Best chicken parm and caprese sandwiches. A hidden gem in Dedham. Portions are huge, you will have leftovers. Great service and friendly environment. Highly recommended! !

Good Subs a little small for the price but tasty. Good staff, one of the better tasting subs in Dedham, just make them a little larger

we like this place, the counter person was really awesome the owner could be more friendly and bring the Italian neighborhood feel to the place, just saying. We did buy a bag of cookies they were pretty bad(not made in house). It’s really hard to replace your Italian mom’s cookies.

Occasionally, during a long lunch, I’ll venture into Dedham and grab a lunch. After trying the Caprese Sub here there is little chance I’ll venture elsewhere. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh and the ingredients — with a nice tasting, but dense roll just melds together for a really beautiful sub. I did venture to several other subs here because I am hunting for the best Tuna Sub I can find, and this one is better than most. At almost $ 8 this one’s a bit more pricey than most places for a small — but bigger than many. So if you don’t mind a «day old rest of the sub» or if you’re just hungry, it’s well worth it because the tuna is nicely lubricating with good mayo(Hellmann’s is my guess), nothing innovative but I order with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The roll — as mentioned — is not fluffy and light but dense with that classic olive infused outer crunch. The Chicken in Chicken Parm sub is outstanding. I got it plain but will add on next time. It had a crunchy exterior but moist in the middle even after a 15 min. ride back to work. One note is that if you order anything hot be prepared to wait a little longer than you might normally. Try not to drool.

I love this place for lunch! I am a fan of the Caprese and the Chicken Parm. Also have tried the Amalfitano and grilled cheese paninis which are good. I consistently choose Vincenzos over the Salem Food Market. 10÷7÷15− updated to 5 stars.

I found Vincenzo’s on Unilocal and was not steered wrong. We had a 2 day meeting and ordered lunch for both days. First day was an Italian cold cut platter, Tuscan roasted vegetables, bowtie pasta salad and cannolis. The second day was chicken parm, porchetta, rigatoni with chicken and broccoli, cannolis and biscotti. Everything tasted fresh and did not have a stale catering taste. The design of the lunchmeat was very nicely displayed. The roasted veggies lacked a little oomph in flavor(although the mix of variety was pleasantly different), but you were able to taste each vegetable by itself. The cannoli cream had a slight anise taste, but was also fresh tasting, so it wasn’t a problem. The chicken parm and porchetta were outstanding. The chicken and broccoli macaroni had a flat white sauce(not cream-based), but again, the freshness and general quality of food made it a non issue. It was very reasonably priced, they delivered to us when they said they would and there was not one issue. They obviously care about the food and the quality leaving their store. I have no complaints and would absolutely use them in the future.

Got the eggplant parm per someone else’s comment and it was incredible. The bread is not just your average sub roll. Very authentic and very delicious!

Ah-mazing! The husband and I were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch. He was craving a classic Italian sub. I wanted any type of sandwich, really. Enter, Vincenzo’s. Thanks to Unilocal,we found this place and choose to give it a shot. Boy, am I happy we did! The place is kind of small, but in a classic Italian, Little Italy, maybe-even-actually-in-Italy way. There is a classic Mediterranean sea-side hilltop town mural on one wall, «Italy» aprons and flags hanging from the ceiling. Glass butcher displays offer up cuts of meat and cheese and a wall of shelves house various imported Italian grocery goods, from pasta to cookies. Eight to ten tables litter the shop, and a counter at the back is where you place your order, from a handwritten chalkboard menu above. They offer paninis and classic sandwiches(and probably more that I didn’t notice, I was so fixated on my own meal). Husband got the classic Italian and I ordered up a Porchetta panini. My god, that sandwich was good! The bread was soft, fluffy and crispy in all the right places. The meat was tender and juicy. Jut the right amount of broccoli rabe and provolone made this one of the best, albeit simple, sandwiches I’ve ever had. Sometimes, less is more. The shop was full of all walks of life; from a table of older(actually Italian — they were speaking it!) regulars in the back corner(I’m sure it’s «their» table) to another table of loud, middle-aged women gawking over each others’ grandchildren, to business men in suits to down and dirty townie-folk in their worn-in, backwards Sox hat. Everyone was welcome! And we will most certainly be going back!

Best sandwiches in the area! Authentic Italian deli, sandwiches, and assorted lunch and dinner specialties. Love the Pisano pressed sandwich. Delicious! So many good options but this tops them all. There is a small grocery section and they also do holiday special items that are not always posted you have to ask. Service can seem stilled or rushed at times, but they are very friendly and helpful. Parking is the only little drawback. We walk here from square. Would highly recommend.

