffee never came. I’m assuming that cup was meant for me but I’ve never been to a place where you have to fill up your own iced coffee. Strange.

Used to stop by Einsteins in the morning a lot for breakfast, not at this location, but I moved and there wasn’t one in my life, but I have now gone to this one a couple times for lunch and really like it. You can get a good health bagel sandwich that isn’t expensive and has good flavor. They also have some panini’s and breakfast bagels all day. They have a kind of strange but nice outdoor patio area as well.

This is by far the best Einstein Bro Bagels I have been to. What makes this place, is the employees! To be far, I’ve been going here religiously for over 8 months. This crew knows my name, what I order every time I go in, and to be honest I’d guess I get special treatment because I smile and tell them to have a great day. I know what it’s like to work in a fast paced environment where people need to get to work and don’t want to wait on you while you refill the coffee urn. The employees are always smiling(the ones that have worked there awhile), asking for your order and are genuinely happy to be there. That’s what I like about this place. Even when they are super busy, they still smile and tell you to have a great day. The bagels can not be beat. I love bagels! I love freshness! These guys got it down. $ 4.78 for a specialty bagel with cream cheese & a medium coffee. You can’t get a better breakfast deal than that! Bottom line, service is phenomenal, I work at a company where we are graded on customer service(not to mention manager and assistant are paid based on their customer service level) and these guys BLOWUSOUTOFTHEWATER! I will continue to go here every chance I get. Don’t let anyone tell you this place isn’t the best breakfast spot around. They’re just plain wrong!

My order was great, and was how I’d asked for it, but they were really busy and the organization behind the counter wasn’t great. They also were really not friendly at all, and they were pretty abrasive with each other which made me uncomfortable. I also think they almost forgot part of my order.

I stopped in for bagel thin yesterday… clean restaurant, great, fresh bagels, but the staff really is not very friendly! Seems as if you are bothering them when you go to place an order.

Interesting customer service. The girl who took my order, although polite, came off abrasive. The general manager rang me up, but couldn’t find my order in the computer. I was the only person in line. Instead of asking me what I ordered, he yelled at the«order taker girl» and asked her. Einstein bagels are the best in Dallas and the quality is pretty consistent all over. The customer service at this location lacks. Thank goodness it isnt the closest to my house.

Bonquiqui is alive and well and working at Einstein’s! I had a couple of coupons to use and asked BQQ1 if I needed to place two orders and she said no. At the register, BQQ2 tells me that they must be rung separately. I explained what BQQ1 said and she huffed«well she be new,» as if I should have known that. I said I still wanted to use the coupons and she stormed off to get BQQ3, who was Valedictorian of their«out of the hood» program. Needless to say, won’t be going back there, or I’ll surely be hearing«I will cut. You.»

I come here at least once or twice a week for breakfast and coffee(our office usually goes for the bagel box rather than individual bagels). The coffee is delicious and always extremely hot! The bagels are good, not the best, but good. There is a bit of chaos upon entering if it is busy(the logistics of the place are terrible). I have been extremely pleased and extremely bothered by the customer service: it really depends on who is taking your order. When I get a certain few employees, I know my order will be correct. Otherwise, it’s a crapshoot. You have to remember to grab your chips if you are ordering a combo for lunch(which are somewhat hidden in a corner, near the ordering counter). I almost always forget because they are hidden so well! Sometimes it is an issue to get an employee to ring up your order, but I do find myself coming back again. It is usually busy in the mornings, so I won’t hold that against them, obviously. But they almost always have a lot of employees standing around in the back, not assisting during the busiest times. I DO love that Einstein’s is constantly e-mailing or posting coupons on Facebook, so I’m never there without a discount! The savings are worth it, especially considering how over-priced the lunch menu is! I’ve pretty much reduced my visits to breakfast time only because of the pricing. On a side note: Schlotzsky’s is opening up a few stores down on Berkshire, which has better sandwiches that are slightly cheaper(and better).

I just can’t get over how hot the coffee is here! The bagels are as good as you can get in Dallas and you are able to get breakfast style and lunch style. If you can figure out the line you have to get in to place your order and pick it up, you have won half the battle. You can pick up a dozen in a box to go for the office, or for yourself, but don’t forget to ask for a freezer bag. Nobody should have a dozen fresh bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese readily available.

Okay… I apologize about the bagel rant again but, even the just-north-of-mediocre but consistent bagels at Einstein’s(which will do but are not the real thing) should have standards for service. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to get someone to cash them out when it is just a line order/check out. The manager himself was grumpy and seemed annoyed to be there. The food is exactly what you expect… but it could be a Subway. By this I mean that, aside from the cream cheese it could be sliced bread, a pita or a tortilla: the bagel is NOT the thing. The name should be Einstein’s Sandwiches n’Stuff with Cheese. …On second thought, that name is too much fun! …Cheese!

I feel I have to review this Einstein location due to the fact that I’m there so often. It’s in the same shopping center where I work, and I really love the food. I don’t do breakfast too often however because, as you can imagine, it’s incredibly busy and packed with soccer moms and business men,(this is the Highland Park area mind you). When I do order breakfast, I usually go for the lox and bagel. I love the addition of the tomato, really brings it to a whole other realm. Their wraps are really good and the«Tasty Turkey» sandwich is my favorite. Matter of fact, they know me so well there, I rarely need to place my order, because they already know what I want… a tasty turkey, toasted, with potato salad(which as another reviewer commented, is rather mayonaisy, but I like mayo). The sandwich contains cucumber, which I like, but always remove and eat after I’m done with the sandwich. Cucumber is a palate cleanser after all, and takes away from the over-all flavor of the sandwich. The prices are a bit insane however. That one damn sandwich after tax comes to almost $ 7. I can go to Quiznos or Subway and get a sandwich 3 times bigger for $ 5. But since there’s not one of those near me when lunch time comes and I’m freakin’ hungry for a sandwich, I go to Einsteins. Overall, the food is really good, their«darn good coffee» is in fact, darn good, but it would take an Einstein behind the calculator to figure out how they can charge so much.