After reading all the reviews and was pumped to try this place. Have to say left pretty disappointed and still hungry. Let’s see where can I start. The portions could be a lot more for the price u pay. Ended up going with the ramon which had Turkey, roasted red peppers and provalone. No sauce No anything. Lucky if you got two slices of Turkey and couldn’t figure out Why it said red peppers when they had orange and red on it. The sandwich was bland and had No taste to wow u over with upon first bite. They definitely could ha e been stuffed more. Friend had the breaded cutlet chicken sandwich and was not impressed either. Parking can be tough to find since they share a lot with other businesses in the area. Staff was OK nothing friendly nor real helpful but it didn’t bother me. Overall I can think of many other places that do a way better job than this place. Nothing to rush to That’s for sure and won’t be back anytime soon.

This place is fantastic but has recently reduced the amount of product it put in its sandwiches. I used to love the thick slices of mozzarella and the generous prosciutto with the fat trimmed off. Maybe the new guy just needs some training. The is still a good find with home made food.

Amazing. I’ve eaten all over Italy and I have to say, no other place I have been to in Boston, i.e. the North End, matches the authentic«tastes» and«textures» I’ve experienced at this little eatery. I want to make it a goal of trying everything on the menu… But it’s so hard! I keep going back for the egg plant parmesan sandwich, which is the best one I’ve ever had. And it’s always consistently wonderful. I love how they can take something so simple, but with the right seasoning and care, turn it into something exceptional. Even their pastas are amazing. I just had a plate today. Clearly, the pasta noodles were hand-made, and even the shrimp was premium, tiger shrimp. I have no doubt that if I lived in Dedham, I would eat here every day. This place is Italian food perfection. Eat-in aside, this place of full of Italian imports so if you want to pick up good cheese/cured meats, or Italian cookies and espresso coffee, you will love it here.

Nice little place a bit off the beaten path. Very friendly and quick service. I had a very good caprese sandwich there. I have also tried the meatball sandwich. It is good but I prefer my meatball subs on a soft sub roll, just a personal preference. I had some very good cannoli and tiramisu also. Fresh filled cannoli, the only way it should be done. I should have thought to tell them no powdered sugar though, and the tiramisu needs a bit less powder on top. I hate inhaling powder as I am trying to eat my desserts. I was looking for the change at the counter as I was paying, about $.40 and the guy told me don’t worry about it, even though he could see I had dollars on the counter to cover it. How often does that happen? never. I would definitely stop in again

Love this place! Friendly service and lots of delicious items to choose from. So far, I’ve only gotten deli items but I would love to go back and try their sandwiches. My go to is their genoa salami. It’s $ 10 a pound but well worth it. Check this place out if you haven’t already.

As a native New Yorker living and working in Boston, I am constantly on the search for food that reminds me of the great neighborhood eateries that I miss so much. Vincenzo’s is the best I have found since moving here in 2004, with out question. It is like every great neighborhood-deli I would go out of my way for, complete with an entire store of authentic, Made in Italy products to take home(dried pasta, sauces, cookies and cakes). Their sandwiches are made with Grandma’s love, they never disappoint. My favorite is the Avillinese Panini(eggplant funghetto with smoked mozzarella), and my alternate is the eggplant parm(get it with the smoked mozzarella, trust me). I can’t get enough of this place, and fortunately, my office is only a few miles away, so I am counting on a weekly visit at a minimum.

I’m interested in this restaurant mainly for their Caprese sandwich. I finally got there today(their hours are difficult to say the least for anyone who has a 9 – 5 and enjoys sleeping in on weekends) and ordered my favorite sandwich, the Caprese. The Caprese is excellent here. With much more basil, I’d call it the best in Boston. I’ll rate the ingredients. Cheese: A+, bread: A-, tomatoes: A+, basil: B-, other seasonings: A. It beats City Feed’s «Fresh Mozzarella» handily in every category except basil. I have to say, I still prefer the City Feed one just because I get this sandwich specifically for the fresh basil at each place I order it. With that one alteration, this could be the best sandwich not just in Boston but in the US. I’m sure there are better specimens in Italy, though. Long live the Caprese.

I had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful Italian deli and specialty store a few days ago. I had the Caprese sandwich. The fresh mozzarella is homemade and AMAZING! My friend had the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich, which was also delicious. The Italian bread is mouthwatering. It was really fresh and perfect for the sandwiches. While we were there we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They are very hardworking and friendly. I could see myself being personal friends with them. The ambiance of this place is really happy and upbeat. We sat next to four gentleman who were speaking in Italian and seemed to really be enjoying their meals as well. It was a lot of fun. I would be terribly remiss if I did not mention their OUTOFTHISWORLD homemade mini cannollis. In my opinion the are better than Mike’s cannolli in the North End. Seriously! I also noticed that they had a lot of Italian Specialty items that would make really nice gift basket fillers. Speaking of gift baskets, I also noticed that they have some ready made so if you need a quick gift for a foodie there’s an idea for you. They also have gift certificates which would also be a great gift for anyone. I’m lucky because I live close and I am going to go back often. It’s nice to support local, family owned businesses. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be sorry!
